Mass Traffic Network Announces Final Countdown

Rick Jorgenson, CEO of Mass Traffic Network, announced today that it is closing its doors for associate enrollment at midnight January 14^th and will conduct the first orientation webinar for the associates on January 16^th.

“Since making the decision to limit the number of incoming associates from 150 to 50 our phones and emails have been overflowing”, said Jorgenson. He went on to comment, “What we are doing is unprecedented in internet marketing. Instead of increasing enrollment, we're slashing it. We're doing the exact opposite of what you see during most IM launches.”

Jorgenson adds, “When I put together Mass Traffic Network, I recruited 15 partners--all experienced marketers and entrepreneurs -- to be coaches and mentors for our Associates. Our goal was (and still is) to create real online businesses for the Associates who signed on -- and share in the profits of those businesses as our incentive and compensation.” …he continues to say, “But we needed to set a real limit on the number of Associates we would allow into the program. After running some numbers with the partners, we arrived at 150. But it wasn't without a few reservations from several partners. They were concerned that 150 Associates would tax their capacity as coaches.”

He went on to comment, “So after much deliberation we made the decision to cap enrollment at no more than 50 Associates. Our commitment is to deliver the best chance at success for this group of associates and we are now convinced that by capping our enrollment at 50 we can now feel assured of that”. He added, “We are now at 75% of that number so the last remaining spots will go fast”.

Talk to anyone who makes their living as an online marketer and I guarantee you that sometime over the next two years you will hear them come to this conclusion: Multiple web sites are dead, authority sites are the future. Believe it or not they are right.

As an authority in the field of SEO and web traffic I talk to lots of online marketers. Many of them have recently shut down hundreds of niche websites in favor of developing a few focused sites on markets they intend to concentrate on in 2008. Why? They have discovered that two of their sites are making more money than all of the other 200 combined. Let me share with you why this is true and why it will continue to be the case from here on out.

First, like it or not, search engines define, guide and regulate online business, especially the big one: Google. The Google slap has become a horror story no online marketer wants to repeat. This “SLAP” occurs when Google changes their methods and procedures in order to fine tune the delivery of a more quality search experience to the public.

Say an online marketer had 100 web sites with SEO-rich but humanly unreadable content on them in order to monetize their sites with Adsense; Google hates this. Why? Because they know their future is tied in more with the public than with online marketers making them money. They want the public to continue to see them as the best in online search. So, they want everyone to have a superior experience when visiting a web site as a result of a Google search.

Now, listen closely, because what I’m about to say should guide your online marketing strategy from here on out. Google is SMART. They are smarter than you. They know everything about your online business and more about you personally than you want to believe. Read that sentence again. I used to doubt this, but no longer.

And, I have no doubt that you will find a way to grab a few quick bucks by using questionable or dubious strategies. However, like the true thief of today, you are destined to wake up down the road and say something like: “My God, I spend all this time trying to steal from others. Now I’m in jail and I’ve lost everything. I would stand a much better chance of making money in life by going out and using all my 'thiefdom skills' on building a legitimate business.” If you are currently making $10,000 a month using all your back hat mojo, I’m here to tell you that you can make $50,000 a month with an approach that has QUALITY and AUTHORITY at the center.

I hope that the moment of reality I’ve just described above for the offline thief has caused all you online marketers to think twice about your strategy for 2008 and beyond. Don’t get me wrong. I too love a good short cut. To be honest I have tried my own Black Hat tactics, and some of them did work…for a while. However, after I started using that energy on building QUALITY into my business everything changed. I now know this is the right strategy, not just for me but for everyone who wants to succeed in this exciting business.

Why not start today by approaching your business with deferred gratification as part of your model. That means from here on out you will give up your quick buck, quick fix mindset. Why not aim to become an AUTHORITY in a niche you love. If you do, you will win.

Yes, I know it’s not easy. But that’s why I think you will win. Most people online are addicted to EASY, QUICK, SIMPLE, and FAST. Think of it this way. You will have less competition, not more. Think about this for a moment. A year or two from now many online marketers will be FORCED to build authority sites just to make money and survive. You will have already known and responded to this reality long before the others were compelled to do so.

OK, I hear you. This all looks good Rick, but, does it really work in driving qualified website traffic? Well, the proof is in the pudding, as they say or in this case the video. Here is one of my “proof” campaigns that I have set up and am running on one of the smaller Ad Networks. It is targeting the weight loss market and I have it running in both the “Health and Wellness” and “Women’s Interests” channels within the network.

I want to emphasize that this is only a fraction of the available traffic in these channels on this network and that this is just one of 10+ networks where this campaign can run.
