Mauro Picotto @ Alchemy Music Festival in the Country in Torino, Italy (Saturday, June 11th. 2011). Residents of Cavour have contributed to make this event happen. Farmers have moved their cows to create room. Even the Mayor has agreed to close schools to introduce younger people to dance music. The Alchemy Festival will not only introduce Italians to dance music. It will introduce people from all over the world to Italian culture. When on a clubbing holiday it can sometimes be difficult to take in some of the culture. Mauro Picotto will merge clubbing and culture together, effectively killing two birds with one stone.

It will feature the finest underground DJ's in the business. Set to grace us with top quality music will be Yousef of Circus Liverpool, the infamous Mark Broom, Italian music veteran Luca Morris, Swedish Christian Smith and Mauro himself. A nice blend of techno, house and electro will be like putting a brand new Soundtrack to a historic landmark.

In 2011 Mauro will release a new Album called "TwentyEleven" that will demonstrate his musical taste and creativity, confirming his place always at the top.

He is also in the process of organizing the first Alchemy Festival in Pinerolo near Turin, this will take place on the 11th of June 2011. The Alchemy festival will not only see top dj's and artist performing but will be also be the first festival in the world that will give the opportunity for new up and coming or even unknown artists and musicians to perform and show their talent to a large crowd live.

The town of Cavour in full festival fever / From the mayor Piergiorgio Bertone (Sindaco) down to the teenagers hanging out in the market square - everybody is counting down the days until June 11th. And with true Italian charm, it was Cavour's mayor who came up with the idea of featuring a professional photoshooting for the ladies. Mauro says they are not looking for a catwalk beauty but someone whose smile captivates and expresses the genuine beauty of the region and its people. The winner will be featured on the cover of a local magazine and will get a free professional photoshoot.

Nestled on the north side of the granite Rock of Cavour (Rocca di Cavour), this Piedmont town of 5,500 inhabitants has been a hidden treasure of medieval fortifications in the middle of a peaceful landscape - until now. The Alchemy Festival has changed all that. Google Alchemy Festival and Cavour today and pages of links lead you to Mauro's hometown at the heart of Piedmont. By next year, chances are the English Wikipedia entry will be expanded to include mention of it being the site of the first Italian open-air electronic music festival. This is also a tremendous opportunity for Mauro fans to meet him in his element. When he's not on stage, he's likely to be found picnicking on the grass together with his fiancée and three children (Insider tip: The wedding is planned for July 23rd in Ibiza!): "This is a new experience for everyone and new experiences make me feel alive. I am always learning. I think when I stop to learn I will get very old."

The Alchemy Festival: Travel and lodging information/ Free Buses will be running between the nearby city of Pinerolo (host city of the curling events and Paralympic tournaments at the 2006 Winter Olympics) throughout the day and night. Since Cavour offers only limitted overnight possibilities, Mauro recommends overnighting in Pinerolo, where festival visitors will find hotels and hostels. For those who just need a place to chill after the festival, there are lots of cafés and shady corners in Cavour and surrounding towns. The closest airport is in Turin. Tickets at the door from 25 to 30 euro for 2 days.

Mauro Picotto has released over 600 productions and numerous remixes, and to date he has sold over six million copies worldwide. He has played in best clubs with the most famous Djs, as well as having participated in all the major events, from Love Parade to Creamfields, MTV Festival, Winter Olympics in Turin, Ultra, Time Warp and Awakenings.

Alex Gaudino www.alexgaudino.com/ Begins his adventure in 1993 in the music business at the famous Flying Records and UMM.

In 1998 with the support of Giacomo Maiolini, owner of Time Records, Alex founds Rise Records, which soon becomes one of the most respectful European labels, signing hit records like The Tamperer and Black Legend (Alex is the only Italian A&R who had two # 1 in the UK sales chart ) and the super -hit of Robbie Rivera "Bang", which allowed him in 2000 to get the nomination as best European A&R at the European Music Awards in London.

In this period he increases also his activity as a producer with two singles in 2003 featuring big names such as Crystal Waters and Ultra Natè: the single "Destination Unknown" is played by all the most important deejays, including Pete Tong and Judge Jules and reached the top of the UK Buzz charts.

There is Alex touch also behind the projects Supacupa and Sambatucada (Gaudino da Costa) and his remix of "Is it cos I'm cool"by Mousse T. marks the summer 2004, and immediately after that 2005 sees the arrival of Lil' Love "Little Love", which was nomitated by Musica & Dischi as the best italian dance record of the year, played by Pete Tong in exclusive at the Nikky Beach in Miami during WMC 2005. The record is releases by Positiva in UK and reaches the top of the club charts, including the top of the chart of the famous DJ Magazine.

2006 begins with the remixes of Pete Tong & Chris Cox (Deep End), Mousse T. (Horny) and James Kakande (You You You-played by Pete Tong), and the year goes on with the releases on Ministry Of Sound of his single "Reaction" and on Hed Kandi of his project blue lipstick "Head Over Heels".

Zen Freeman www.zenfreeman.com/ British DJ based in Los Angeles most well known for playing high profile events around the world. At 14 years old Zen Freeman was making mix cassettes to entertain his friends on their bus journey from home town to school in the East Midlands of the UK. He moved to Los Angeles in 2001 where he continues to live and work as a DJ, producer and music supervisor and his "mix tapes" are now used by corporations like Chanel, Soho House Worldwide, Morgans Hotel Group, Weinstein Company and Next (clothing) to entertain their guests at chic events and Hollywood parties.

He is well known in the celebrity circuit and has become a DJ of choice among the rich and famous with an A-list clientele playing the likes of Elton John's Oscar party and Microsoft founder Paul Allen's ultra exclusive Cannes Film Festival and St Barts New Years parties. Mauro Picotto live at the 15th edition of the Dutch mega festival. The next saturday, August 14 ( Sloterpark - Amsterdam ) is the date to set aside. Lovelands will return to Amsterdam's Sloterpark, and are gearing up for a very commendable 15th outing this year. As this is a Dutch festival there will be no less than seven arenas for attendees to choose from, spanning the length and breadth of 4/4 styles; minimal to maximal.

The Fire! looks capable of drawing the biggest crowds, with Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, Sebastien Leger, Mauro Picotto all set to perform, although with Erick Morillo, Renato Cohen, Fedde Le Grand and Ron Carroll over on the T-Dansant Stage it'll be a close-run thing.

Saint Patrick's weekend Saturday 17th March 1996 saw the birth of arguably Ireland's most influential House Club. Lush! @ The Kelly's Complex in Portrush, County Antrim was born out of the ashes of the Legendary "Raves" @ Kelly's which had ran their course from 1992......

After a 3 month closure for a complete top to bottom refurb including: New Sound, Lights, Toilets, Bars, Decor in fact anything that could be changed was changed!

The Opening Night was a capacity sell out, and that set the tone for 10 years of weekly parties that would put some of the so called "World Famous Brands" to shame.....

With Resident DJ/Promoter Col Hamilton at the helm & a music policy of House/Prog/Tech & Trance the Lush! Dancefloor has rocked to pretty much every big name DJ in the world......From Sasha & Digweed to Roger Sanchez & Erick Morillo, from Paul Van Dyk & Tiesto to Carl Cox & Mauro Picotto and 100's in between, also along the way giving much needed exposure to a wealth of up & coming UK & Local DJs, many of whom have gone on to greater things...

Back in early 2008, Tiësto highlighted the opening of 808, with a record attendance sold out show. Now two years later, after two massive +4.000 attendance shows in Zen/Central World, we're bringing him back to 808 for a limited intimate show to celebrate the venue going into it's next phase.

Since it's opening, 808 has seen some of the biggest acts in the world on the decks, including: Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Steve Aoki, MSTKRFT, John Digweed, Laidback Luke, Boys Noize, Benny Benassi, Calvin Harris, Diplo, Dubfire, and Grandmaster Flash to just name a few.

Keeping in line with this legacy, but recognizing the higher and higher demands of clubbers these days, 808 will be revamped to a level unseen in Bangkok's clubbing history. On this night we'll offer a sneak preview of what's in store for the new 808, followed a few weeks after with the Grand opening!

Mauro Picotto: MySpace

Mauro Picotto is the first Italian DJ ever to create a successful event known across the globe. He has been the first and only Italian featured amongst the world's top ten DJs and one of the few DJ's to get on Top of the Pops! His most recent creation, Meganite, is a musical journey that touches all cultures and trends in all nations. Its concept is simple, beautiful, electronic music that knows how to evolve, creating an atmosphere enjoyed by clubbers around the world.
Mauro's much anticipated album "2010" was released in 2010 showing his impeccable and unique style for dance music lovers and to celebrate the new adventure with his residency at Space Ibiza for Come Together. With 2011 Mauro will release a new Album called "TwentyEleven" that will demonstrate his musical taste and creativity, confirming his place always at the top. He is also in the process of organising the first Alchemy Festival in Pinerolo near Turin, this will take place on the 11th of June 2011.
The Alchemy festival will not only see top dj's and artist performing but will be also be the first festival in the world that will give the opportunity for new up and coming or even unknown artists and musicians to perform and show their talent to a large crowd live. Gabry Fasano: Myspace

Gabry Fasano's career starts with the expansion of house music in europe in 1988. The same year, after his first summer spent in Ibiza, he starts playing in the underground circuit in private villa parties around Florence, leading the development of the electronic music scene in the following years. Since 1990, as a pioneer he leads the way playing in the first house clubs in Italy, such as Kamakama, Insomnia and Jaiss bringing them to the top of the disco scene in Italy for more than ten years. In the year 2000 he becomes also resident in Cocorico' in Riccione, and in 2002 he joins Mauro Picotto's family, Meganite, playing alongside international stars in several Meganite parties in many countries including Switzerland, Scotland, England, Ireland, USA, and Colombia. Since 2004 he is resident at the Meganite party at Privilege in Ibiza. Since 2006 he plays regularly in Tenax, Florence.

More than a decade of electronic music opened in the city of Granada. Jesus Carilla built a temple that continues today and each week welcomes hundreds of people arriving in procession to worship: Industrial Copera room.

This space contains within electronic music, pop, rock, hip-hop and alternative. Eclectic where there is not intended to have a particular style, "but being a music room of reference."
