Here is a little joke today for April Fools day.

A man goes to the doctor and says to the doctor:
"It hurts when I press here" (pressing his side)
"And when I press here" (pressing the other side)
"And here" (his leg)
"And here, here and here" (his other leg, and both arms)

So the doctor examined him all over and finally discovered what was wrong... "You've got a broken finger!

Haha!

Thinking about become a Allied Health Traveler. One the most important tips for getting started is Up to date credentialing. Many reasons including determining an accurate start date. 2. Be 100% honest, remember there is no such thing as a little white lie!

3. Be passive-aggressive, not aggressive-passive!

4. Time can be your enemy, but it can also be your best friend!

5. ALWAYS be available when you say you will, first impressions DO count!

City Spotlight Seattle, WA

I wanted to let everyone know that I currently have several Physical Therapy openings in and around the Seattle area. I have needs in both hospitals and within outpatient clinics. All of these opportunities are for 13 week contracts, with the possibility of extensions.

Volunteering Leads to Pay

I wanted to dedicate my blog this week to volunteer work. As most of us know, everyone is hurting right now. But even in our times of struggle sometimes the best thing we can do is reach out and help other people. So physical, occupational, and speech therapists traveling to all areas of the United States gives you a truely unique opportunity to volunteer and help in so many ways. Whether your on an allied travel assignment in Louisianna, California, Florida, or Colorado the possibilities are endless for volunteer work. I was reading an article on Yahoo yesterday that actually spoke about Volunteering leading to pay, and we all know any extra money is always a good thing. I have posted the video below for anyone who is interested!
