SO according to this event on Facebook (SEE HERE), July is Atheist Blasphemy Month.

And here is what this event organizer has to say...
"The religious community consistently seeks to ban images that are offensive to them. Do you have a religious symbol that offends you? A cross? A star of David? Islamic Sickle? You can use the same venue to report an offensive image as the religious do, so use this time to exercise your rights as a member of the Facebook Community."

Now, I don't believe one group of individuals should hate on another for personal gain, which I know is usually the major agenda for alot of religious organizations (not necessarily their congregation). But the Atheist community is a minority community, and just like the gay community, needs to stand up for their rights. But Atheist is very specific, and there is a much larger group here to consider...all of the people that don't believe in God or at least don't worship one or those who don't subscribe to any religion at all...basically the "undecideds", the "i don't knows", and the "i don't cares". What are they to do this month?

Well of course, I'll tell you. You exercise your rights as well. If someone is stopping you from living your life in a peaceful and free way, exercise your rights as a neutral party individual and speak out for your right to not choose, or your right to not subscribe to a particular belief system or agenda.

Since YouTube (a private company) banned my video, clearly for it's religious context, then I want to exercise my right of free speech and bring to everyone's attention that YouTube (aka Google) has a hidden religious agenda and they are another organization that is a part of the problem and not a part of the solution. And that is my right. But it is also YOUR right to be able to view this video and judge for yourself. Why not just have the video have an 18+ warning on it?

Well well our little boy is growing up... The Pope learned a first word back in may when describing the hundreds of sexual abuse allegations that have befallen the church (Read about THAT word HERE)

But TODAY...now as the outer bits of the kingdom start to crumble, Bendydick learns a new word "Outrage!". Yes the Pope is OUTRAGED that the graves of two archbishops were raided as part of the entire police investigation in Belgium this week. So... Hundreds, maybe thousands, of children, women, and men have been beaten, mentally and sexually abused from officials and holy men within the church in the past 100 years, (let's not even discuss what the Catholic Church did before that, we don't have all century) and now that two of your people get violated after they are already dead, you are outraged. Well Well, that certainly is interesting and I'm sure not infuriating at all to any for the victims who simply asked for an apology from you, and they never got it.

Popey, if you believe in Karma or at least the Golden Rule, there is alot more violation in your future, because you got one major ass-fucking coming your way.

With the Pope once again confirming his ignorance by proclaiming that same sex marriage and abortion are the most "Insidious and dangerous" threats to the world today, one has to wonder if the Nazi quips leveled against him are actually pretty on the money. Hitler himself drew comparisons with his own push across Europe and the way Manifest Destiny was enacted in the America's. A large part of this was the proselytizing of the Catholic message, coupled of course with the threat of death if those being preached to did not comply.

The culmination of the westward thrust came during the 1890s, when the final Indian wars were over and the threat of the natives was made redundant. We are now 120 years on from that point and while the Catholic church may have lost its warring mentality with the onset of widespread democracy, it still holds a worrying influence on the susceptible minds of the believing public.

Imagine a Nazi regime that had won and maintained its influence of belief in the blue eyed purity of the Aryan race. 100 years on from world war II, in an evolved world - would this Nazi party of future times resemble the Catholic church of our time?. We can look at the Nazi policies as outlandish, but they are easily comparable to Catholic church policies spanning the last 500 years in their perverse quest for twisted justice.

The bible is so full of holes and so wonderfully contradictory that if the Pope understood that his organization, with all its flaws, was very much of this world and not based in the numinous, he could make steps to turn this debacle around.

For instance Mathew 26:24 has Jesus stating that "Woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born." This passage is surely advocating abortion, if we are to utilize those same interpreting tactics of traditional Catholicism. Furthermore any version of the "love thy neighbor" theme could be construed as an endorsement of gay marriage.

However this has never been about bible interpretation, or the word of God, it is about power, and money, and the Pope's very huge, earthly ego which makes him believe he actually is infallible from the persecution of public opinion and stately laws.

Thankfully, those of us who are not drawn to such whimsical tales of yore, can see this archaic belief system teetering towards the beginning of the end. We must also understand to facilitate this downfall it may be better at this time to take a more softly softly approach to ushering people away. A helping hand in the opposite direction of sacred sperm and Sunday mass, and not too much emphasis on the parishioners rather doltish decisions of the past.

YAY!!! Aw that's such a big word for such a little guy. Although Terror is nothing new to the Catholic Church, at least he used it in the context of describing the rality he has seen regarding the abuse "scandals".

Well... let me just say..REALLY? Really Pope? It's suddely terrifying now, but it wasnt so Terrifying when you were privy to the abuse and signing letters, and assisting in transfers or preists >you knew were molesting children to new cities so they could then molest new children for a while until they got caught again. And it also wasn't so terrifying to you when your closest friends and other high holy men were outed as part of a gay prostitution ring with teen boys. But now all of a sudden, it's terrifying.

Hmmm, Maybe you're terrified that you're about to be out of a job. Maybe you're terrified of not living in a palace under the guise that you are the man on earth whom is above all others and has a private chat line directly to God. Maybe you're terrified of people like me, calling yu out on your bullshit! Maybe you're afraid that other religions will rally behind an anti-theist such as me, to watch you go down to strenthen their own communities. Maybe you're terrified, that since we all found out that Mother Theresa didnt believe in God, that you don't have a miracle or a new Saint to throw at us to distract from the truth, Maybe you're afraid of your deep, dark, dispicable and disguisting secrets getting discovered as well...and I'm sure you've got some good ones. Well baby Bene, here's a new word... CLUSTERFUCK. You're sitting in the middle of one right now.

Well let me help you. Say 10 Haily Mary's and 2 Our Father's for every time a child, or any person, was abused, raped, sodomized, used, beaten, or worse. And then, I'm sure God will forgive you. He always does. But will they? And will we?

Well Happy May 7th...which is apparently NATIONAL MASTURBATION DAY. (It's May 6th according to one set of atheist bloggers, but everyone else seems to be in agreement for the 7th) AND May is National Masturbation MONTH! That's right folks!! A whole MONTH of Masturbation starting tomorrow!

Now many of you are probably already celebrating national maturbation month...some by choice, others not so much...like married people. But hey! There's nothing wrong with masturbation. I quite enjoy it. I like it alone, or with a friend or seven. It can be just as good as sex (especially with a friend) and you dont have to worry about pesky things like STD's or creepy babies. You also dont have to worry about relationships, or mood swings, or feelings, or your parents, or school, or your bills, or a deity of some sort, nope. Nada. Not even the recession can slow masturbation down. It's even more carefree and enjoyable than medical marijuana. In fact, it's so great, they made a holiday for it. YEP! Happy masturbation day folks. Lube up those hands, or your favorite mechanical or old school toy and get going!!

BUT WAIT! Just like everything in life, balance is key. If you are new to this...you may need a few cautionary warnings:

1. You CAN masturbate too much! 10 times a day aint gonna kill ya but it can give you ladies an infection and can cause irritation and chaving for men and women. So keep it to a reasonable 1-4 times a day and listen to your own body. If it hurts or burns alot, it's probably time to quit.

As you can see the Times rather sensationalized the "Arrest The Pope Story" story, however Richard Dawkins was instrumental in setting in motion proceedings to entertain the idea of legal action against the pope.

RICHARD DAWKINS, the atheist campaigner, is planning a legal ambush to have the Pope arrested during his state visit to Britain “for crimes against humanity”.

Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, the atheist author, have asked human rights lawyers to produce a case for charging Pope Benedict XVI over his alleged cover-up of sexual abuse in the Catholic church.

The pair believe they can exploit the same legal principle used to arrest Augusto Pinochet, the late Chilean dictator, when he visited Britain in 1998.

The Pope was embroiled in new controversy this weekend over a letter he signed arguing that the “good of the universal church” should be considered against the defrocking of an American priest who committed sex offenses against two boys. It was dated 1985, when he was in charge of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which deals with sex abuse cases.

Benedict will be in Britain between September 16 and 19, visiting London, Glasgow and Coventry, where he will beatify Cardinal John Henry Newman, the 19th-century theologian.

Dawkins and Hitchens believe the Pope would be unable to claim diplomatic immunity from arrest because, although his tour is categorized as a state visit, he is not the head of a state recognized by the United Nations.

They have commissioned the barrister Geoffrey Robertson and Mark Stephens, a solicitor, to present a justification for legal action.

The lawyers believe they can ask the Crown Prosecution Service to initiate criminal proceedings against the Pope, launch their own civil action against him or refer his case to the International Criminal Court.

Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, said: “This is a man whose first instinct when his priests are caught with their pants down is to cover up the scandal and damn the young victims to silence.”

Hitchens, author of God Is Not Great, said: “This man is not above or outside the law. The institutionalized concealment of child rape is a crime under any law and demands not private ceremonies of repentance or church-funded payoffs, but justice and punishment.

Last year pro-Palestinian activists persuaded a British judge to issue an arrest warrant for Tzipi Livni, the Israeli politician, for offenses allegedly committed during the 2008-09 conflict in Gaza. The warrant was withdrawn after Livni canceled her planned trip to the UK.

“There is every possibility of legal action against the Pope occurring,” said Stephens. “Geoffrey and I have both come to the view that the Vatican is not actually a state in international law. It is not recognized by the UN, it does not have borders that are policed and its relations are not of a full diplomatic nature.”

My Easter Letter to the Catholic Church - Sexual Abuse: A Worldwide Epidemic

OMG the shit has really hit the fan with Our Father who Art in Rome.

Sex Scandals abound the countrysides of Ireland, the United States, Germany and more, as the Catholic Church tries to urgently scurry into action to stop more victimizing...oh I mean make changes to their policies...ur I mean write letters. That's right, thousands upon thousands of children, women, and men all over the whole have been and continue to be molested, sodomized, raped, bullied, mentally & physically abused by their patriarchal authority figures and mentors and all that the Pope can think to do is...write a letter. Well this is MY letter.

Not only is this traumatizing and ruining the lives of thousands of people, but it's creating an abuse cycles that will be hard broken. Trauma creates trauma. Many people who are sexually abused (on average 1 in 4 people), will in some way continue the abuse cycle onto their children, in their relationships with lovers and with their friends, and many form drug & alcohol addictions to cope with the trauma and un-channeled anger and feelings of worthlessness and despair.

So... If I was the pillar of a religious organization, one who preaches to be "the word of God", and your god is an awesome, loving, and/or jealous God. I think that after hearing one instance of such abuse, I would be so sickened. Outraged that a "man of the cloth" had abused his power, had performed things that we call sinful & heinous, had performed what the church would call homosexual acts that we condemn, and had also performed all of these things to God's children, the Lambs of God. I would be compelled by fury of God himself to not only deliver an immediate worldwide speech to my congregation, condemning this man and immediately excommunicate him, but also to punish him as biblical but as legal as possible. A letter...decades, years, weeks, or days after such event...doesn't quite suffice in my book.

Now. It's up to the people. Put down your Health Care banner, and pick up this one. I implore you. If you are a Catholic. Ask yourself WHY. WHY am I a part of this organization? That's all it is. A Non-Profit Organization that rapes, beats, sodomizes, intimidates, steals, & murders. And if it's because you are afraid to die? Guess what. You're gonna die. We all are. We are all going to fucking die. Get over it. Live your life NOW. Be a good Person, be kind to all, do your best to reach your goals, have empathy for people, and just do your fucking best. If you need to pray, PRAY! It's also called Meditation or Positive thinking and it works. You have the power to create your own destiny and make decisions about everything you do. If you're a serial killer or sociopath, that's another story, but don't worry, we'll find you eventually. Or maybe You should stay in the Catholic Church and everyone else can leave.

Still not convinced? Still want to go pray in the brick building on Sunday? If this helps YOU be a better person, then so be it. If you believe what you believe, you don't need this church. A building or an organization doesn't make you go to heaven, if you believe in heaven, God does. But you wont stop. You'll continue to go, just as your parents did, and their parents. You'll continue to say the chants, bow to the men in the robes, and look up in fear of the big wooden cross. Hoping that one day, this will all pay off. The ultimate spin on the religious roulette wheel. In that case, Happy Easter and Don't forget to bring the kids.

Moraity without Religion or God?

This seems pretty obvious to me as I believe all people are products of the world around them. With or without God you become what you and the world around you have created you to be. If you were taught empathy and were not traumatized during the early stages of your life, you are not suffering from any psychosis, you probably understand what it means to hurt someone and how that would feel if you were hurt, therefore you likely have good basic morals. However, apparently, there are a large amount of people who think that you need religion or God to give you this knowledge...even though more people kill in the name of God than anything else.

Airing live via the web in about an hour from now is LifeChurch.tv 's online church ceremony. Yes, that's correct. Church On-Line!! Wow. This does make being a Christian slightly more appealing. You mean not only do I NOT have to get up early on a Sunday, but I don't even have to get dressed or leave my house?! I can attend church in my Pajamas or even Naked if I want! Holy Cow! It seems too good to be true.

While I admit that the whole idea is kinda strange at first, it IS actually a great idea. If musicians, and even the president have used the internet to reach out millions, why wouldn't religion want to do the same?! Rev Run, (former member of the Hip Hop group RUN DMC turned Reverend) has been using technology for sometime now to reach out to his fans...um er I mean congregation. He offers inspirational text messages called Rev's Words of Wisdom, that Rev himself text messages to thousands daily! I mean everyone can use a pick me up, some encouraging words every now and then.

So what's wrong with that? Nothing.... I think...

We all look for a path to follow and a guide to help us get there. But staying balanced is what life's all about. So basing your entire life based of of one set of word from one direction, can be very dangerous. If you read my blog every day and only did what I told you to do, no matter what degrees or qualifications or experience I had, it's still not a balanced way to live your life.

So WHO is behind this "Life Church" ?

I did some digging...
Firstly, LifeChurch.tv is on a very gorgeous website fun on the same expensive development platforms as the site for Britney Spears & The White House. Kudos to their marketing team. But being a fellow marketer myself notice some clear "red flags", as a potential follower. Main Red Flag - Lack of information. There is very little about who the cite is actually run by, and what exactly they believe. Even the page explaining what they believe, is very vague to seemly keep a broad appeal. It's also semi difficult to find out WHO they are.

But it does say it eventually on the site... If you look for it. They are actually The Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) . Er what? who? I've never heard of them! Well according to their Other website they are a church "founded in 1855 by Swedish Immigrants" (again very vague) and they are practice based on the following: "The Evangelical Covenant Church has its roots in historical Christianity, the Protestant Reformation, the biblical instruction of the Lutheran Church of Sweden, and the great spiritual awakenings of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries." hmmm... okay well at least they are based in older more-established religions and not completely made up like Scientology...

Oh yes Scientology... well they ARE taking a few cues from them. Along with the beefed up new website, press & marketing push, they are also going after celebrity endorsements. Even though their entire worldwide congregation is only 278,000 (according to them), they've already got some notable followers. Their out-of-the-closet congregation so far includes, embers from the band, The Fray (I knew I hated them...) David Welsh and Ben Wysocki, AND Miss America 2008 Kirsten Haglund. Wow! That's a pretty good start. But still only 278,00 members and only 105 missionaries. Scientology claims to have 8 million followers worldwide & 3.5 million in the US, but surveys have found at most only 55,000 followers. Oh but we'll get to them another time! Well maybe this website is the Big Break this church needs...only time will tell.

Radio Gaga - The New Lows of American Censorship

So I was driving around beautiful southern California the other day, "jamming" to some free FM radio (ONLY b/c I forgot my iPod) and taking pictures of myself while driving, and I heard the song "Birthday Sex" by Jeremih. As I listened, (I had already tried the other stations, only commercials or Nickelback on) getting ready to do my in-the-car-sex-dance to the chorus, the station bleeped the word SEX! I was shocked! (Now I HAD to listen!) Yep they bleeped it from the entire song! Are you serious?? I've heard this song on other stations in full regalia. I mean, really? Imagine if they bleeped that word Sex from other songs: "I wanna ___ you up" or "Let's talk about ____" Or marvin gaye's "____ual healing". C'mon America!!! Let us PLEASE move forward at some point. When can common sense enter our society? That's all I ask for.

I mean, who on earth would make a decision to bleep the word SEX from a song who's entire lyrical content is about "ridin' with passion" & improving "between your legs"? The announcer (media darling, Ryan Seacrest) even says the whole title when introducing the song, so why bleep the song itself? I mean as head programmer for a major southern California Top 40/Pop & Hip Hop Hit Station, WHY would you choose to do that? I mean if you think the song is perverse, then why play it at all? Hmm let's put some things together here.

So after about .005 sec of googling, I discovered that KIIS FM ..uh I mean that station I heard that song on... is owned by Clear Channel. Clear Channel for anyone that doesn't listen to Howard Stern, has deemed themselves as the social conscience of radio & media. They've been the masterminds behind such great moments in irrational censorship history such as:

The List of Songs you can't play on the radio after 9-11
A list which circulated to broadcasters by Clear Channel, which included Tom Petty's "Free Fallin", Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World", & the ENTIRE Rage Against the Machine catalog! I guess they didn't want people to think it was a Wonderful World...I guess they wanted everyone to remain afraid, and then keep them so afraid that they wouldn't want to Rise Against...the Machine. Think about it.

Zero Tolerance Indecency Policy / Killing Howard Stern
A self governed policy after the Janet Jackson & Justin Timberlake Superbowl Nipple scandal 2004. Clear Channel declared that there would be no "indecent" material allowed on the air. They fired their own employees, including popular and high-profile hosts in a number of cities & Howard Stern was dropped from six Clear Channel owned stations in Florida, California, Pennsylvania, New York and Kentucky. Howard Stern was able to fight back by getting picked up with Clear Channel rival Viacom who brought Stern's show back to those markets and sued Clear Channel for $10 million for breaking of contracts and non-payment of licensing fees due to the dropping of Stern's show. Currently Clear Channel is continuing "to battle salacious content on the airwaves" (AH Ha!) AND also makes every employee take an online training to ensure they understand the difference between indecency and obscenity. Hmm SO if it's an obscenity then it's o.k. for the airwaves? So is the word SEX is indecent or obscene? I guess it's obscene b/c it just got bleeped. had they deemed it indecent I guess they would have tried to fire Jeremih!

To what extent will they go to Censor and shield our children's eyes and ears from SATAN? Perhaps, this...

But what's this? The caped crusaders of morality city hold a yearly Christmas contest (since 2004) called "Jingle Jugs"???

What a classy name! AND an amazing product you can buy as well - CLICK HERE, formerly known as "Breast Christmas Ever" & "Holiday Hooters", that allow women to compete to win breast implants! And they EVEN provide for no legal recourse in the event of malpractice. Wow!!! What saints they are. Really truly doing God's good work. Why don't they just call it "Jugs from Jesus"? That way it will include BOTH of their favorite things. Oh but THEN... Clear Channel distanced itself from the contest, with spokesperson Jennifer Gery stating, "It's not a Clear Channel-sponsored contest; we empower our local manager to make programming decisions." Really? They do? But then why the concept "obviously floated to stations by the network in the first place". Some coincidence that four Clear Channel stations thought of it at the same time. Regardless, the contest still exists to this day.

Clear Channel has also been known to do things for the sake of the political parties that suit their agenda. Such as censoring opinions critical of George W. Bush and other Republicans & rejecting the display of an Democratic anti-war billboard (for which they got sued and lost). Besides being rumored to be in the palms of the Bush Administration, they recently agreed to lease space in the United Kingdom to the British National Party. This caused controversy and only helps fuel the previous rumors about their credibility in the United States.

Let us review. Why was "Birthday Sex" censored? Well the radio stations are owned by a hidden agenda, right-wing, likely christian, AND misogynistic conglomerate. So again why even play the song? Only comes down to one thing...Money. Now this, THIS is the thing that gets me every time with people like this. They say they have their morals, and then they go and fuck little boys, they say they have standards, but when it comes to making a dollar they will do whatever it takes. Oh but not a 100%! They still were able to fight indecency in a single bound, by bleeping the word SEX. So it's not like they caved in completely. They still did the proper, decent, thing to do...RIGHT...

When will the stupidity of radio and the American media end?
Perhaps with the end of hypocritical & vacuous companies Clear Channel OR... with the end of radio itself.
