Rick Ross Live On Le Grand Journal

2014-03-27T22:13:00.001-04:00

I always think it tests an artists true worth to see how they handle a live audience. Rick Ross teaming up with his DJ and hype man to come together to bring their audience a powerful punch. This is also a test to the rappers global reach. You would be hard pressed to tell that they are getting down in a non-english speaking country, France. The crowd seems to enjoy every minute of the performance.

Usually I am to too into 'street' anthems like this, but the beat is kill 'em with that sample. Diddy already let go of some behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot but this is the first look at the track as a whole. The new album titled Money Making Mitch is coming soon. Download the single on iTunes Here.

NEW: "Fast Life" by Asher Roth [Music Video]

2014-03-25T16:24:00.001-04:00

Asher Roth releases this single off his upcoming album 'Retro Hash' dropping 4/22... which I really don't understand considering the album references 'Hash' and Asher isn't taking advantage of dropping it on 4/20.

The video shows Asher asking people to grab a message out of his mysterious box. What does the message say? You have to watch to find out...

He's an 8 time All Star, 5 time Silver Slugger, and a 2 time Home Run Champion. Yes, Miguel Cabrera is pretty good. But he's getting better this year, and he wants to help you get better too. Laszlo Bock, the senior vice president of people operations for Google is a smart guy. He is in charge of hiring people at Google. He recently sat down with the NY Times and talked about what he looks for in a candidate...his answers may surprise you. Read on...

“When you look at people who don’t go to school and make their way in the world, those are exceptional human beings. And we should do everything we can to find those people.”

Too many colleges, he added, “don’t deliver on what they promise. You generate a ton of debt, you don’t learn the most useful things for your life. It’s [just] an extended adolescence.”

Your degree is not a proxy for your ability to do any job. The world only cares about — and pays off on — what you can do with what you know (and it doesn’t care how you learned it).
