Cloud Computing has many variations (SaaS, PaaS, Hybrid and many more Sauses..), but we've forgot something. Remember Virtualization? Have you Considered Consolidation? Consider Massive Storage (low cost redundancy)?
Many folks in big companies still wish to have their hands On IT,
so why bother with giving up on unknown ServiceProvider?
they say: "It is better to have some in-house poor solution than to give up your privacy and mount up on some "Cloud Adventure".
yeah, and so - for what its worth ?
IT security nowadays stays an issue, cause if you want ROI - you go for the Cloud,
if you want your privacy - you go for home-made solution AND you have to deal with IT Security yourself. Still, some Cloud Security Providers have much better IT security solutions than you...and the question remains: "Are you ready to Let IT Be in the Cloud?"

a bit of juice i missed back in 2006.

nowadays insecurity - anything is possible,
you dont see process, you dont see driver, you dont see open ports - that was a child play.

Ring 0 - OS kernel mode attacks, old and rusty, works with blue screens.
but what about ring -1 (Virtualization attacks)
and what about ring -2 (hardware, cpu instructions level attacks)
and what about ring -3 (re-flash your bios)

I see this as a negativism in the rings (consider "-"/minus) - dark magic.

I think that if some government uses botnet and "ring -X" technology,
well, its kinda "worst case" attack scenario we can ever imagine.

keep your children out of internet, please.

Google just marked my blog as a spam blog , i.e. their Robots identify me as another robot that generates a meaningless stream of words, da%m , folks
you've got to be kidding me , if it seems senseless to your robots , maybe you should try to read that yourselves ?
(and yeah , they write me a note , that i have 20 days to request a review , its like a death sentence to your blog , look at those empty bmw.blogspot and ibm.blogspot blogs and try to understand why they're not closing those ones).
sometimes your paranoia creates a robot you cannot control...

Today's standards leave us no choice but to rethink and redefine the environment we're living in . More utilities from low-tech to high-tech are vulnerable to risk of this or that value . assessment can be done at a hard effort at the cost of operability and maneuverability , tight competition brings a low budget business to a fast unreliable solutions done with no proper documentation , so that the main picture analysis can be resolved only by truly Big players in the industry
still , powerful businesses can bring more value by giving a small start-ups a chance or at least buy them out to give a good idea "a go".
but this kind of kindheartedness is a "rare find" these days...
but , lets get down to business .. strong compliance tools from big players - can they give you some real good approach to a compliance problem resolution ?
take FoundStone for ex, can they really automatize a solution ? can a computer tell you if you compliant ? i'll rephrase - can a computer tell you that you are safe ?
yeah , right , of course it can tell you that ..do you believe it ? until next blasted shutdown , i guess...

You can measure your speed from here to there to get a common look on what actual speed your ISP is giving you, and , hell yeah, there can be a problem if someone's (like your neighbor) using your bandwidth with you :)

Relatively New IE7 has many cool things along with some great add-ons that seems to be an "added value" for a "core" product.
Take , for example, IE7Pro add on.
This add-on has following cool features:

1. Tabs instead of new windows.(pros:verstility , cons: the main window "dies" with all the tabs attached)

2.You can Grab & Drag a link or simply select a phrase on the web page and make it a
new TAB(new web page with address that was selected).

3.Spelling CHeck inside a web page , feels like Winword (for those who understand)

4.It Has a MiniDownloader that can grab one file with multiple connections (up to 10 threads) that actually grab a different portions of a file and download all of them simultaneously . That is really cool. For those of you who likes http://rapidshare , megaupload and so forth , there is a little bit of a disappointment , cos if you're not a premium user you wont be able to open multiple connections vs DownloadSite
so the Acceleration will be unavailable ...oh come on , send an SMS and enjoy .

Ok , back on the track , its the new physical come back . Back into the future that possibly never existed. Some say it is a Time machine , some say we create a Dark Matter (smells of a Star Wars soap opera and Dark side of the Force). Moreover , dark energies and anti-matter can tottally consume you with the Black Hole that is being created by our own hands . Horrified Videos on YouTube , Cases against the experiment , and still , we're running the show , and the Show Must Go on , just like Freddy predicted.
Relax folks , we just trying to set up a Mini BIG BANG to understand how the world was created , thats IT ! May be , finally , physics will get to know WHO CREATED all this and HOW HE did IT (btw following Einstein mad ideas)! Wee seek a fascinating image of How massless particles were flying through Higgs Clouds were given a gift of MASS , and , damn , we can understand how the MATTER's STAND !

Yeah , some folks dont even know , those few who knows - enjoy.
Lets get down to business. Many redundant HDs winded up together on one side, and the high temperature of the DataCenter on the other. High-tech meets low-tech. Cool Backup/Snapshotting system on one side , and uncontrollable limits of the snapshot on the other (can spread onto the users' side of the disk causing havoc).Wishing you good i can do bad. You buy 100 GB , no , you buy twice that amount. No money ,no love.
btw , backup tapes robot is still needed...Magnetic ways are the best till now , look at LHC (large hadrone collider), for example (the latest physics experiment driven by 4 huge Magnets along 27 KM of spiral pipe , traffic at light speed folks , handled by magnets , you must be jealous , its being tested today at CERN).
Integration with other cool platforms - is still to be done...Antivirus software will possibly damage some files here and there ,but nothing a good SYSop cant manage.
Still , the choice is always yours. NAS is not only a rapper's name, you know.

This platform rarely updates , methods of creating channels and interconnecting never redefined , if such re-organization will take place , taking into account the recent activities of Botnet channels , the problem can be solved at a lower level , the WebConstruction will have to find a new platform to grow on , this will take time and more money that doesnt specifically exists , so ...can someone think of a better solution ..??? Yeah , thats something to think about. For those of you who doesnt know.
You never know if you're really running a virus/trojan free computer/laptop.
And , yes , it just doesnt matter if you have any protection progs etc.
"Hide Technics/Rootkitting improved , not only ports and threads "does not exists" ,even interrupts and memory allocations are hidden as well. Zombies are populating the Internet , Motherships aquire new "recruits" on the daily basis. Huge C&C portals are now available for a small amount of $.Damn , and it is so well organized , and ,damn , it feels like some BigBrother is standing there behind the Iron Curtain.And , damn , some damn ship can just throw an anchor on the cable that runs below through the ocean and just "detach" half of the continent from the Internet when it really needs to be done.I say , if you really wanna save the day , just stay out of this game , do not stay connected , do not enter the Internet , do not Expose yourself. Cos you may be 100% sure you will be attacked by some Huge Judgement Day Botnet when you cant even realize the potential threat of what is being stolen in a matter of seconds from your precious PC..

This usefull site implements a combo-search around some of the best search engines ever made , still , it is poorly customized , cos if you want to search on Baidu or Rambler or anything else , besides the giants like Google ,Yahoo , Live and Ask(TM) you wont be able to do it. and Still , I found this site pretty good and well updated , stay tuned for MaxMadIdeas ..till the next post , folks.

It seems that Wimax technology is spreading all over US and Europe , and slowly but firmly it is getting all over Asia . Israel is next on the line. Soon right after the permission of Israeli Ministry of Communication all Israel will be covered by WiMax Antennas and will be provided with 15MB Internet with an ability to see Digital Television , Play games like Quake 4 online and more , all this also available from your Mobile Phone ..i say thats cool , the whole country inside a web .. national security issues - anyone ?

I've just noticed that you may be able to see a full time movie on Youtube, and ,btw, even if that movie is labeled part1-9 etc , it is still a full movie
inside. Rambo4 , Curse of the Golden Flower , and so on.. 100% commercial movies around 2006-2007 are there. I say , it will take time until youtube authorities block those "director cuts". Until then, well , prob'ly we'll enjoy the SHOW.

And they've already added some cool movies , so i strongly recommend you check them out . All the PPTs are PPT-xed so this is Office 2007 you must use in the first place otherwise you will find some weird effects and artifacts in those files , or maybe you're just an artifact collector , then open it with WordPad :)

There are so many sites that "analyze" your sites for free , actually , they're all building a TRAFFIC HighSpeedWay from YOU. once you've signed on - you're generating a constant traffic for their homestead . A simple fact of creating of so many "Analyzing" sites lately gave me this hint. Its a traffic giant once you made it. the effort always pays off.

but let me tell you this : all those graphs and tables , all those numbers and lines someone needs to put together somehow so that it will finally reach your goal. You must be there to analyze and it takes a long time to understand WHAT you are looking for.
