ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Addition came to Bastrop, Texas to build a new home for a firefighter’s family who lost their home while fighting the fires to save others homes. Media1250 was happy to participate in this worthwhile project by shooting and producing a behind the scenes “making of” documentary for the project. It was great working with all of the crew and volunteers who helped bring the Christmas spirit to the family that received the new home.

Glad to be back from a successful shoot in Boca del Toro, Panama. The
focus of the trip was shoot VFX plates for an upcoming production as
well as scouting additional locations for the movie.

The island provided diverse environments for shooting including
beaches and lagoons in addition to absolute desolate and thick jungle.
One of the highlights happened when our guide got lost. Can’t deny it,
that added a spirit that can’t be faked. Add to that the pounding rain
(and trying to keep the camera alive), mudslides and treacherous
terrain. All in all, a great adventure and successful shoot!

One catch… they’re all close friends. All 10 are going deep into the rainforest jungle of Panama together for 10 days on vacation and all hell breaks loose. 10 x 10.
