It is a must to celebrate nice christmas everywhere in the world. We have a nice dinner with friend, like a big family :-) This is not about religious thing, but we just want to have a nice party while we are abroad. I am really glad with everything that we can do to make this year's christmas so unforgettable and so beautiful.

We also provide water for Internally displaced people due to flood.

Our team also provide psychosocial support

Now I am in Pakistan. Everyone always think that Pakistan is one of the most dangerous place in the world. But one think that I only see here is the friendliness of the people. From Cool and freezy Islamabad at the north I flew to Sindh Province that is Sandy and dusty desert. The Sindh people in fact are the most respectful and friendly that I have ever met.

Pakistan is so unique, they have desert, snowy and breeze mountain, also the second highest mountain in the world. They are mixing between Asia and midle east even erope.

As a Islamic Republic, they are tolerant and have incredible faith. They are peace loving and like to help each other tough they are hard as rock but they have golden heart inside.

Barcelona is little bit different than any other country in central Europe. You will be amazed. From Gaudi (Famous architect) with his modern design from Casa, Garden to Cathedral. It make Gaudi is well respected person who built and beautify the city.

Do not forget to see the beautiful beach and La Marina along Mediterranean Sea. You will be amazed!!
Enjoy Pailla and Sangria. One of the exotic and very special dishes of Catalunya dishes.

There is no single word can describe how beautiful is the city. Enjoy!!

Temple Expiatory de La Sagrada Familia
The church development was started at 1882 by Fransisco de Paula del Vilar. A year and half later Antoni Gaudi took over and turned the initial project. He designed it with unique technique. The church suffered many destruction due to civil war. After 128 years the development is still ongoing and passed halfway. The church has been built based on Antonio Gaudi Master plan and model. The church can be called as Grandmaster of his creation. He built with plastr model scale and some with hanging sandbag model to create ovale model of the building as you can see in his creation.

Casa Mila La Pridrera is one of Gaudi creation. It is located in the middle of Barcelona. Its magnitude, all the little details and the perfect and astonishing design make it worth to be visited. I was not lucky as there were long queue so I do not have time to enter and enjoy the interior of the building.

Bangka Pancake (Martabak manis), Bean curd juice is one of Chinese influential culinary in bangka.

Bangka with its richness buried within it, has been attracted so many people since colonial times.
Now I have a good opportunity to visit this beauty. In Pangkalpinang, you can enjoy Seafood that famous with its freshness and taste. You also enjoy Bangka pancake (Martabak manis or Terang Bulan). There are so many beautiful beaches. One of it is Parai Beach. I can say, Bangka can be one of favorite destination to have honey moon or weeding ceremony.
Thanks for our friend and sister Renata to show us the beauty of Bangka Island.

Palembang, once was the great center of Srivijaya Kingdom. It was one of the great center of Buddha.
One of the landmark of modern Palembang is Ampera bridge, which is connect Northern part of the city and the southern part. It could be lifted up to allow ship passing the river which divide the city into two part. From the city, we can go to exotic island - Bangka Belitung by Jet foil or by airplanes.

Enjoy its beauty and enjoy its royal culinary from Pempek - Mie Celor - Mie aloy - Pindang Patin to durian (kings Fruit).
It is worth to try !!

PS : The city personally is really special for me :-)

The highest peak is Mount everest - there is track that gping to Base Camp of everest from Lukka. Took anapurna circuit you will see another angle of the view of Himalaya. Enjoy !! - this is one of the Natural Wonder It is worthed to see and visit.

One Day Excursion to Classic Old Dhaka (Dacca) Bangladesh

is the beautiful jewel hidden within crowd and busy capital of Dhaka Metropolitan City

Many interesting and jewel hidden within the city. You will be amazed and you will love to travel and learn the greatness of South Asian Empire heritage.

Cuisine also a must in the the area, as they have so many classic, good, and genuine traditional food for more than 100 years.

This excursion was possible with the help of friend and brother in Bangladesh dr Md. Mofijul Islam (Shuvro), with his motor bike, we traveled around try to find and see hidden jewel in the city :-)

Rickshaw is common mean of transportation in Old Dhaka for centuries.
It makes Dhaka is The Rickshaw Capital of the World !
more than 500.000 rickshaw run every day in the city.

You will expect this picture not just in Old Dhaka but in entire the country. Children have to work as they are unfortunate that they have to be born in poor or even extremely poor family.

This is the official residential palace and seat of the Dhaka Nawab Family
Nawab Khwaja Allimulah bought it from the French in 1830 and converted it into his residence, effecting necessary reconstruction and renovations. The final reconstruction was done by Martin.
The building was influenced by European (british-French) architecture mixed with Middle east architecture, created amazing and beautiful combination

Lalbagh Fort

The tomb of Bibi Pari (favourite daughter of Mughal Subadar Shaista Khan), located in the center. It has symetrically beautiful fountain in 4 direction. Eight rooms surround a central square room that contains the mortal remains of Bibi Pari. the interior is embelished by marble stones, black basalt and glazed tile. The roof is covered with masive overlapped courses of black basalt. The central room is covered by a fals octagonal-shaped dome, wrapped by a Copper plate.
The entire inner wall of the central room is covered with white marble, while the four rooms at the sides had stone skirting up to a height of one metre. The walls in the rooms at the four corners are skirted with beautifully-glazed floral tiles. The tiles have recently been restored; two of the original tiles have been retained. The room at the south eastern corner contains a small grave, popularly known to be of that of Shamsad Begum, possibly a relative of Bibi Pari
Right at south side close of the tomb there is small grave of the leutenant of the Mughal and 2 small tomb of unknown children.

This building is believed used as Administration office. Now this building is used as a museum

The west side area close to the stable, parallel to the south fortified wall, once had a beautiful roof garden with fountain, rose, flower beds (marked with star designs), and a water reservoir. The buildings underneath contains the administrative blocks, and the residential part on the western side.

This is the incomplete part of the Fort located in the South east corner of the fort
In this unfinished part they built a tunnel that said that could connect Dhaka to the part of India.

Lalbagh Fort is an incomplete Mughal palace fortress at the Burigangga River in the southwestern part of Dhaka. Construction was commenced in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam during his 15-month long viceroy of Bengal, then he was recalled to assist his father in the war against the Marhattas. His successor,Nawab Shaista Khan, did not complete the work, he ruled in Dhaka up to 1688. His daughter Iran Dukht AKA Pari Bibi (Fairy Lady) died here in 1684. He built grave in the center of the fort. It was believed that the project was stopped because of prince's favorite daughter death.
The fort has quite impresive water system at that time. with water reservoir at east side.

it is believed that though the Mughals founded Dhaka, Bengal was definitely inhabited long before the Muslims came to the area.

At the end of the day, You should enjoy the traditional bangla food in Lalbargh (close to the fort). Chicken or Beef or Mutton Kabab accompanied with Cucumber special Salad, Special buter tandooroti or Naan. You have to try their special mixed Lassi (yoghurt mixed with special nut and herbs). Believe me, your day will be perfect ! :-)

As former colony of British and former part of Pakistan, they have long history and the sad thing is bloody history. They built a beautiful monument called National Martyr Monument in Savar, District of Dhaka with beautiful huge garden surround it.
It has already more than 30 year from the independence day, but we're still able to see a lot of children who have to work to feed their family.

Old Dhaka, Bangladesh

Marriage, one of colorful culture in bangladesh, with blending culture from Bangladesh India and Pakistan make this country attractive and interesting. It is so colorful and uniqely romantic. Bangladesh couples have to hold ceremonial two times, one is held by the bride and the other is held by the groom. There is a tradition that they has to bargaining for the money before entering the venue, this is the most interesting and enthusiastic moment in the ceremony. Another thing that, there are so many Community Place flourished in Bangladesh (Dhaka, I can say), this is place for marriage and any other cultural and tradition ceremony, as they don not have enough space in the city.

I was lucky that I was invited by my good friend to this beautiful wedding, thanks for dr Shuvro :-)

Budhist Teracota Monestary in Comila City, Bangladesh is the proof that it was one of the center of Budhist religion.
As Bangladesh lies in South Asian continent, they have similar culture and way of life with India and Pakistan, though they have different religion. Hindu and Budha become part of bangladesh also, as they are many hindu and budha heritage left in the country.

Srimongol is the center of tea. It is located in sylhet distric and close to the border of india and bangladesh. It is the haven of good and well known tea estate in Bangladesh. With highest rain rate in Bangladesh, make this town relatively cooler than any other area in Bangladesh. You will escape from busy, crowded and polluted atmosphere of dhaka and also you will be able to feel the freshness of srimongol air.
We took train to have more view of Bangladesh beauty - it was nice, but there was minor "things" as you will have cockroach as your travel companion in the train. But at the end it will not bugger you anymore as you will be used to it!!
