BURLESON – Jerry Jacob Thompson Jr., 48, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson.

Jerry was born on October 1, 1963 in Macon Georgia. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors: Wife, Cynthia; parents, Jerry Thompson Sr. and Leona Manges; sister, Theresa Lee and husband, Johnny; son, Jacob Thompson; stepchildren, Zachary and Amanda Willhite; granddaughter, Anna Jean Thompson; and nieces, Amanda and Dylan Heel.

FORT WORTH – FORT WORTH — Jimmy Woodrow Singleton, 71, was suddenly called home on Sunday February 12, 2012.
Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery; Visitation: 2:30-4:30 Thursday at the Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cook Children’s Medical Center.
Jimmy was born on February 16, 1940 in Alvarado, Texas to James Garfield and Lillie Katherine Singleton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jimmy owned and operated a paint and body shop for many years, he took great pride in his work and skill. He later spent 3 years in Irag working for a private contractor driving trucks.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Garfield Robert Singleton and sister, Ima Lucas.
Survivors: wife, Lynn; sons, Jimmy Jr. and wife, Paula and Jeffery; daughter, Karla Huckabee and husband, Kevin; brothers, Billy Joe Singleton and wife, Sue and Garry Singleton and wife, Melanie Kay; 7 grandchildren, Michelle Singleton, Chance Singleton, Casey Singleton, Nicholas Singleton, Kyler Huckabee, Kelsey Huckabee and Hayden Singleton; and 1 great grandchild, Maesey. neices and nephew, Sandra Hadley, Kelly “Skip” Lucas, Tanya Spurlock, Cynthia Roberson and Alysha Singleton.

BURLESON – Vernon Alton Schronk, 82, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson.
Memorials: May be made to Accolade Hospice, 308 E. Renfro, Burleson, Texas 76028.
Vernon was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Malone to Otto and Janie Schronk; He proudly served his country in the National Guard for two years and then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served four years during the Korean War. Vernon retired after 30 years at Lockheed Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter in law, Tricia Schronk.
Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Alice; daughter, Carol Williams; son, Kevin Schronk and wife, Kelly; brother, Robert Schronk and wife, Mary; grandsons, Dustin Schronk and wife, Misty, and Bo Hu; stepgrandsons, Tanner and Levi Woody; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and friends.

Michael Lavern Cramer, Jr.
January 4, 1941 – February 6, 2012

Michael or “Mike”, was born in Richmond, Virginia, on January 4, 1941, and died of cancer, at his home in Fort Worth, on February 6, 2012. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan, and his cherished children Michael, Jesse, Leslie, Leah and Beth, 8 grandchildren, and many dear family members and friends. He goes on to be reunited with his Lord, his parents and his brother, David.

Michael was a retired corporate businessman, insurance salesman and small business owner of College Cleaners in Fort Worth for 24 years. He was a member of Mensa and a brother Mason.

He was a devoted Christian and an active member of Oak Knoll Baptist Church, 2002 Higgins Lane, Haltom City, Texas, where his memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012.
