Your Smokies expands business listings to the brand new Your Smokies Directory

Your Smokies Information web site is now entering its 5th year of covering the North Carolina and Tennessee Smoky Mountains and has just split off most of its business listings to the brand new Your Smokies Directory in anticipation of its continued explosive growth and the changes we are projecting in the Search Engine Industry.

Most travel related business will continue to be listed on the main Your Smokies Informational web site, but the listings of other business in the N Carolina and Tennessee Smokies such as Real Estate agents and offices, banks, car repair, retail stores, jewelry stores, outlet malls and more have been moved to the Your Smokies Directory.

Both sites easily interconnect for ease of its visitors and of course Your Smokies News will promote news of interest for both Your Smokies and the new Your Smokies Directory.

Between June of 2004 and June of 2006 the Federal Reserve increased the Federal Funds rate 17 times. This rate directly impacts all short term interest rates such as the Prime Rate. During the same period of time the long term rates remained more or less steady. The net effect was to close the gap between rates on shorter term mortgages like the 15 year fixed and longer term mortgages like the 30 year fixed. At the time of this writing the rates on these two loan products happen to be exactly the same.

It has been a long road since Mean Cash started operations in 2001 and we can keep in the excitement of what we are launching any more.

In the past few months we have started releasing our new directory web sites - three in all with the largest one to be released in late 2007.

Unfortunately with all of the spam we have to deal with on a daily basis with all of our sites, you can no longer post comments to this or any of our other blogs without them being moderated

As long as you do not spam or post obscene material we welcome all comments and suggestions and will post all of them whether we agree with them or not.

So many spam and scam emails pour into our inboxes every day, we built My Crap Mail dot COM and list may of the culprits and expose the scams> We have also instituted an extremely strict spam policy. We are sorry to take such drastic measures but a few unreasonable people have forced us to make this move.

On a last note, in order to keep our mail system from being overloaded by mountains of spam we use Spam Blocker Pro.
