It’s well established that Ence is a noodle criminal, and no punishment is too harsh for one such as him.

Way, way back, it was always our intent to use the clock as a regular plot device. Increasingly more powerful demons would keep pouring out of it until, eventually, the wall between dimensions would come down entirely. Which, of course, sort of did still happen.

Anyway, I hope everyone’s enjoying this tale of Locke and Ence as would-be demon hunters as much as I am! I say that because there’s still at least two weeks of his arc left, so get comfy!

Real-life Locke is more of a nerd for that sort of demon and “dark magic” type lore than I am. I mean, I know what a manticore is, but I don’t WHY a manticore is. Or how jakalopes can support giant antlers on their tiny bodies. Or why mimes feel the need to be so mimey.

I didn’t really have any fears when I was a child. Except for, you know, bees and stuff like that. And scary movies. I still can’t watch scary movies. Vigo in Ghostbusters 2 really freaked me out. Also, just about every single image in the Secret of NIMH.

Also also, turns out they’re completely incompetent since it took them three years to accomplish this one thing.

As pointed out, Locke is always ready for vampires, but sometimes they require a different approach. Letting yourself be possessed by the vampire is not the right approach.

These poor guys are never gonna get to finish their card game.

I have to admit that I’ve never met a bat, so I can’t really comment on their smell. I’d imagine that anything that lives in a cave wouldn’t smell too pleasant, though. Especially if it’s like, you know, a cave in the demon realm. A demon cave.

How would you go about dealing with a giant bat monster thing? Actually, how would you even go about dealing with a regular bat? I don’t even know what to do when there’s a bee in my room.
