Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by British boyband Five. The album was released on November 19, 2001. The album features thirteen of the band's fourteen singles (minus "How Do Ya Feel"), three B-sides and two new remixes. The album was produced by Simon Cowell. The album peaked at #9 on the UK Albums Chart, as well as being certified platinum by the BPI. It is noted that with exception to "It's The Things You Do", all of the tracks are the Radio Edit or Single Remix of the track. The Japanese version of the album features two additional tracks in place of the remixes - "How Do Ya Feel", the 'missing single' from the British release, and "Reminiscing", the B-side to "Keep on Movin'".

Red and Blue is the Stefani Germanotta Band's first official EP. It was sold at The Bitter End on March 9, 2006. The lyrics were written by Lady Gaga, and was produced by Joe Vulpis. On December 17, 2005, they played several of the songs from the EP at The Lion's Den. It features female-vocal ballads with a glam rock edge. Most songs have a very present piano and heavily feature, the voice of Lady Gaga. This piano-heavy musical style was notably absent from Lady Gaga's debut album, The Fame, except for the track "Brown Eyes", but the motif resurfaced later in acoustic performances of "Poker Face" and "Paparazzi".

Schizophrenic is the debut and only solo album from ex-'N Sync band member JC Chasez. The album was released on February 24, 2004. Three singles were released from the album:Blowin' Me Up (with Her Love), released on December 3, 2002, Some Girls (Dance With Women), which was his UK debut single, released on November 11, 2003, and All Day Long I Dream About Sex, his last-ever single, released on October 8, 2004.

After a year's absence of making music with 'N Sync, Chasez teamed up with friend and producer Dallas Austin to write the song "Blowin' Me Up (with Her Love)", for the Drumline movie soundtrack. Following the single's success, Chasez began writing a record; a record which he intended to be in a different style from that commonly associated with 'N Sync. The album includes a range of dance andelectronic music, live strings and traditional rock and roll, with a 1980s vibe to it. The song "Come To Me" includes a sample of Corey Hart's 1983 hit "Sunglasses At Night". All fifteen songs on the album were co-written and produced by Chasez, working with producers such as Dallas Austin, Rob Boldt, Basement Jaxx and Rip Rock.

Victoria Beckham is the self-titled debut and only album to date by British singer Victoria Beckham. It was released on 1 October 2001 by Virgin Records. Beckham was the last member of the Spice Girls to release a solo album.

The album did not include the hit "Out of Your Mind", but spawned two singles which managed to land in the Top 10 in the United Kingdom, "Not Such An Innocent Girl" and "A Mind of Its Own". The album debuted and peaked at number-ten in UK album chart,^[1] charting for 3 weeks and selling 16,000 copies sold in its first week. The album has sold 52,016 copies overall in the United Kingdom. After "Being Victoria Beckham," an official documentary that aired in early March 2002, the album re-entered the UK charts at number sixty-seven. The BBC described the album as "a mish-mash affair of gushy sentiment and wishy-washy RnB"^[2] while NME called the album "a new low in shameless pop slaggery."

Confessions is the fourth studio album by American R&B singer-songwriter Usher, released March 23, 2004, on Arista-imprint label LaFace Records. Recording sessions for the album took place during 2003 to 2004 with production by Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and Lil Jon. Primarily an R&B album, Confessions showcases Usher as a crooner and incorporates musical elements of hip hop and crunk. The album's themes generated controversy about Usher's personal relationship; however, the album's primary producer Jermaine Dupri claimed the record reflects his personal story.

The album was an instant commercial success in the United States, selling 1.1 million copies in its first week. Its continued success was bolstered by its four chart-topping singles. As a strategy to boost its sales amid threats of bootlegging, a special edition was issued with the hit single "My Boo". Despite some mixed criticism towards its lyrical substance, Confessions received mostly positive reviews and earned Usher several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album. The album has sold over 10 million copies in the US and has been certified diamond in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Passion is the third album by English pop singer Geri Halliwell, released on 6 June, 2005) in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Canada. Two singles were released from the album, "Ride It" and "Desire", which both made the UK top 30. Critics praised Halliwell's improved voice ^[1] but the album was a commercial failure, peaking at no.41 and charting for only one week on the UK album chart.^[2]
