About:
Mysteriarch was formed in Charlotte, NC in 2002. Drawing inspiration from the occult, as well as humanity's mystery traditions and the hidden aspects of existence, they wasted little time establishing a powerful and unique style of black metal. The band's first EP “Renaissance of the Maelstrom” was recorded in 2004, although it was only distrubuted privately among friends. After several years of extensive gigging and line-up changes, the band's debut full-length album “The Majestic Fall” was released through underground label Ophiucus Records and received some decent press reviews. In December 2011, their debut full-length and EP were re-released through U.S. label Razed Soul Productions (available for the first time on professional replicated CD). Shortly afterward, in January 2012 their 2nd full-length album "Mournful Embrace of Aeons" was released through Razed Soul Prod. via 6-panel digipak (limited to 1000 copies) along with a special edition poster. Mysteriarch have shared the stage with bands such as: Absu (USA), Blood Red Throne (Nor), Grave (Swe), Chthonic (Twn), Epica (Neth), Mayhem (Nor), Rotting Christ (Grc), Sothis (USA) and many more. Cold Comfort

A spirit rose from the earth
Slowly leaving...
Their candle-flame lonely, and so needing
Like dust in the night the prayers rise
Under the sick image of Christ
They talk to the nothingness
Old wounds were never mended

Something drops from the (autumn) leaves
Again it rains:
In a dry corner, salvation again declines
Sleep like a skull in the hard ground
Nothing for ears nothing for eyes
Without a shadow, waiting for nothing
The dark room, the moist tenement (of earth)

The cold kiss of release, great light
He was never man enough
In a world of cruel faces
He discovered that he was never man enough
He discovered nothing
Far above and beyond...
All in the name of god
The eyes refused to look ahead...

About...

Gorgoroth was founded in 1992 by guitarist Infernus after making a pact with the devil. In 1993, the band released their first demo, entitled A Sorcery Written in Blood. On January 7, 1994, Firda, the major newspaper in the county of Sogn og Fjordane where the band originated from, ran a cover story on the demo, with the headline "Local music with Satanic symbolism". According to the article, the release of the demo and flyers with Satanic symbols led to "concerned parents contacting the Sheriff's Office in Fjaler". After the demo was released, Gorgoroth signed a record deal with Embassy Productions and started work on their debut full-length Pentagram. When bassist Kjettar left the band in 1993, Samoth of Emperor joined Gorgoroth as their new bassist, and participated in the recording of the album. After Pentagram was completed and released in 1994, drummer Goat left the band and was replaced by Frost from Satyricon. The band performed their first concert at Lusa Lottes Pøbb in Oslo, Norway, on May 3, 1994, at a four-day Black Metal Nights festival with bands such as Dark Funeral (who also made their live debut), Dissection, Enslaved, Marduk (who played their first gig abroad), Gehenna and Hades Almighty.
This was followed by gigs with Enslaved in Bergen (in June and September) and in Haugesund (in November), and the band performed their first gig abroad in Annaberg-Buchholz in Germany on December 10, 1994. The same year, the band commenced the recording of Antichrist (originally titled Død), their second full-length album. The group is currently signed to Regain Records and have released eight full-length studio albums. A re-recording of their third album, Under the Sign of Hell, was released in 2011, and a new full-length album has been in the works since late 2009.
