Summer went by way to fast this year. We have been so busy doing so many fun things that I didn't want to see summer end! We kept busy all summer doing this:

Blackfoots Pride Days, Seth, Suzanne and Brandon went on a plane ride around the Blackfoot area.

Well Seth started Pre-School this year and he is so excited to be able to go to school and be a big boy! He has talked about going to school for the last year like his cousins do so now he is so excited to be able to go to school like them! Seth is going to Smartie Pants preschool and looks forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday, he loves going with his friends and leaning new things everyday. I hope he stays this excited about school for the next 15years!!

Dax 8 months

Before Dax was born I had a good goal, I was going to blog and journal each month about his accomplishments the new things he learns daily and his milestone he reaches each month, well lets just say so far I have been horrible at my goal! Since he has been born I probably have only done it a couple of times so I am turning over a new leaf and going to do a lot better at it!

8months:

-he pulls himself up on anything and everything that is at all close to him

-is a good sleeper and now sleeps all night in his own bed! Seth never slept in his crib so it is so nice to be able to put Dax in his crib walk away and he will just fall asleep!

-he loves to eat he likes most of the food except for the peas and the chicken dinner

-loves to be outside

-he has his two bottom teeth(the ones he was born with) and now working of three up top, two have come all the way threw and the third one is giving him troubles.

-he rolls only when he wants to, he would rather climb and stand up to things

-he loves to go for walks

-likes to play with Seth’s toys, we can put a basket of Seth’s toys in front of him and he sits and plays with them for awhile but when he put his toys in front of him he is immediately trying to move on and get other things.

-Dax loves to watch Seth and any other kids that are around, he wants to be able to run and play with them so bad!

We love having him apart of our family and to be able to watch Seth and Dax interact with each other is priceless!!

First camping trip of summer 2011

We have been busy doing some fun things so far this summer we have been busy playing outside, at the parks, swimming, going to the Zoo, golfing, and of course camping! Dax has been able to experience his first adventures like camping and going swimming these last couple weeks and he has loved every minute of them and we have loved having him be with us doing the fun things we do as a family.

A couple weeks ago we went camping for the first time this summer and it felt so good to get out of the house and be able to finally enjoy some nice weather. The boys had so much fun being outside, getting dirty, going for hikes, and of course going 4-wheeling! This time was a little more difficult having Dax with us because he is right at that stage where he will not just sit and play with toys, he wants to be down so he can stand and try to climb on things, so we solved that problem and got a pack-n-play(which probably saved our lives that weekend)and let him play in that so he didn’t have to be on the ground in all the dirt and try to eat everything he saw on the ground, which he wouldn’t have had a problem with that but I did! We went on some 4-wheeling rides and that is always Seth’s favorite part of camping. He especially liked it this time because the guys found some snow and mud, whenever you have snow, mud and 4-wheeling combined Seth is in heaven!! If there is any mud around while 4-wheeling Seth is sure to find it and makes sure he goes right threw it. We took Dax on a long trail ride with us also and he loved it he definitely is going to take after Seth and Brandon and love anything that has wheels! We had so much fun and are already looking forward to more camping adventures this summer.

Easter 2011

Wow! It has been a long time since I have made any posts, possibly because we have not been up to much lately. We have just been hibernating inside and are all ready to get out to enjoy some spring and summertime weather! I love this time of year, I love the freshness in the air, all the spring flowers, fresh green grass, sunny days, surprisingly enough I love the spring cleaning I do around the house and I love the holidays we get to celebrate in spring especially Easter! For Easter this year we where able to enjoy going to church as a family to be reminded of what Easter is really about, then going to Brandons parents to have a nice dinner and of course having an Easter egg hunt for Seth. It was a nice, relaxing, and sunny Easter Day!

Special Day

Dax, Boden and Knight where all able to be blessed the day after Christmas. It was a special day and one that will not be forgotten. My dad blessed Boden and Dax and Grandpa Hillam blessed Knight. They each got a special blessing and were very good babies. After the blessings we all gathered at my moms and dad house for dinner and to visit and hang out with all the families and friends,

Christmas 2010

Christmas time is always a busy time of the year but it is definitely my favorite time of year. Every year gets better and better with the boys and watching the excitement in them and watching them get really into Santa Claus and the presents, it makes the busyness of Christmas worth it every year! This year for Christmas eve we spent it at Brandons family. We ate dinner and played games, we have done that the last couple of years and it is a fun tradition his mom has started! Later that night we went to my parents were we stayed the night and was able to be their with all my family for Christmas morning! Later Christmas day we went to Brandons family and opened our presents and enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy the rest of Christmas day.

November

I am a little behind on posting but I thought better catch up a little bit. The month of November went by so fast with having a new baby, Seths birthday, Krystal having Knight, Thanksgiving, my moms birthday and my dads birthday, it all was sort of a blur!

First we celebrated Seths 3rd birthday, we had a birthday party for him on his birthday and of course he wanted a Cars theme so that's what he got! He had a fun day and got spoiled by everyone. It is so sad to think he is 3 already, time needs to stop and let me enjoy him being young. He has been such a blessing in our family I can't imagine life without him! We love him and am so grateful to be his mom!
Second little Knight was born! We are so grateful everything went well and he arrived here safe and healthy. He is so stinking cute! It will be so fun to have the three little boys so close in age and growing up together, we night have our hands full but that just means there will never be a dull moment with them around. Congratulations Bryan, Krystal and Kash!

Then we had Thanksgiving and it was a fun and relaxing day. We went to Brandon's parents this year for dinner and it was as delicious as always! I love Thanksgiving it makes me stop and think of all the things I am grateful for and every year my list gets bigger and bigger! I have so many things to be grateful for I don't even know where to begin. One of the number one things I am grateful for is my family, my boys, and of course Brandon. I love them all and everything they do for me.

Dax came out ready for some real food! He was one of those 1 in every 2000 babies born with teeth! We where a bit surprised when he came out with a tooth and the other tooth is shortly going to be popping through any time!

Well Dax is already a month old and I don't know where the time went! Dax has been such a good little baby so far, lets hope it stays that way! He had his one month check up and he is now 9lbs 3oz and 21 3/4in tall and he is as healthy as can be. Seth has been the best big brother and is very protective over him, he has to know were he is at all time and gets very worried when he is crying. Seth loves to talk to him and try to get him to play toys with him. It has been such a blessing to have Dax in our family! Pictures of Dax throughout the month he has been with us!

Halloween 2010

I am a little behind on my Halloween post! We had a fun Halloween this year we stayed busy with all the activities going on and all the family that was home. On Friday we took Kash and Seth out to my moms school were they did the spook parade and activities they had going on in her room. On Saturday we went and visited all the relatives around, then we went trunk or treating and trick or treating then finally made it home around 10:00 at night. Pumpkin Patch

The weekend before we had Dax we went on out last family outing with just Seth. Bryan, Krystal and Kash came with us to a Pumpkin Patch in Idaho Falls. It was such a cute little pumpkin patch they had a mini corn maze that the boys had fun running around in it. They also had a little train ride going around the farm that they went on a couple times, and then of course picking out their pumpkins! That was the first pumpkin patch that we have taken Seth to and he loved it after we left we decided we will make sure we go to one every year cause he had so much fun at it and getting to pick out his own pumpkin!

The Nursery

Dax's room got finished just a couple weeks before he was born, I was lucky to get it done cause I didn't have much motivation with this baby! But once it was done I was glad I made myself get it done!! I am so grateful for my mom and her talent, she made all my crib bedding and the curtains so they all go together so well! Here is the final job! Seth was such a good little helper. He was way more of a helper than I needed when it came to painting thought! He only leaned against the wall once and then after I took this picture he stepped back into the paint tray! But he sure had fun helping me paint!

Dax Blake McNeel

Dax arrived on October 20, 2010 around 8:00AM! He weighed 7lbs 8oz 19in. He is perfect and we are glad he is here healthy and strong. My delivary was pretty easy this time I was scheduled to go in on Wednesday morning at 6:30AM and had him by 8:00AM, and got to leave the hospital Friday afternoon. Here are some pictures from the hospital: Brandon walking out with Dax just minutes after he was born Seth waiting patiently to see his little brother! He has been the best big brother and taken the adjustment very well! He is so protective and always very concerned about his little brother. He had to stay with me and Dax at the hospital on our last night there cause he didn't want to leave his baby brother there so Brandon and Seth slept on the couch in our room and Seth watched to make sure he knew were Dax was all night and morning until we got to go home! Dax not even a day old Brandon with his Boys First time I got to hold him and see him We are excited to have Dax be apart of our family. Thank you to everybody who came to the hospital and our house to visit and to our families for helping out with Seth so much! We couldn't have done it without you guys!

Yay baby Boden Shay Young is here, and is SOOOO Cute!! He was born on Saturday October 16, 2010 and weighed 7lbs 1oz. It has been so fun being pregnant with my sister but since we are so close together we were not able to be at the hospital with each other and that has been SO hard, so I will be glad when Amy and Skyler get to come home in a couple weeks then we will get to meet little Boden and they will get meet our little guy! Congratulation Amy and Skyler he is precious!

We through Amy a baby shower a couple weeks ago when she was home. It turned out cute and she had a good turnout! I hope she enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed planning and decorating for it!

We are excited and ready for October and November to come! Amy is due October 22, I am scheduled to go in October 20 and Krystal is due November 30th and we are all expecting BOYS! So we are preparing and anxious to meet all the little boys!

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor day weekend we went camping with Brandon's family on Thursday and went home on Sunday. We love going camping, this time we went for lots of 4-wheeling rides, playing in the creek, and lots of resting time! Once we got home from camping we went to the fair with our niece's and nephews and let Seth ride some rides it took him awhile to get used to them but once he did he didn't want to get off! Better Late Than Never

We have had alot going on this summer and I just didn't make time to post about all the fun things we were up to!

Seth and I went to Vegas to stay with Amy and Skyler in August. It was so fun but it was HOT!! This was Seths first flying experience, he loved it and did so good I was a little nervous taking by him by myself but he loved all most everything about it. He did however hate the security checks he freaked out when it came to taking off his shoes and putting his stroller through the scanners but after we got past that he was fine and loved riding in a BIG airplane. It was so fun to be able to see Amy and Skylers new house that they have decorated up so CUTE and be able to spend some time together. Thanks Amy and Skyler for the fun weekend!

After Vegas we had a Dance family reunion. This was the first official reunion we have had with my side of the family. We had so much fun we went camping for the weekend and then on Saturday the guys went golfing and the girls took the boys swimming we meet up later that day for another night of camping! It was fun to spend so much time with my family it is never a dull moment when we all get together!

Little Helper

Seth loves to help me cook dinner at night for dad and he loves to tell Brandon when he gets home from work that he cooked dinner for dad! One night I was cooking dinner and I didn't want him be by the stove so I had him on the other counter were he couldn't harm anything (I thought)! He saw me get into the flour and he thought it would be a good idea for him to get some to cook with, I turned my back for a few minutes and I turned around to this on my counter! He was in heaven and having so much fun and being entertained that I just let him finish playing in it while I cooked dinner. After that I decided it was much easier to cook without a little helper around! However I did not enjoy cleaning it up and having to throw all that flour away!

Camping

This summer we have taken on camping! We have been a couple of times and plan on going a couple more before the summer ends. Zach was nice enough to buy a camp trailer so it has been so much easier to go camping! This was our first camping trip of the summer. We went up to Big Springs, it so so beautiful up their, we went on a walks, lots of four wheeling, and of course lots of relaxing time! Summer Fun part 1

It has been a busy summer so far, we have been busy trying to keep up with all the summer activities going on and trying to enjoy it while we can. For the last 3 weeks my mom has been watching Stephanies kids. While they were here we have been having so much fun we went camping, boating, water park, park (alot), shopping, and the drive inn movie to see Toy Story 3.
