The results of the study showed a significant decrease in the pocks (discrete foci of cell proliferation and necrosis) count when the JE virus infection on CAM was challenged with homeopathic medicine Belladonna in different potencies, in comparison to placebo. The results of the study are published in the latest issue of the American Journal of Infectious Diseases, with the title ,Decreased Intensity of Japanese Encephalitis Virus Infection in chick Chorioallantoic Membrane under influence of Ultra diluted Belladonna Extract, by the Principal Investigator Dr Bhaswati Bandopadhyay, Assistant Professor of Virology, School of Tropical Medicine, Co-Investigator Dr Satadal Das, Pathology specialist, Dr Chandan Saha, Assistant Professor of Pharmacology(STM),Dr. Milan Sengupta, Research Associate and scientists of Central Council for Research in Homeopath. JE presents a significant risk to humans and animals, particularly in Southeast Asia (including India), where around 50,000 cases and 10,000 deaths occur per year, essentially affecting the children below 10 years of age. The statistics reveal that about 50 per cent of the patients who develop Japanese encephalitis suffer from permanent neurological defects and 30% of them die due to the disease.

Further, the JE virus has shown a tendency to extend to other geographic areas. The outcome of the study was also presented by Dr.

Bandopadhyay at the 25th Clinical Virology Symposium held from April 19to 22 2009 by the PAN American Society for Clinical Virology, Florida, the US. This study is a fitting reply to the critics and sceptics of Homeopathy who have been denouncing the therapy as placebo. What can you do?

Look at the food you’re feeding your body and replace some of the belly busters with slimming treats. You know you can’t eat 4,000 calories a day and get great abs, but it’s not just about the calorie count when it comes to a flat stomach – it’s also about the food.

“All things being equal, if your daily caloric intake is set at 1,400 calories, a diet of nutrient-rich foods is going to keep you fuller longer, reducing your cravings and giving you more energy, compared to the same number of calories of less nutritious food, which will help you on your road to a better body,” says registered dietitian Tracey Ryan.

The five foods you’ll need for flatter abs will help you be healthier and leaner. Plus, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by some of our diet suggestions

1. Orange Fruits and Veggies: According to a recent review from Copenhagen University Hospital, the best way to whittle down your waist is to replace carbohydrates from sugar and refined grains (like white bread) with carbs from fruits and vegetables. Orange-hued foods were found to be the most effective substitutes.

Since fruits and vegetables are high in fiber, they keep you feeling full longer and researchers believe the high levels of antioxidants like vitamin C and beta-carotene fend off the belly fat. Get a good dose of beta-carotene from carrots, cantaloupe, squash and peaches. You can get your vitamin C from oranges and berries, but remember that fruit juice is not a good substitute for the real thing.

2. Flat Ab Foods: Orange Fruits and Veggies
Keywords: abs, health foods, healthy foods, healthy living, orange, orange foods, oranges
Add Comment Email Page Bookmark Page Post on Twitter Share on Facebook

1. Nuts: A recent survey of more than 8,000 Americans found that selenium, a cancer-fighting mineral, seemed to also lower rates of abdominal obesity, reporting that those with lower levels of selenium had larger waistlines.

Several foods contain selenium, so it’s hard to know if you’re getting your recommended 55 mcg per day. The best sources are nuts (especially Brazil nuts), whole grains, poultry, red meat and seafood. Foods rich in vitamin E, such as nuts and seeds, will increase the effectiveness of selenium in the body.
Your best bet to get enough selenium is to eat a varied, balanced diet or try a supplement containing the mineral
4.

4. Wine: Several studies suggest that light drinking, compared to teetotaling, protects against weight gain around the waistline in women. Data reviewed by the National Center for Health Statistics points to one 4-ounce glass of wine as the best bet.

The key to boozing and losing is the “less is more” philosophy. While one glass has great health benefits, having more is just going to add inches to your waist and cause you to think you’re funnier, smarter and better looking than you really are. The only 6-pack you should be having is the one under your shirt.

5.

5. Fish: There’s a difference between good and bad fats. Eating good fats like monounsaturated and omega-3s make it easier to stay slim, according to recent research.

“The healthy fats, like monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, are found in fish, nuts, olive oil and avocado, while the bad fats, like saturated and trans are found in butter, shortening, pre-packaged cakes and cookies,” Ryan says.

A Wake Forest University study found that over a 6-year period, participants whose only source of fat was trans fats gained 30 percent more fat in their abdominal region and had early signs of diabetes. You don’t have to fear fats if you know which are good and bad.

Exercise and follow these simple guidelines and you’ll be on your way to an abs-olutely amazing midsection!

Not to miss having delicious food all day long How about having pizza or pasta? Yummy, isn’t it? Well think again..!! Remember the saying “you are what you eat”. Diet plays a vital role in the maintenance of good health and in the prevention and treatment of disease. One slice of pizza usually has at least 300 calories, so it doesn't take long to eat most of your day's calorie needs in one sitting. Interestingly, since it is also difficult for many people to estimate portion sizes for wedge-shaped foods, overeating can be very easy. We don't typically think of pizza as a component of a healthy diet because it is high in total fat, saturated fat, sodium and calories but what to do if you really LOVE IT? I have a solution, be sure to eat a healthy green salad first so that you feel fuller before indulging -- and don't end up eating half of the pizza.

Research continues to prove that eating healthy food promotes good health and unhealthy food habits lead to a diseased body but healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, and keeping yourself as healthy as possible– all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works for you.

Healthy eating begins with learning how to “eat smart”—it’s not just what you eat, but how you eat. Your food choices can reduce your risk of illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, as well as defend against depression. Additionally, learning the habits of healthy eating can improve your health by boosting your energy, sharpening your memory and stabilizing your mood. Expand your range of healthy food choices and learn how to plan ahead to create and maintain a satisfying, healthy diet.

Ria Rawal, Nutritionist

The other parts are scalp, joints etc. People think it is an infectious disease but in reality it is non infectious in nature.

It is some times seen in families showing some genetic component. In our practice we founf it more commonly in smokers than non smokers. It is a chronic recurrent problem marker by relapses. It is known in literture to be affected by usage of allopathic medicines, sun, stress etc.

It is generally termed as incurable disease in allopathic and traditional medicine.
Whereas, we have seen over hundred patients which have been not only relieved through our advanced homeopathic medicines at mediplex but also cured. The proofs and record are kept at our clinic and we are sharing with online patients of psoriasis. We will be adding photographs as well as live videos of patients suffering from psoriasis as well as people who have been cured. Cure means cure not relief for 1 season or two. We follow up our patients for 2-10 years just to ascertain and prove our therapies work.

Now we will share cases of several patients

A) Simran 19/Female was suffering from severe psoriasis of soles with cracks and pain. Pain was so severe that she used to cry and weep, her daily actvities such as ging to college or school was affected. She could not go to social parties due to bad condition of her feet. Even in summers she used to wear socks. Her photographs for first day of consultation are at www.mediplex.in/skin/cases/simran.html and video also. After a month of treatment she was dramatically relieved and was able to walk and attend to her college.

Visit www.mediplex.in

Other instructions from older GM plans

During the first seven days you must abstain from all alcohol
You must drink 10 glasses of water each day

Day One All fruits except bananas. Your first day will consist of all the fruits you want. It is strongly suggested that you consume lots of melons the first day. Especially watermelon and a loupe. If you limit your fruit consumption to melons, your chances of losing three lbs. on first day are very good.

Day Two All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount or type. For your complex carbohydrate, you will start day two with a large baked potato for breakfast. You may top the potato with one pat of butter.

Day Three A mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount, any quantity. No bananas yet. No potatoes today.

Day Four Bananas and milk. Today you will eat as many as eight bananas and drink three glasses of milk. This will be combined with the special soup which may be eaten in limited quantities.

Day Five Today is feast day. You will eat beef and tomatoes. Eat two 10 oz. portions of lean beef. Hamburger is OK. Combine this with six whole tomatoes. On day five you must increase your water intake by one quart. This is to cleanse your system of the uric acid you will be producing.

Day Six Beef and vegetables. Today you may eat an unlimited amount of beef and vegetables. Eat to your hearts content.

Day Seven Today your food intake will consist of brown rice, fruit juices and all the vegetables you care to consume.

Tomorrow morning you will be 10-17 lbs. lighter than one week ago. If you desire further weight loss, repeat the program again. You may repeat this program as often as you like, however, it is suggested that you are allowed two glasses of white wine in addition to the instructions on the program. You may substitute champagne for white wine. Under no circumstances are you to drink any other alcoholic beverages with the exception of beer which is allowed. Any liquor (bourbon, vodka, rum) is forbidden. Cream drinks are especially forbidden. You may have an occasional cordial such as creme de menthe or schnapps, but you must always limit yourself to two drinks. If you wine, drink only wine that day. If you have beer, drink only beer that day, etc. Alcohol adds empty calories to your diet. However, after the first week it will help your digestion and settle your stomach.

G.M.'S Wonder Soup

The following soup is intended as a supplement to your diet. It can be eaten any time of the day in virtually unlimited quantities. You are encouraged to consume large quantities of this soup.

28 oz, Water, 6 Large Onions, 2 Green Peppers, Whole Tomatoes (fresh or canned), 1 Head Cabbage, 1 Bunch Celery, 4 Envelopes Lipton Onion Soup Mix, Herbs and Flavouring as desired.

Additional Comments

Vegetables as may be taken in the form of a salad if desired. No dressing except malt, white or wine vinegar, squeezed lemon, garlic, herbs. No more than one tea spoon of oil.

You have been given a recipe for the WONDER SOUP which can be eaten in unlimited quantities. This soup is a supplement while you are on the program and it should be a pleasure to eat. Not everyone likes cabbage, green peppers, calory etc. This recipe is not inflexible. You may substitute vegetables according to your taste. You may add any vegetables you like: asparagus, peas, corn, turnips, green beans, cauliflower, etc. Try to stay away from beans (lima, pinto, kidney, etc.), however, because they tend to be high in calories even though they are very good for you.

Beverages you may consume while on the program :

Water (flavoured with lemon/lime if desired).
Club Soda is OK.
Black Coffee. No cream or cream substitute. No sugar or sweetness.
Black Tea = Herb or Leaf.
Absolutely nothing else except the fruit juices which are part of day seven. No fruit juices before day seven.
How and Why It Works

Day One you are preparing your system for the upcoming programme. Your only source of nutrition is fresh or canned fruits. Fruits are nature's perfect food. They provide everything you could possibly want to sustain life except total balance and variety.

Day Two starts with a fix of complex carbo-hydrates coupled with an oil dose. This is taken in the morning for energy and balance. The rest of day two consists of vegetables which are virtually calorie free and provide essential nutrients and fibre.

Day Three eliminates the potato because you get your carbohydrates from the fruits. You system is now prepared to start burning excess pounds. You will still have cravings which should start to diminish by day four.

Day Four, bananas, milk and soup sound the strangest and least desirable. You're in for a surprise. You probably will not eat all the bananas allowed. But they are there for the potassium you have lost and the sodium you may have missed the past three days. You will notice a definite loss of desire for sweets. You will be surprised how easy this day will go.

Day Five, Beef and tomatoes. The beef is for iron and proteins, the tomatoes are for digestion and fibre. Lots and lots of water purifies your system. You should notice colourless urine today. Your allowance calls for the equivalent of five "quarter ponders". Do not feel you have to eat all this beef. You must eat the six tomatoes.

Day Six is similar to day five, Iron and proteins from beef, Vitamins and fibre from vegetables. By now your system is in a total weight loss inclination. There should be a noticeable difference in the way you look today, compared to day one.

Day Seven finished off the program like a good cigar used to finish off Victorian meals, except much healthier. You have your system under control and it should thank you for the flushing and cleaning you just gave it.

Gastric banding was performed at 12 weeks to help restrict food intake further.

The results showed an 80% reduction of pro-inflammatory T-helper cells, as well as reduced activation of other circulating immune cells (T cells, monocytes and neutrophils) and decreased activation of macrophages in fat.

The immune system is made up of many different kinds of cells that protect the body from germs, viruses and other invaders. These cells need to co-exist in a certain balance for good health to be maintained. Many factors, including diet and excess body fat, can tip this balance, creating cells that can attack, rather than protect, our bodies.

It has been known for some time that excess body fat, particularly abdominal fat, triggers the production of 'pro-inflammatory' immune cells, which circulate in the blood and can damage our bodies.

"Excess weight disorders now affect 50% of adult Australians, with obesity being the major cause of Type 2 diabetes and some cancers," said Katherine Samaras from Sydney's Garvan Institute of Medical Research. "The situation has reached crisis point, and people must be made aware that excess fat will affect their immune systems and therefore their survival."

Citation: A. It is a documented fact that overweight patients are more prone to suffer from diabetes.

This is because excess body fat triggers the production of inflammatory reactions and reduce insulin sensitivity, harden arteries and cause type 2 diabetes.

But now scientists say modest weight loss could bring down production of those attacking immune cells to the same level found in lean people.

For 55-year-old Delhi Business Man, Mr. Malhotra, the battle with weight gain began at an early age.

"My first memory of being overweight is probably in primary school when my mother and family sent me away to some friend's farm and they had lots of scones and jam and cream there," he said.

"I came back and my mother said she would have to get a new uniform for me. So I've been overweight since then.

"In 1988 I was 112 (kilograms). At that stage I started working and went up, at the worst, to 135 (kilograms)."

That is when Mr Malhotra's doctor diagnosed him with type 2 diabetes and told to him to lose weight if he wanted to avoid having to take daily injections of insulin.

So that is what he did, with the help of Mediplex Program www.mediplex.in.

"I had the surgery in November 2007 and I was 125 (kilograms) ... and I'm down to about 88 at the moment," he said.

Along the way, the advancing diabetes has been reversed.

"All my medications have been reduced in half," Mr Malhotra said.

He was one of 20 obese patients monitored for a landmark study conducted looking at the benefits of weight loss.

The Doctors at Mediplex Health conducted the study and similar results were reported at australian university.

"What we showed for the first time was that the inflammation that's in the circulation and in fat tissue that characterises the obesity that's associated with diabetes can be pretty much gutted by modest weight reduction," she said.

"I was heartened by it, deeply heartened I must say, because most people struggle so much to lose any amount of weight and here we can show a profound benefit with even a small weight reduction."

And it is cheaper than some of the options.

"People are spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars each year buying antioxidants and taking fish oils and all sorts of other things which are supposed to have anti-inflammatory action," she said.

"A little bit of calorie restriction and a modest amount of weight reduction will have a profound benefit."

While the study is an important advance for obese people with diabetes and other associated ailments, Professor Samaras says people are much better off if they avoid becoming obese in the first place.

Visit www.mediplex.in for more such results and talk to our doctors how your type 2 diabetes can be reversed.

Call at 9313520295

Expert says it is not enough to prompt significant weight loss. This has been point of debate. According to research focused on a overweight monkeys at the Oregon National Primate Research Center were fed to a high-fat diet for several years before a switch to standard monkey food, with 30 per cent fewer calories. Thereafer monkeys' weight and activity levels were tracked over a month. This group of monkeys showed much less than expected weight loss but this group also showed reduced activity. The reason could be lowering of BMR or activation of alternating biochemical pathways to reduce calorie expenditure. Further reduction of physical activity marked that why low calories diet fail to reduce weight.
Only monkeys fed standard food who also ran on a treadmill for an hour every day lost a significant amount of weight.

In a similar study at Mediplex Weight Loss Institute, we found that people who are only dieting through other dieticians tend to be lethargic and less motivated to do exercise. They were loosing less weight than people who were undergoing our complete program which includes yoga, exercise, meditation, machines, as well as special diet plan which was varying every third day. Patients of this group felt healthier and happy: more motivated and lost more weight than inactive group.

Write your feed back at

mediplex@gmail.com

www.mediplex.in
Doctors at Mediplex
P-15 A Jangpura Extn

These include children to engage in physical activity, yoga, reading & understanding food labels to avoid high calorie foods.

According to Mediplex campaign in New Delhi, have shown that these interventional strategies do have the potential to alter the course of the childhood obesity epidemic to some extent. "These types of behavioral and nutrition interventions in schools or within the home have only limited success in preventing weight gain in children," the authors say. "Obesity prevention must start as early as possible, since school-age children already have an unacceptably high prevalence of obesity and associated medical conditions."

Do you wish to engage you or your school in this program, then write to us at Mediplex@gmail.com

But researchers say little is known about the impact of weight loss surgery on the risk of pregnancy complications.
In the study, published in British Medical Journal, researchers compared the risk of high blood pressure-related pregnancy complications in 585 obese women aged 16-45 who had weight loss before or after pregnancy from 2002 to 2006.
The results showed that nearly 15% of women who delivered before weight loss had preeclampsia or eclampsia (the final stage of preclampsia if left untreated) compared to about 3% of women who had the surgery before delivery.
Overall, obese women who had weight loss surgery before pregnancy were 80% less likely to develop preeclampsia and eclampsia during pregnancy, and the risk of other blood pressure-related complications was also lower.
These lower rates of pregnancy complications were still evident after adjusting for the mother’s age at delivery, multiple pregnancy (twins or more), type of weight loss surgery, pre-existing diabetes, and type of health insurance.
Researcher Wendy L. Bennett, assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and colleagues say the results suggest that weight loss surgery should be considered for women of childbearing age with a BMI of 40 or more or a BMI of 35 or more with associated health problems.
In addition, they say more study is needed to examine long-term maternal and child health after pregnancies and deliveries following weight loss surgery
www.mediplex.in

They are way to expensive and dangerous for you. What you need is a safe, effective and affordable way to grow taller naturally and easily by using homeopathic medicine

it is seen that short height people are always tensed because of their height. Now you all can take a deep breath as now your height problem will be solved by Homeopathic treatment, yoga and nutritional counseling and supplement.

The homeopathic medicine acts mainly on three sites:-
1. Increase Growth Hormones Production

a. The growth is not only dependent on genetic but hormones equally plays important role in body's growth.

b. Your growth potential reduces especially after puberty because your pituitary gland becomes inactive. This medicine stimulates the pituitary gland to increased production of natural level of growth hormones, which causes growth of the cartilaginous portions of the vertebrae and the long bones.

2. Cartilages Growth

Al though most of your bones can't grow any longer after puberty, the articular cartilages that connect many bones can still grow thicker. Besides the distal potion on each vertebrae, the distal end of Femur and the proximal end of Tibia each can grow up to an inch, which gives another 2 inches extra height.
3. Spinal Column Extension
The Spinal column in upper body contributes significantly to r height because it accounts for 35% of total height.
One important component of the spine is inter-vertebral discs. These discs are located between each of 33 vertebrae. On average, your total discs account for one-quarter the length of your vertebral column - 4.5 to 6 inches for most people.

The thicker the discs, the longer your spinal column is and the taller you become.
Homeopathic medicine allows your height by expanding the discs and lengthening your spine.
Recent scientific research has proven that most young adults can still grow a few inches taller even after the bones in their lower body have become ossified. This is because besides the length of the femur bone, tibia bone, and other bones in the lower body, the length of the spinal column in the upper body also significantly contributes to human height.

One of the main questions people have about growing taller is whether it’s possible to grow taller even after puberty?
Yes, it is possible. We have many cases of customers in their late 20's and 30's and even beyond have reported positive results from our system and have grown several inches taller.
An average person, no matter what height he or she is, has the potential to be 2 - 4 inches taller, and often - even more!
Drs at mediplex includes famous senior homeopathic consultant specially for height increment, has treated several thousand cases during their 12 years of practice.
No side effects and after effects.
Height increases up to 15 cm.
It does not contains hormones or steroids.

For your convenient Treatment can also be send by courier for far off patients which includes DVD, medicines, supplements etc.

Contact
Mediplex Clinic® Headquarters:
P-15-A Jangpura Extn, New Delhi, India
Phone: (91) (011) (9313520295) and 9313314557
C34 A Kalkaji New Delhi India

Key words: Height Increase, Homeopathy, Yoga, Grow tall, Tall Kids

These hormones and chemicals are real culprit for causation of high blood pressure, heart diseases and type 2 diabetes. The association of these diseases with obesity is quite old and very frequently found in several population.

Though we require fat for our survival to give us warmth, act as an energy store house as well as cushion around our important organ but excessive storage of fat specially around belly region cause several diseases. Revealing this linkage is very complex:how obesity leads to type 2 diabetes. Mediplex staff is working day and night to find the exact mechanism for this.

At mediplex clinical studies, we found that reduction of type 2 diabetes, arthritis and hypertension is possible with sceintific weight loss practices.

By
Mediplex Expert Group on Obesity
www.mediplex.in

Multiply your height by itself, eg 1.7x1.7= 2.89.
2. Divide your weight (eg 80kg) by this figure.
3. 80 ÷ 2.89= 27.7.
27.7 is the BMI.

IDENTIFY THE RIGHT CAUSE
Weight gain or Obesity is a medical condition when body weight as well as fat content of body increased beyond a permissible limits. It is estimated that roughly 20-30 % population is obese or over weight (WHO 2007). This means obesity is a major health problem across the world which is treatable as well as preventable.
Obesity is responsible for emergence of several diseases in epidemic level as higher fat content predisposes the person to many serious problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack, arthritis etc
A person becomes overweight or obese because of one or more following reasons:
External Reasons
1. Sedentary Life style such as sitting job, lack of exercise etc
2. Food choice such as taking food rich in fats, carbohydrates etc
3. Medical Problems such as Low Thyroid activity, Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease, Menopause, Depression etc

Internal reasons

1. Heredity and Genes.
2. Reduction of Basal Metabolic Rate.

The first and foremost thing is to find out why you have gained weight. Is it because of over eating or lack of exercise? Most people will fall into these two categories but there are number of them who are not able to loose weight despite eating right or exercising.
The other major reasons for obesity are lowering thyroid activity (Hypothyroidism) or hormonal disturbances such as in poly cystic ovarian disease (PCOD). Simple hormonal testing (T3/T4 and TSH) as well as ultrasound of abdomen will rule out these conditions.
After ruling out medical conditions one major factor which is over looked is lowering down of basal metabolic rate of body, genes and metabolic reactions. Though lot of research is being done yet conclusive answers are yet to be found.

PLAN and EXECUTE
Once you have identified a exact cause of weight gain, them attack the problem. The first step is to identify how many calories you require on daily basis. Lets say you are working in an office with most of the time sitting and working on computers in that case your calorie requirement based upon your gender, age, weight and height may be computed with scientific formula (Click here).
After finding out your calorie requirement the next step to is to modify your daily routine so that you are including activities which makes you burn more energy: such as walking, jogging, taking stairs instead of lift, stretching during the breaks. The next step is to eat right in most of the situations. These changes happens over a period of time:

Energy needs and weight loss

Your body uses food for energy. It stores any excess energy as fat. This means if you eat more food than your body needs for daily activities and cell maintenance, you will gain weight.

SLOWLY and GRADUALLY
Since in most cases weight gain has happened over years or months of over eating or lack of exercise therefore trying to loose weight very fast may leave you frustrating. This is because your skin, bones, your organs and whole body is used to particular architecture. Now you can’t change them all over night. Therefore first thing you need to understand is there is nothing called Instant weight loss.
Therefore crash diets or sudden exercising is bad. For example, you cannot run miles a day if you are not used to it. It is advisable to consult doctor before undertaking any exercise program. Similarly you can’t starve your self to loose weight which will make you deficient in essential vitamins and minerals.

Small changes can make a big difference. One extra biscuit a week can lead you to gain 5lb a year – cut that biscuit out of your diet and you'll lose the same amount.

You are also more likely to stick to, say, swapping full-fat milk for semi-skimmed or making time for breakfast each morning than a diet that sets rules for all foods.

Increase your activity levels

Someone who increases the amount they exercise, but maintains the same diet and calorie intake, will almost certainly lose weight.

No matter if you hate gyms - even light exercise such as a short 20 minute walk will be beneficial if done most days of the week.

Every single time you exercise more than usual, you burn calories and fat.

There are lots of ways to increase the amount of activity you do. Team sports, racket sports, aerobics classes, running, walking, swimming and cycling will all improve your fitness levels.

Find something you enjoy that's easy for you to do in terms of location and cost. You are then more likely to build it into your routine and continue to exercise, despite inevitably missing the odd session through holidays, family commitments, etc.
• Don’t jump to your car or bike every time you have to go for shopping. Park far and walk towards your destination. Try to incorporate longer walks into outings to the park, coast or countryside and take a picnic so you are in control of what you are going to eat that day.
• Every extra step you take helps. Always use the stairs instead of the lift, or get off the bus a stop before the usual one and walk the rest of the way.
• Use commercial breaks between TV-programmes to stand up and do exercise, or consider using an exercise bicycle in the living room while watching your favourite programme.
REDUCTION OF ENERGY INTAKE
First thing you have realize that you can't continue with your current eating habits.

Then people comes to us and ask are they going to stop eating all those tasty stuff such as cakes, sweets etc available in market. The key is moderation and satisfy your tongue and not your stomach. Eat tasty and tempting cake for taste but do not satisfy your hunger with them. Eat them on special occasions. In terms of weight-loss, you can get your body to use up existing stores of fat by eating less and making healthier choices.

This doesn't mean crash diet (anything less than 1500 calories), which usually ends up with you either getting weaker or giving up in desperation. Quick-fix diets can lead to a yo-yoing effect of drastic weight loss followed by weight gain, resulting in a vicious cycle.

There are no shortcuts to losing weight in a healthy and reasonable way.

Eating 300 to 500 calories less per day should lead to a loss of between one and two pounds per week. This is a realistic target.
Fat contains the most amounts of calories out of all the food types (protein and Carbohydrates), so a good way to achieve this is to cut down on fatty foods and eat more wholegrain bread, fruit and vegetables.

Below are ways to reduce calorie intake without having to alter your diet significantly.
• Replace coke or soft drinks with water or lemon water.
• Take semi-skimmed or skimmed milk instead of full fat.
• Eat a plate of salad before lunch. Eat less lunch than usual. For example, make your own sandwich and limit the use of margarine/butter and full-fat mayonnaise (store-bought sandwiches often contain both).
• Eat frequently. It was found during our study that people did not loose weight even if they starved or ate once a day. The reason was body adapted to new lowered metabolism. Have smaller portions of the food you enjoy.
Don't be tempted to skip breakfast – or any meal to lose weight. While skipping a meal will reduce your calorie intake for that hour, it will leave you much hungrier later on.

Not only are you likely to overeat to compensate, but you'll often make bad choices to fill the gap: a cereal bar is not as healthy as a bowl of cereal or as filling, leading you to 'need' something extra for lunch.

Irregular eating habits also disrupt your body's metabolism, which makes it harder to lose weight in the first place.

• Cut out unhealthy treats such as confectionary, sugary biscuits and crisps between meals. Eat fruits or salad whenever feeling hungry.
• Cut down on beer and alcohol since they contain lots of calories.
All these things will influence your health in a positive way.

IMPLEMENTATION OF WEIGHT LOSS PRGRAM
Food diary
If you're not sure what's wrong with your diet, try keeping a daily diary of everything you eat and drink.
You can use a notebook or an online diary in our weight loss manager.
At the end of the week, review your entries for problem areas.
Look out for processed foods, alcohol, fast food, roasts, creamy sauces and fried foods.
If your diet seems largely healthy, look at portion sizes.
If you're not sure what's meant by 'healthy diet', call our dietician

Once you've decided on what changes you're going to make use our free online weight loss manager to make you started, write them down. For example:
Week 1
• Exercise: one 20-40 minute walk.
• Alcohol: none in the week, two small glasses of wine on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Food: no chocolate or biscuits in the week, choose healthy snacks such as fruit, trim all fat from meat, eat no fried or fast food.

Once you start your plan, weigh yourself once a week before breakfast. Keep a record of this weight and see if a pattern develops.

You could use a table like the one below to keep track of your goals, marking your progress for each day with a tick or a cross or use our online software to keep you updated about your progress
Week:
Current weight: Alcohol Exercise Food plan
Goals for week

. .
Progress Alcohol Exercise Food plan Mood Comments
Monday . . . . .
Tuesday . . . . .
Wednesday . . . . .
Thursday . . . . .
Friday . . . . .
Saturday . . . . .
Sunday . . . . .

Persevere

Results will definitely appear but It might take a week or two before you notice any changes. After the first month you will be able to see the results and measure them in terms of looser fitting clothes.

MOTIVATE

Keeping your motivation up is one of the most difficult aspects of dieting. There will be days when healthy eating goes out the window and there will be weeks where you may not lose any weight – or put a little back on.

Plateaus Phase
This is the most difficult phase for weight loosing people. You loose some weight and it stuck at given level. You try hard, change diet plan, exercise but it comes back. You are wondering why is it so ? Is some thing wrong with your body ? There is nothing wrong …….in this phase body organs are resizing and adapting to new architecture result of fat loss. This phase should be over in 1-2 weeks’ time.

This is normal for everyone – dieters or not – so don't let it undo your plans for a slimmer you. You're not doing anything 'wrong', but you may need to look at your plan. Do you need to increase your activity levels? Make a few more changes to your diet? Put more effort into sticking to your current plan?

When all these measure fails you require our expert help (we call them shake up the system) where we can help you to loose weight through our simple to follow programs so that you don’t hang around the plateau phase for longer than required.11

The other side of this is to make sure you celebrate your goals. While there is joy enough in stepping on the scales and seeing them dip lower, be sure to mark long-term progress with a reward such as new clothes or a night off from housework.

Celebrating is also a way to involve your nearest and dearest – it's up to you whether you want their encouragement in the form of gentle reminders not to eat certain foods, but support from other people can get you through the bumpy patches.

Health benefits of weight loss

Studies show that overweight women who lose between 10lb and 20lb halve their risk of developing diabetes. For men, the risk of heart problems reduces considerably. We have seen people reducing their hypertension medicine
dose. We have also seen arthritis pain going away and remodeling of knee joints. All these miracles are part of our weight loss programs seen at our centers.

Generally, we gain weight as we age. A few pounds over the years are not a problem, but people who gain more than 20lb compared to their weight as an 18-year-old will rapidly increase their risk of health problems due to that extra weight. In particular, women increase their risk of heart attack and double their risk of dying from cancer.

It may seem like these are problems to worry about in the future, but time flies by and tomorrow becomes today. By keeping your weight in the healthy range, you are less likely to be troubled by illnesses in your later years.

Mediplex help you to loose weight by involving latest breakthrough technologies, nutritional counselling, yoga and life style modification. Further, underlying medical conditions are also treated such as hypothyroidism, PCOD etc.

We have treated over 10000 people suffering from obesity.

Contact at 9313520295 or mediplex@gmail.com
