Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer | Engagement Photos at Sand Harbor with Tracy & Von

We spent a bright, sunny, and stunningly gorgeous day in Lake Tahoe with Tracy and Von at Sand Harbor, where they grew up together and also where Von was a lifeguard! It was the true definition of a perfect day. We all walked around Sand Harbor through the nature trails and we had a lovely time taking pictures of a great couple. I just LOVE Tracy and Von’s love story. You see..Tracy and Von attended high school together in Incline Village…same class and everything, but they didn’t find their connection until 25 years later – at the gym! What are the odds?? I think it’s so romantic and kind of magical. Von proposed to Tracy at La Caille Restaurant, over Christmas in Salt Lake City…and now they will be getting married at Arrowcreek Country Club in Reno on June 22nd. Matt and I are so excited for their wedding…we absolutely can’t wait!

Reno Wedding Photography at the Nevada Museum of Art and UNR – 2nd Shooting with Courtney Aaron

The Nevada Museum of Art. Beautifully cool. And for a wedding? Even better. I love the angles and clean, beautiful lines that the architecture and design has to offer. Then throw in the bridal party photos at the University of Nevada, Reno – which also happens to be one of my most favorite places for photography in general – so it was especially awesome for Reno wedding photography. These are my favorite shots from 2nd shooting this wedding for Courtney Aaron this summer – thanks for bringing me along, Courtney! Amy and James are an awesome couple and I super enjoyed hanging with the dudes while they got ready for the day. Check out those slick watches. And I was so in love with Amy’s dress and bouquet. And on top of all that, this wedding wins the award for “BEST Best Man Speech.” Seriously the funniest one I have ever heard. I would try and explain what was so funny, but I wouldn’t do it justice…you will just have to trust me!

PS. I love being a wedding photographer in Reno!!

Indiana and Chad decided to have us photograph their engagement in beautiful Auburn, CA – and we couldn’t be more blown away with what a perfect location Auburn makes for engagement photos! Indiana is from Auburn, so it made it extra special as well. We walked around Old Town and had a great time with these two. I love that Indiana and Chad are just really laid back and comfortable with each other. You can tell from the photos that they are just so in love, and they were so much fun to photograph! We are so happy they chose us as their Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer, and we absolutely can’t wait for their wedding in Tahoe City this fall!

Champagne, a barn, snow-capped mountains on a beautiful day, a gorgeous couple and a spunky golden retriever – what could make for better engagement photos? Beth and Craig, along with their super sassy pup, Roxy, traveled out to Verdi, NV to have us photograph their lovely engagement session in one of our favorite rustic areas in Northern Nevada, and we are so happy to share their beautiful photos with you. I love how Beth and Craig laugh together, and look so naturally in sync with one another.
