I found a new song to sing you this day,

How God in His mercy took my troubles away.

 

He stood there waiting though I did not see,

He knew all my needs, all my blessings to be.

 

He gave just enough to make me aware,

And just in time He answered my prayer.

 

He blessed me again hour upon hour,

He gave me His peace, He showed me His power.

 

He took my great pain and made it an ache,

He wiped all of my tears for my sanity’s sake.

 

He gave just enough to help me along,

And just in time He made me strong.

 

All of my worries that I stewed about,

He took them away, He just threw them all out.

 

Each day some new worry comes traipsing along,

But God gave to me this new little song.

 

With just enough I’ll help you get through,

And just in time I’ll be there for you.

 

What a new joy I found in my heart,

I know God is near, He’ll never depart.

 

I know that He listens each time that I pray,

And then He just takes all my worries away.

 

He gives just enough to make everything new,

And just in time, He’ll do it for you.

 

So try to be patient and try to be brave,

Remember the love that Jesus Christ gave.

 

Even in times of total despair,

Rely on this truth, God is right there.

 

With just enough His presence will be,

And just in time, He will set your soul free.
