Even Adam and Eve the original duo had God as their parent but that's taking it a bit too far. Today's modern parent strives at making our teenage life a living hell. The sad part is we have no choice but to obey them till we MOVE OUT. Seriously I would love to know who invented that stupid rule. Till that time when I find the rule's creator and Deal with him you can amuse yourself by reading in just how many ways parents make your life a living hell...

Curfews. The most common problem facing all teens of my age. These curfews act as an invisible law telling you till what time you can stay out and when you must return home. Most parents set curfews at a reasonable time e.g 10 30pm but some can go to serious extremes. This mean no late night parties, no hanging with your friends, and definitely NO STAYING UP LATE.

Control issues. Almost all parents at some point of their lives have had control issues. This usually happens when their children are growing up which can be very hard to adapt to. Parents like to be charge of things in their life and an uncontrollable teenager can come as a shock to them. Common signs of control issues are: Freaking out when you bring a girl/boy home; Shocked when you ask for more pocket money ( seriously they need to adjust to inflation ); Amused that you think you can do something by yourself AND WORST OF ALL they refuse to accept that you're not a child anymore.

Eating habits. Usually a mom or grandparent related issue , they don't understand how you can eat artificially created and chemically infused foods. This usually leads to ("When I was a young boy/girl we didn't have any of this, instead we ate pure wholesome blah blah blah!!!"), talks which can be quite boring and irritating to listen to. Seriously like any of them would ever care what they were talking about if they ever tried a REDBULL

The Clean Freak. One of the most irritating things parents can do is force you to clean your room. If your gonna call it MY room why not just let ME be in charge of cleaning it. You might as well call it the room in which I just happen to sleep in and must be kept clean by me at all times. The worst part about clean freak parents is that they confuse books lying on your bed or clothes not put away as an act of sin which must be dealt with.

Study study study study!!! It seems that the major goal in parents life is to make us study. From day one when you are born a book is shoved into your face and your forced to mug stuff that you don't understand. Seriously like when is learning what a volcano is ever going to be useful, and WHO cares about history when were just learning about the dead. Seriously our parents have got to realize that they have to stop forcing us to learn stuff that we'll never use and rather focus on more important things like when our allowance increase will become effective

Thinking that they're better than you. This sadly is a trait inherited by most parents from their parents. They feel that just because they're older and more mature it makes them wise enough to take charge of our lives. It's sad that not one of them realizes that in order to truly be appreciated by their children they must learn to treat them like equals. They always seem to feel that whatever they say is the right thing to sad. In reality most parents can learn a thing or two from their kids by simply listening to what they have to say

Technology haters. It's seems like with every new year parents are falling far behind on technological understanding. Who can blame them as a few decades ago no one had ever heard of PMs or blackberries. However I feel that they're going a bit too far when they set limits on the amount of time you can use the computer or your mobile giving weak excuses such as ' Go out and breathe some fresh air and play with your friends' just to get us to stop using them. What they don't understand is that while the rest of the world is busy communicating using the internet, we're stuck outside breathing FRESH AIR. Oh yeah in Dubai breathing fresh air is not an option as you'll likely suffer sun stroke :P

The Embarrassing And Interfering Factor. The worst part of all parents is that they live to embarrass you. Be it wearing ridiculous clothes in front of your friends or just HAPPENING to show your baby pictures to all of their coworkers. Even technology savvy parents embarrass you by posting on your wall on Facebook. Also parents seriously need to set some boundaries about how much they can interfere in your life. It seems that parents always seem to fear the worst when you tell them that you did 'NUTHIN' in school when in reality you actually did nothing. The worst kind of parents are those who interrogate about every little detail of your life until you can stand it no more.

But this all applies to everyone else parents, not mine.

You may call it PREJUDICE, I call it LOVE!!!

I hope you enjoyed reading today's post. It is sheer torture to take your animal out for a walk in the scorching streets of Dubai where temperatures can rise to 48 degrees Celsius. However, there are other alternatives such as guinea pigs (or any other small rodents), fish or even birds...While these smaller animals may have a better chance of surviving Dubai's climate, since they're most of the time indoors and in an air-conditioned environment, they still need to be taken care of. So today I thought I would talk to you about basic animal care for your pets and how to keep them happy. :)

DOGS

Dogs, the king of all pets :)...You've got to admit they look damn cute...Play with u, Care for u, Love u dogs, Give you their unfailing loyalty and so have rightfully earned the title of man's best friend...However taking care of them can be a bit more problematic. Here are a few tips to make their lives more comfortable :

They need walks at least twice in one day (trust me you'll be the one with the hyper active four month old in your house who is messing up your living room if you don't do this)

In order to maintain good hygiene brushing their teeth is important ...Try to use a soft toothbrush and brush regularly to avoid gum disease

Fleas. A dog's worst friend and it can be yours too (You'll be itching too)...A regular brushing with flea powder using a soft brush as well monthly baths are important to prevent this (make sure you use a dog shampoo and not 'Head & Shoulders'!!)

Contrary to popular belief dogs need not eat MEAT!!! In fact if you give a diet purely based on meat he'll become lethargic and sick. Dogs will eat vegetables if you simply sprinkle the water in which the meat was cooked over the food.

Their claws will also need to be cut ever so often. Dogs have a small part of their nails filled with blood called the BLOODLINE so be careful not to cut that

Finally and most important.DOGS NEED COMPANIONS. Be it animal or human ...dogs blend well with other animals (cats included) and will become lonely if they don't have a companion with them

CATS

The YOUTUBE sensations...For the past year cats have been popping up on youtube doing a number of ridiculous tricks ...Besides there recently discovered stardom there is a lot to them than just youtube stunts. It can be amusing to watch jump onto your furniture (mind the hairs) or else see them sprawl out in the sun...They too will need considerable care and following these tips will ensure it

Exercise.Cats in Dubai tend to become seriously obese (like pregnant looking) by doing nothing at all (No thanks to 'Whiskas' the most fattening cat food alive) so to prevent this they will need considerable exercise .The easiest way to do this is to get them YARN...yes the stringy thing you see cats play with in cartoons actually works since it amuses cats for a while ...Be warned though that you'll be the one picking up the string

Scratching.Cats will need to sharpen there claws every now and then and if you don't have a scratching post say bye bye to your precious curtains. Before you start panicking fear not as its quite simple to make your own scratching post .Simply wrap a cardboard roll in cloth and let your cat scratch away

Kitty litter.Hell in the form of an aroma. As cats don't necessarily take walks they will do there BUSINESS elsewhere and if you don't have a litter box beware the worst .However it easy to make your own as a tub filled with sand will be ideal ...

The most important thing to beware of is UNWANTED BREEDING .Living in Dubai where cats roam the streets can be quite problematic if your cat is not neutered.Even cats can get std s and therefore its important to get your cat spayed and soon as possible.

ZE FURRY RODENTS

Ze small furry creatures hate loud noise so keep the T.V on low when they're nearby

<div style="color: blue; Bird poo can be seriously disgusting...Now while I'm not pointing any fingers i happen to have several friends who have had either a crow or a pigeon do its business on their heads :P...If your keeping your birds in a cage make sure that its newspaper lined to ensure limited mess

Cage.If your one of those people who like keeping creatures trapped in cages at least have the heart to give them a good one.Make sure your bird cage is in a cool and shady spot and is large enough for the bird to at least fly about

Company. In the wild birds lived in groups so its only fair that they'll want company...Love birds usually come in pairs but if your buying a parrot at least buy him a mate or something that will keep him entertained

WARNING.Just like ze small furry creature certain birds don't respond well to certain foods...For eg: Giving parrots avocados can be fatal to them so watch out

Well that's it for what I have to say today I hope my post at least wasn't a complete waste of time!!!

Oh yeah to the friends out there who are reading this ... I hope you dont mind I "borrowed" some of your pictures from FB so credits to them

ciao...

Creation of Something NEW

Everyday each of us get the chance to try something new...be it small, large, insignificant or important its always there waiting for us to reach out and grasp it.But most of us never know what it feels to try something new ...the reason is we fear of how our life will change by being involved in something different...However today i decided to try something new and deciding is the first step to succeeding... thanks to a certain friend's advice i decided to start my very own blog ...Normally im more of a person who shuts out others from his life so opening up to the entire internet is a big thing for me...it doesnt mean that im afraid but rather reproachful however one must always try and experience new things in life so im going to try and make this thing work ...Hope u enjoyed reading the very first post of my new blog

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;
