Sports Predictor is a computerised formula that predicts the outcomes of team-based sporting events using a series of objective criteria against actual historical data. The criteria used by the formula include: * Recent Overall Success * Recent Home or Away Success * Head to Head Success * Days Rest Since Last Game * Who Has the Opposing Team Beaten Recently Each of these criteria are used with different weightings to produce the optimum formula for a particular sport. The formula consistently predicts outcomes with an accuracy of between 65% and 75% for any given sport for any given season. For sports with three common outcomes, the formula still predicts with an accuracy of between 50% and 60% for any given season. The application has limited free functionality.
