McFelder Translations was recently been selected by Applied Biosystems to translate the brochure for the ”Food Pathogen Detection Sytem” from Engish into Spanish.

The Food Pathogen Detection System has the ability to detect threatening pathogens in materials ranging from environmental samples to food and finished products . This equipment has been designed especially for testing laboratories.

McFelder Translations is a delighted to announce it has recently completed the French and German translations of the Neogen Europe website. Neogen Europe Ltd, the European subsidiary of Neogen Corporation, is a business specializing in the development and marketing of novel diagnostic kits. These kits focus on topical concerns about the quality and safety of food and agricultural products, from the quality of seed that goes into the ground, right through the chain to the safety of fully processed food products. Neogen Europe Ltd has grown very rapidly and has an established sales forces in France, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland. New framework agreement promotes London’s Royal Parks

McFelder signs multi agency framework agreement with the UK government Department of Media Culture and Sports to promote The Royal Parks.

McFelder has recently completed a multi agency framework agreement along with others to provide translation and localisation services for London’s Royal parks market development project.

During the course of the contract, we will be working together with The Royal Parks marketing team and their selected marketing agencies, to develop use of the parks, by London’s diverse community, but also to explore and develop further potential to promote the already well known venues such as Hyde Park and St James’s Parks as international tourist destinations.

This is a particularly exciting project, as we will not only be involved in developing the enormous potential of the parks as local and international venues, but the timing of the project coincides with the lead towards the 2012 London Olympic games, where the parks will feature as the centres for various sports such as the equestrian events, beach volleyball, triathlon, cycling, and form part of a spectacular marathon route.

We have our running shoes on, and ready to go!

EN 15038 certification: Mcfelder completes independent audit and assessment of QA procedures

McFelder is pleased to announce that following a successful audit programme; we have been independently assessed as fully complying with the European Quality Standard for Translation Services, EN 15038, and have been certified by the Spanish Standards and Certification Authority AENOR.

McFelder have operated to the parameters of the Sstandard for some considerable time, but as part of the ongoing development of the company, as a significant supplier of translation and interpreting services to major international business organisations and also to the Public Sector in Spain and in the UK, we took a decision that independent assessment of our processes would add an extra dimension to the confidence that existing customers already have in our capabilities, and also reassure potential customers that McFelder is a serious supplier of translation localisation and interpreting services.

We believe that external certification to EN 15038 is yet another significant step in the development of McFelder as major providers or quality service worldwide.

McFelder signs supply agreement with Scottish Parliament

On 1st June 2009, McFelder was very pleased to sign a framework agreement with The Scottish Parliament,

where we will collaborate with the Parliament and others to supply translation, interpreting,

transcription and audio guides in European and other non European languages for a minimum period of
3 years as part of the Parliaments commitment to communicate internationally, and with UK residents,

where English may not necessarily be the mother tongue.

This is a significant commitment by the Parliament, and we very much look forward to supplying a first

rate service for many years to come.
