Below is an example of what I tell people when they are new to the Network Marketing Industry and try to recruit me even though I am currently partnered with Syntek Global. I ask people these questions and then use my company Syntek Global as an example of an opportunity that can answer all of these questions. You would not BELIEVE their facial expressions when I ask them these questions and how it relates to their company, product, and opportunity they have to offer...LOL...But its the truth these questions will help you pick the right MLM company for you!

Hey there Cornell!

I received your info and have taken a look at the company you now represent. Thanks for sharing the info but at the moment, I’m not interested in a new venture, but I wish you all the best and to your success. Keep doing what you doing! I just wanted to share some info with you on what helps me to decided if a company is a right fit, some things you want to look into before joining to help you make a logical decision, not based on “HYPE”.

There are a few network marketing opportunities that are just scams. There are far more that may be well-intentioned, but have a poor track record, for any number of reasons. So how do you separate the wheat from the chaff? I have some ten tips to help you pick the right network marketing opportunity for you.

1. Has the company been around for at least 5 years? Syntek Global has been around for 20 years & has been very successful in the fuel industry.

If you want the efforts you put in today to pay off for many years in the future, choose a company that has proven that it will be around for the long term. 90% of all network marketing companies FAIL within their first 2 years. You don't want to invest your precious time and resources (not to mention your future) in something that may not be in business next month, do you?

2. Is the company well capitalized? Yes it is.

In other words, does it have the cash that it will need to grow, to maintain a solid infrastructure, to attract talented management, to keep pace with technology — and, of course, to pay your commissions!

3. Does the company offer products or services that are unique? Yes & we very unique

That is, they're not readily available elsewhere (especially at a discount) and they're not just another "me too" product that has loads of competition.

4. Is there a genuine need for the product or service? Yes, people NEED to SAVE MONEY ON GAS NOW, AND PROTECT their investment (vehicle & home)

You've probably heard horror stories about people ending up with a garage full of expensive water filters - the reason that happens is because only other distributors will purchase the product at that price! Your product or service must fill a REAL need at a fair price - and there should be a large untapped market for it. In other words, it MUST provide tremendous value, so the customer is the biggest winner.

5. Is the product or service trendy or a fad? FUEL IS A NECCESITY, NOT A TREND OR FAD. FUEL DRIVES THE ECONOMY. ITS HIGHLY CONSUMABLE, EVERYONE PUMPS GAS!

You can't build long term residual income (i.e., your retirement!) if the product or service only has short term appeal (e.g., beany babies, etc.). Think long term instead. Is the product or service something that your customers will continue to use for a long time?

If they are, the company is strong, and the product or service is a winner, (and, of course, you're willing to learn) you WILL succeed. There's a big difference between a "sponsor" and a "recruiter." A sponsor coaches. motivates and trains and a recruiter just signs people up and in most cases, abandons them.

9. Is there a way to build your business part-time without losing your full time income?

The company must have automated systems that can do the heavy lifting (i.e., selling and sorting) for you so that you can use your limited time efficiently.

10. Will you have FUN? Yes you will, I am!

Although this may not be an element of your current JOB, we think it's important! You should have a lot of fun with your business partners while you work together to build a long term business and your financial army.

So there you have it — ten criteria for selecting a superior network marketing opportunity. Of course, even with a great company, there's no such thing as a free lunch. You WILL have to work! But, with the right opportunity (unlike your job), it won't have to be forever!

And so Cornell, all that I mentioned above is what attracted me to Syntek Global and thousands of others. What It Takes To Overcome Fear

I want to start by sharing this truth, because, there seems to be this misconception that successful people, successful business owners, successful executives, successful leaders, successful athletes, successful actors, etc. .. do not have fears. This is false. We do, but (yes, there is a but), an important distinction: it is not that we do not have fears, it is that we’ve learned how to face and embrace them!

Every time you aim towards reaching new heights, you will encounter fear. Reaching that next level requires you to take a leap of faith: whether it is leading your own business, leading your team, or leading yourself.

To be sure, there will be times when every step after that initial leap just fills you with fear. That is completely natural, and the most important thing you can do when you question your every move is to just keep moving forward. Don’t let the fear hold you back or keep you standing still in the same place. It is about pushing through.

Even taking baby steps will help you move past fear and closer to the fantastic vision you have for your life. Transformation can happen, both incrementally and in windfalls. To make any kind of transformation in your life, in your business, in your team, and in yourself, the most important thing you can do is to work on mastering your mindset, and especially, learn out to face your fears. This is how you will get past your fears and keep putting one foot in front of the other.

You need to stretch to grow; so, go for it: accept; face; embrace, and push through your fears to break through your comfort zone and reach your next level.

“Having reviewed the performance of Xtreme Fuel Treatment for the last 7 months, it appears to improve burner efficiently and heat output with the fuel oil we are currently using.

We took our oil storage tank out of service in February for routine inspection and repairs. We found approximately 1.5 to 2 feet of sludge build-up in the bottom of the tank which indicates, to some degree, our oil quality, during this period we were unable to use Xtreme Fuel Treatment and our usage rate is up an average of .35 gallons per ton.

Since new management has come, we have changed several operation parameters. One of those parameters is system temperature, which we raised to help improve product hardness. Previous history indicates that the plant was some what rate limited due to the burners ability to generate enough heat. While using Xtreme Fuel Treatment, we have not experienced any problems generating enough heat at high production rates.

Stack testing was done in March for compliance, with no major problems. Hydrocarbons and fluorides were low. During my 7 months, we have had no down time related to fuel oil problems or burner gun problems created by the fuel oil.

In conclusion, I believe that Xtreme Fuel Treatment has made a significant difference in the operation of the burner and plant operations.

The Purpose of this letter is to state that we a ken Racing have used Xtreme Fuel Treatment (Combustion Catalyst – Burn Rate Modifier & Lubricant) and found many favorable results.

“Having reviewed the environmental test results, the field carbon mass data, and the plant performance, I feel the following conclusions may be drawn.

Greater burn efficiency was achieved during the treated test than during the untreated test.

It took an additional 0.39 GPT to heat the product with the untreated oil, thus a 9.7% reduction in fuel consumption was realized during the treated test. The carbon mass test showed a 70% reduction in volatile hydrocarbons reaching the stack with the treated fuel vs. the untreated fuel. These tests confirm the earlier findings that the treated fuel yielded more BTU/lb than the untreated.

Improved environmental conditions were achieved with the improved combustion of fuel.

The reduction of unburned fuel in the gas stream improved opacity and lowered the stack temperature.

This allowed for better gas stream scrubbing as shown in the environmental emissions test. The actual emissions numbers for these tests are not for publication. However, it can be stated that the treated test had a greater potential for fluoride evolution than the untreated test, but had a 20.1% lower emissions under the same scrubber conditions. This confirms the earlier observations on fuel conversion with the improved flame characteristics with the treated fuel.

Improved potential for increasing production rates. Due to the Potential to Emit (PTE) for Fuel Oil, the granular plant is BTU/hr limited. The standard practice is to assign 015 mm BTU/gal for the redefined oil used. The more fuel usage the treated fuel will support 3% on average more product rate than the untreated oil.

Lowered Cost. The savings in fuel cost is obvious. The hidden cost savings in the reduction of burner nozzle replacements, combustion chamber repairs, and tank cleaning are there, but yet to be defined.

“My company began using Xtreme Fuel Treatment. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the Syntek Distributors for making us aware of this product and giving us the opportunity to try it.

At the onset Syntek Distributors agreed to a protocol and a set of requirements that Xtreme Fuel Treatment must meet to be considered successful and cost effective. After completing a three month test, Syntek Distributors put together a report to document the results. We appreciate your professionalism in conducting the test and documenting the test results. Below are examples of typical results during the first several treatments of Xtreme Fuel Treatment or XFT. In most cases, 1 of 4 things will happen:

Fuel economy will immediately increase upon initial use and continue to increase until it levels off. This happens in large percentage of vehicles. XFT immediately improves the quality and burn rate of the fuel. Also, the improvements in engine function, cleanliness, and lubrication add to the overall increase in fuel efficiency.
You will see no noticeable change during the first few treatments, and then fuel economy will slowly, steadily increase until it levels off. This lack of initial performance can be due to a number of factors including: The initial engine cleaning process, horsepower usage, driving pattern changes, weather conditions, loads, factory fuel blends, air-conditioning, etc.
Fuel economy will decrease for the first tank or two, then steadily increase over time until it levels off. Occasionally this will happen and is due to the initial cleaning process in dirty engines. Also, some vehicle’s computers take time to adjust to the better flow of fuel and improved economy.
Fuel economy will go up immediately, drop for a tank or two, and then steadily increase over time until it levels off. Your vehicle takes immediate advantage of the better burning fuel. Then, as XFT works to clean the sludge and carbon build-up out of the engine, your fuel economy can decrease during the initial cleaning process.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Xtreme Fuel Treatment (XFT) is based on a chemistry that happens when added to the fuel. This chemistry happens every time. It is working all the time. XFT is not selective about when it works. It always improves the burn rate of the fuel. It always helps clean and lubricate engines, etc. The differing initial results are determined from the differing conditions of the engine, and other outside factors as stated above. True calculating tests are done with the same vehicle, with the same driver, on the same routes, with the same load, with the same fuel. There are multiple tests like this available. Is Xtreme Fuel Treatment a Scam?

Who says Xtreme Fuel Treatment is a scam? They are those who didn’t even use it, or those who have used other fuel additives before but the products didn’t work for them, or those who just think there’s no single fuel additive that will ever work in their vehicle.

You may have heard that fuel additives don’t work or that they will void an engine’s warranty, but for your information, an act of congress says it won’t affect your warranty. See below

Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (P.L. 93-637) is a United States Federal Law (15 U.S.C. 2301 et seq.) enacted in 1975.

It is the federal statute that governs warranties on consumer products. The legislative history indicates that the purpose of the Act is to make warranties on consumer products more readily understood and enforceable and to provide the Federal Trade Commission with means to better protect consumers.

Vehicle manufacturers are not allowed to void the vehicle warranty just because aftermarket parts or additives are used on or in the vehicle. The only time a new vehicle warranty can be voided is if an aftermarket part has been installed or used and it can be proven that its use is responsible for the warranty claim. In this circumstance the aftermarket parts liability insurance would provide coverage. If a dealer denies a warranty claim involving an implied or expressed new warranty and you require assistance, you should contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

It is common that some engine manufacturers will assert that the use of certain additives that are designed to do such things as act as a pour point depressant, a cetane enhancer, a combustion improver, a biocide, or a lubricity agent, etc. may prove useful to the overall performance of the engine.

It’s true, many products don’t do what they claim and many are ineffective. But let me set your mind at ease about Xtreme Fuel Treatment (XFT). Years of research, data, and practical use has proven XFT to be highly effective. After all, there is a reason that these large companies won’t go without it. Why would they continue using it year after year if it didn’t work! The benefits are unmistakable and quantifiable, and we have example after example of its effectiveness.

XFT is a time-tested and patented fuel treatment. The following statements from the patent show the reason why this product is invented:

“In the past, fuel has been treated to improve combustion efficiency and to protect fireside surfaces from high temperature corrosion and carbon-containing scale build up. Typical additive packages have been used based on oil soluble organometallic compounds of manganese in fuel. Unfortunately, the compounds used previously were extremely toxic and consequently difficult to store and handle.”

First, let’s differentiate Network Marketing from Multilevel Marketing (MLM).

Multi-level marketers make their money by introducing others into their programs as distributors. They are then paid a commission on the revenue that the person they introduced brings in. This continues as more and more people are added to the downline.

MLM vs Traditional Business

In brief, MLM, also known as Multi Level Marketing or Network Marketing is simply a "system" for distributing product. Every business has a product to sell and when the product is sold to the market place, money is made. In a traditional business, whether it's retail, construction, food or what have you, when the product is sold, that's the end of the marketing system. Before that product is sold, however, it must go through many hands which jacks up the price of the product you are marketing.

Let's say you had a 5 and dime store. Remember those? Let's say you have a cereal you are selling in your 5 and dime store. Before that box of cereal gets to the end consumer, there are advertising costs, manufacturing costs, a sales person (or distributors) cost of convincing you to purchase that product to put on your shelf and each person in this line of production must earn money. That box of cereal that you are selling costs the manufacturer about 50 cents to make BUT, when you add on the manufacturers costs for production and advertising, then you add on the sales persons commissions they make in convincing you to put that product on your shelf and the end result is a 50 cent product that sells for $3.00 so everyone in the line can make money. Who pays for all these people's salaries to get that product to you? You do. To keep the end cost down on that product, quality may sometimes be sacrificed.

Are you familiar with wholesale stores like Sam's Club or Costco's? What these stores do is buy the product direct from the manufacturer, cutting out the middle man, and then sell the product directly to the market place at a reduced price.

Owning an MLM or multi level marketing business is in some ways very similar to owning a wholesale store like Sam's Club or Costco's. In MLM, you are buying directly from the manufacturer, cutting out the middle man therefore, increasing your commissions and/or the quality of the product.

Just think, if you could buy your cereal directly from the manufacturers warehouse, how much do you think you'd really pay for that product. The only downside is you'd probably have to buy cases and cases (Like those wholesale stores) to be able to buy that product direct.

Now, here's what makes MLM different from a Traditional business.

In that wholesale store, they "hire" employees and pay them an hourly salary to market their product. No matter how much product that employee markets, they earn that salary. Because you have "employees", you are responsible for paying taxes, insurance and other incentives and this expense is figured into the total selling price of that box of cereal.

If you are the employee, say a supervisor, and you train a new employee to market that product, you get a pat on the back, the wholesale store gets the expense and the profit that this new employee creates. The more employees you train, the more expenses and profit the wholesale company creates.

In MLM, we are all "wholesale" business owners. We are the Sam's Club and Costco's owners. We buy direct from the manufacturer and market our wares to the public. We usually don't have the overhead like taxes and insurance, the headaches of having employees that only care about making a paycheck. What we do have however is the tax breaks only a home business owner can earn because our "store" is a dedicated room in our home. We also take on the advertising expense (just like those wholesale stores) and we train others to market our product with the biggest difference being, we don't pay the salary to this new trainee.

In MLM, we all work on commissions. We get paid for production only. When we successfully market our product to the public, we earn money. When we teach others to do the same, we earn royalties or "mailbox money".

If you "hired" someone to come in and help you market your product, you will be obligated to pay them at least a minimum hourly salary, whether or not they produce a sale of your product. This is a cost that comes out of your pocket, no matter what. When you have an "employee", again, you're also responsible for the taxes and any other expenses of having this employee, whether or not they produce a profit for your company.

In MLM (multi level marketing) or NWM (network marketing), you don't technically hire someone like you do in a traditional business but you share the opportunity with others who want to learn how to buy direct from the manufacturer and how to market the product to the public themselves. You teach and train this person to duplicate what you've done. Yes, YOU invest your time and energy in training others and they in turn decide what they are going to do with that knowledge. Many people you come in contact with will NOT be the right people to teach and train. They would rather be the salary earning employee than the business owning employer. That's just the way it is. (So be careful and choosy about who you offer to teach and train.)

How you market your product to the public is no different than any other business out there. You need to let people know you have a business and a product you feel they may benefit from. You must also understand that not everyone is going to want to use your product, just like you don't shop at every single store in town either. If you went out and recommended your favorite restaurant in town to everyone you ran into, do you honestly believe that everyone you made the recommendation to would go to that restaurant? And if you didn't tell anyone that you were in business, do you really believe you could make a profit?

One final distinction you must understand.

MLM is a profession as well as an industry. Any high paying profession takes training. Many times, years of training. Your job, when you first get started, is to market your product to the public to create immediate cashflow. The more you market, or recommend your product, the more cashflow you create. This is one of the BIG side benefits of this profession.

Recommend to a lot of people, make a lot of money.
Recommend to a little people, make little money.
Recommend to no people, make no money.

While you are recommending your product, you also need to be a student of this profession. Any Doctor, Lawyer or high paying professional MUST go to school for years and years to learn HOW to become a professional in that industry. If you decided today you wanted to join the Medical industry, does that mean in 30 days you should be ready and knowledgeable enough to operate on someone and save their life? How long do you honestly think it will take to learn HOW to operate?

Treat this profession as you would any other high paying profession and you'll earn, in time, just like those other high paying professionals with the biggest difference being, your income will be what we call "walk away income".

Some people confuse pyramid and Ponzi schemes with legitimate multilevel marketing. Multilevel marketing (aka network marketing) programs are known as MLM's, and unlike pyramid or Ponzi schemes, MLM's have a real product to sell. More importantly, MLM's actually sell their product to members of the general public, without requiring these consumers to pay anything extra or to join the MLM system. MLM's may pay commissions to a long string of distributors, but these commission are paid for real retail sales, not for new recruits.

You're going to work some where, some how for the next 30-40 years anyway. Why not learn how to work smarter, not harder. Become a professional in an industry, master that industry, and earn a professionals income, live a professionals lifestyle. What else have you got to look forward to.

Let’s talk about what to look for when choosing the right MLM business that you will make you as successful as possible. There are so many MLM companies till this day that are doing very well. Your job is to choose which company is best for you. By doing this you will have to do your homework and research the company of your choice before joining. Find out what type of product you will be marketing, try to do some research on the compensation plan, and etc... Every MLM business I know of have some type of residual payment plan. If you don't know what residual income means this is when you do something one time and continue to get paid over and over again.
