Nautical number 2, again taken in Howth this time looking out over the marina.

This week on McAWilliams.com I am going all nautical, starting off with this image of a bouy hanging down from the side of a fishing boat.

I took this picture quite a while ago while out in Howth and have no idea why I never posted it. These seagulls had balls I must say they just stood there holding their ground staring at me, seemed nothing could scare them.

Recently I was asked by Peter Donegan of Donegan Landscaping to take some photographs, at first I assumed it would be photos of some gardens he may have worked on or something but it came as a suprise that he wanted them of himself.

Peter has spent a lot of time on the internet and is possibly one of the few if not the only Landscape gardener to blog, tweet, facebook etc etc, so I gladly helped the guy out. Well what a fun day we had, and after 120 or so photos we found it easy to whittle them down to about 10 shots.

So best of luck to Peter now with his new look site and hopefully the photos will do you some good.

Ok I apologise I do like snow a lot, not sure about this photo since snow actually proves to just give you kinda white images and thats it. Anyhow I do some of you enjoy it like yesterdays image.

Another photo I took at the Hill of Tara on my mini photowalk with Sarah Kavanagh, who by the way has started her own photoblog at slkav.com and is well worth checking out, this time looking back from all the burial mounds towards St Patricks Church with its gorgeous trees surrounding it, the snow gave the whole area a very dreamy look, hence the reason I love the snow so much.

I knew moving to this rented house in Rathmines would have its downfalls, seems my room is haunted by a little boy who wants to get the hell out of my bedroom, must be the smell of smell of man turning him away!!! lol

Nah this is my first attempt with a technique called “Painting with light” and its damn hard to get right but I was pleased with this photo, but will be trying for more of these over the next few days.

Went to the Hill of Tara today, and it was damn cold from the snow the night before, but this land rover really caught my eye all pimped out in some very weird fashion.
