Chris Georgenes Completes the Solutions Short Film Project for Focal Press!

Chris Georgenes completed the Solutions animated short, using Adobe Flash, for Focal Press, using Flash. Matadorstudio Storyboarded the short film a couple of months ago using Toonboom Storyboard Pro 2. I'd say Chris did a Great job, and I think it looks Fantastic!!!

I am still searching for True 1940's look. With Baggy pants that where raised uo there chests, and of course Suspenders... can't forget the suspenders

This one is getting warmer to what I am looking for but not quite there yet.

These sketches are for my Storyboards. Instead of drawing the faces over and over again I can just create templates out of them in Toonboom Storyboard Pro2, and use them over and over again.

It didn't take long to get a return on my $400 Investment on Toonboom Storyboard Pro2. I was contacted by Chris Georgenes about doing some Storyboards for a Short animated Film he was getting ready to do for Focal Press. The short is called "We have your Solutions". Below are the Storyboards I came up with along with Chris' Animated Short.

Below is yet another (rough) re-design of my beloved character Eric the Red. This is his 5th re-design, and I think I am going to stick with it because it fits what I had in mind from the beginning. I plan to make some animated episodes based on him.

ToonBoom Animate WalkCycle

Over the past 3-4 months I have had my head buried into Toonboom animate. After spending a couple of weeks learning to rig a character, the next stage in my slow learning process is to learn to Animate in the program and what better way to start than with the always fun walkcycle.

Next stage is learning to use the Multiplane camera. Which I will probably just add onto this walkcycle.
