Finally we get Kendrick’s first single from his major label debut, and boy did he not disappoint. Dre did a pretty good job at reciting what Kendrick wrote for him and Scoop definitely delivered as well with the dope flip of the Twin Sister sample on the beat. Although I don’t know how well this will do on the radio, this should definitely help him get some exposure as he gets ready to drop the album.

As expected Kendrick went off [BLUP BLUP BLUP], but who would have thought Gunplay would add his own unique element to this song. Not sure where this song is going to end up, but I definitely have big expectations for Kendrick’s debut album that is supposed to drop this year. Also with all this talk of him working with Dre, Pharrell, Just Blaze, and Q-Tip to name a few, I wouldn’t mind if he kept the production for the album mainly in-house as THC’s beats fit Kendrick perfectly.

Growing up in the Bay Area, I saw Black Scale grow from its start in 2007 and I must say I am very impressed with their SS2012 lineup. With a nice selection of cut and sew with hints of accent colors, Spring/Summer 2012 definitely shows the maturity of the brand. I like that they used simple patterns instead of graphics that seemed a bit over designed that may have appeared on their stuff in the past. No word on availability but I’m guessing these will hit the SF, LA & NY flagship stores in the coming weeks followed by the rest of the retailers.

Even with Khaled on this track, Stalley has not switched things up one bit since signing to MMG. Still that same great rap from the Ohio native that we have come to expect from him.

I know everyone has their favorite underground rapper that they think should be more popular, but I really think K. Sparks is one of the best. From his quick flow to the soulful beats and songs like this one are the reason why I keep checking for new stuff from the Queens rapper. If you’re a fan of this, definitely check out his other stuff.

Leave it to Nipsey to shoot a video in my motherland of all places for a track off his recent project TMC. I knew Nipsey went to Japan a while back to perform and this video for Forever On Some Fly Shit recaps some moments from the trip. If you haven’t already, go download The Marathon Continues now.

Acura has been rumored to have been hard at work on a successor to their NSX from the 90s, and today they finally revealed the concept supercar at the Detroit Auto Show. Besides the fact that it is powered by a hybrid mid-engine V6, not much is known about the car besides the design itself. I do really like the design with the sleek lines, and I think it’s definitely a step in the right direction for Acura.

Oh btw Tony Stark will be trading in his R8 for one of these in the upcoming Avengers movie.

These pictures of the camera itself will be some of the last that I have to take with a point and shoot camera. Don’t get me wrong the Canon SD780 was pretty good for its small form factor, but it doesn’t even compare to the behemoth that is the 7D. It’s not that new after all(hope a MKII isn’t coming too soon), but it definitely delivers the best for Canon’s crop frame mid-level range with dual Digic4 processors that will conquer your 18 megapixel and 1080p needs.

I don’t have too much to say other than I can’t wait to start shooting with it.

Even with the possibility of new Jay-Z and kanYe West solo albums coming out this year, one of the albums I am anticipating the most is Robert Glasper’s Black Radio. This video previews the album that includes many guests including Yasiin Bey, Lupe Fiasco, and Erykah Badu just to name a few. Don’t confuse this for a hip-hop album though, and some smooth jazz like this is definitely needed once in a while.
