Python commands and VS Code Setup

To check Python version enter command

Python3 – – version

To check with pip version

Pip3 —version

To check diesel version enter the command following

Django-admin —version

Install Django

We can install the Django in two types first we can install in virtual environment second we can install globally. In virtual environment if we install the Django it will not be accessible outside of this environment.

Install Django in Separate Environment

Install virtual environment wrapper

This is used to install virtual environment wrapper.

Pip install virtualenvwrapper-win

Example:-

(In windows ) pip install virtualenvwrapper

(in MacOS) pip3 install virtualenvwrapper

Create virtual environment (VE)

This is used to create virtual environment. It will automatically activate environment.

For windows:-

mkvirtualenv envname

For example :-

mkvirtualenv ckesripyvrenv

For my macOS:-

Step 1.

python3 -m venv envname

For example :- python3 -m venv ckesripyvrenv

Step 2

Source envname/bin/activate

For example :- source ckesripyvrenv/bin/activate

Step 3: If we want to deactivate virtual env.

deactivate envname

Step4: remove env

rm -r bin include lib lib64 pyvenv.cfg share

Active VE

This is used to activate environment.

workon envname

For example :-

workon ckesripyvrenv

Installed Django in created VE

Pip install django

First activate environment then run the command to install django within active environment. You can also specify version pip install django == 2.0

Django Versions

django-admin —version

Create Project in django

Create Django Project

django-admin startproject projectname

Example

django-admin startproject schoolproject

Run Django Project

First goto the project root directory then run the below command

python manage.py runserver

optional command for, if we want to run project on specific port (for example 5555) then use below command

python manage.py runserver 5555

Stop Django Project

Press Ctrl+c

Create App in your django Project

To create app in your project, you have to move in your Project’s root directory. Root directory is the place where you manage.py application reside.

Create App

Create Model in App

Model is the place where you can define your fields and fields type. Like name, address, isStudent, dob, etc.

Create Tables in DB

Run migrate command to execute migration file,

By this command, execute the migration file to create table in database.

Memory Leaks in ReactJs

Memory leak can be understand like program engaging memory for unused data. Data is stored in memory but not used by and program.

React developer can understand by these given examples likes:

1. DOM Event Listener

Let's suppose we define any event handler on component mount but forgot to define remove event listener on component unmount. When component unmount this listener still present in memory but as unused handler.

So it is recommended to always define remove event listener on component unmount or clean up callback. see the below code sample for an idea.

2. API Request

Let's suppose we call any API on component mount but API response taking time , In between if we move on some other page, then our component will unmount but browser still busy with fetching response from the API.

After few second, if our browser received response and store the result in memory but that resultant data is useless because component is already unmounted.

this type of useless data occupying memory and may cause any serious performance issues.

Solution,

To avoid this type of issue, always cancel the API request before the component unmount.

"AbortControllers" is the solution. As per MDN, it allows us to abort the request at any point of execution. First we need to create an instance of AbortController like `new AbortController()`. This controller has a corresponding `signal` property which we can use to signal and abort asynchronous operation. We need to call `abortController.abort()` to trigger `signal` property, which will leading to the fetch operation being aborted.

This can be useful for handling situations where you want to cancel ongoing requests or timers when they are no longer needed.

Now, when our user navigates to a new page, our AbortController cancels the request and we don't have to worry about having data leaks.

NOTE: Once API request is completed and then If we call `abortController.abort()` , it will not throw any error. In simple it will not trigger any action which will harm your program.

It is recommended, if you have this type of situation in your project. It helps to prevent memory leak and improve the app performance.

Hey Guys,

If you are continuously getting ssl error issue during browsing with your regulaar websites like,

then might be your antivirus making some issue. I am using ESET Smart Security 5 and i am also getting this ssl errorin all my browser... so i have setup this setting to overcome this issue. follow the step given below and resolve this issue :

1. Start ESET Smart Security 5
2. Click on Setup
3. Then click on Web and Email
4. Click on "Configure"
5. Expand "Web and Email" --> "Protocol Filtering" --> "SSL" -->
6. Choose "Do not scan SSL Protocols" and click "OK" button.

Step-1- Go to Forms menu- Choose Add or Edit fields

Step-2- Double click to open the dialogue box of Properties of the selected Field.

Step-3- Tooltip- give the name here of the selected field and then * (for ex- Full Name*) then click on Close.

[NOTE- Here this is compulsory to write the ‘*’ after the field name]

This step will be done separately and repeated as same for all the fields in the form.

Step-4- Then select the button (Print button), right click on it.

Step-5- Go to Action Tab-

Delete the existing Action from the Actions, and

Add an Action-

· Select Trigger- Mouse up

· Select Action- Run a JavaScript (from the dropdown arrow)

If you are trying to sent mail with attachment using php, check the following things:

Some times attachment is too much heavier to process so we need to set some settings on php initialization:

add the following code on your mail sent page:

Increase the localhost mail sent size:
1. Goto your IIS
2. Right click on "Default SMTP Virtual Server"

5. Select "Access" tab -->"Relay restrictions" --> Click on "Relay..." button --> check "All except the list below" --> "OK"

Solution:
1. Goto your IIS
2. Right click on "Default SMTP Virtual Server"
3. Choose "Properties"
4. Select "Message" tab
5. Increase the "Limit message size to (KB)" as your mail+attachment required.
6. Click on "Apply" then "OK".
7. "Restart" your IIS.

All modern browsers support JavaScript 1.5 at the least, most supporting 1.6 to 1.8.

That's not quite helpful enough though. To get the exact version, you could test for a single new feature in each version.

How can you do this? Create a test page to test the JavaScript version, and run it on the Android browser.

JavaScript 1.6 has a bunch of new Array functions. 1.7 introduces Iterator objects. JavaScript 1.8 introduces the reduce Array function. So we can test for these:

Beyound Compare : Ignore File Extension option

Beyond Compare 3 doesn't have the "ignore file extension" setting. It was replaced by the "Alignment Overrides" setting in BC3 Pro.

As an example, here's how to align .bmp files on the left with .jpg files on the right using BC3 Pro:

Select Session > Session Settings.
Go to the Misc tab.
Click New.
For "Align left file (or folder)" enter "*.bmp".
For "with right file (or folder)" enter "*.jpg".
Click OK until you're back to the main window.
