2011-06-20T03:34:00.000-07:00

So im not a massive fan but i did grow up with the books and im looking forward to the final film. It will be the end of an era for many people around the world. However i found this site... http://www.pottermore.com/ which is a new official site from series creator JK Rowling. Possible sequel series? Intriguing to say the least. Any fans with some thoughts?

Swearing = illegal

2011-06-15T06:08:00.000-07:00

There's legislation trying to be passed in my local city to make public swearing illegal. Police officers will have the right to fine up to $240 for 'offences' sometimes even on the spot.

This Chilean ash cloud is passing over the pacific ocean towards Australia as we speak and could reach our borders in under 2 days. Lucky i dont have any flights planned...is anyone put out by the eruption or have thoughts?

Fender Telecaster

2011-06-12T03:03:00.000-07:00

So a new american standard telecaster has come my way as a belated birthday present. Its fairly awesome and is in cola-red which may sound like a really shit colour but its actually really nice and a little rustic. If anyone knows anything about guitars they'd like this beauty pickups get a really nice clear distinction between the neck one and very bright sounding bridge. Just thought i'd like people know - its a very nice guitar to consider buying if you like fenders.

Game choices

2011-06-09T03:14:00.001-07:00

So i want to buy a new game but i can't decide between Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or LA. Noire. Both are free roam and fairly large as far as storyline goes. Both good graphics, both of their predecessors have won awards...i can't decide. Thoughts?

Parade

2011-05-27T06:39:00.000-07:00

Awesome musical by Jason Robert Brown based on true events surrounding the murder of a little girl in Atlanta, Georgia in 1913. Great musical with a variety of music and superb story.

Misfits

2011-05-22T04:04:00.000-07:00

So im behind but oh well. I've started watching Misfits...so far so good. Loving the black humour and since Skins has gone well bad I think this is the best British drama i've seen in a while. Opinions though?

Recording Mic

2011-05-17T04:11:00.000-07:00

Im wanting to buy a new microphone from home recording and i was considering the Audio-Technica AT2020 but if anyone knows anything about entry to mid level mics leave a comment or just your thoughts. Cheers

2011-05-08T00:39:00.000-07:00

Ive been doing a lot reading into the Khmer Rouge and Cambodian Genocide and its a highly interesting topic matter despite its horrible consequences. Im looking forward to seeing "Enemies of the People" which is a 2009 documentary about the so-called Killing Fields.

Osama...

2011-05-05T00:55:00.000-07:00

Was it right for the US Navy Seals to kill Osama or should he have had a fair trial? Also is it right to celebrate the death of another human being? thoughts...
