Medius Says...

No More Sakray? :O

2009-10-09T21:20:00.002+08:00

Yea... So, Sakray Beta is no more.

You can now launch your RO with JUST kRO! Well, let's face it. It does make downloadings easier, right? Ha ha.

Let's see if there are any newer kRO links. Not that sure if the 0616 is still the latest or not. ;)

Sakray Still Refuses To Patch?

2009-08-19T13:42:00.003+08:00

Ok, that's what I am experiencing now. >.>

Surfed everywhere and I found a few solutions.

1. patch_allow errors.

Go to your RO folder. Gravity > RO. Search for patch_allow. Double click it and you may see deny on it. Replace it with allow. Save it. Now, right click patch_allow and select Properties. Select Read Only. Hit Apply/Ok.

This is the link for the above method. Just in case the link dies, at least we'd still know what to do. :D

http://sakray.9.forumer.com/a/fix-for-the-false-patching-deny-status_post192.html

2. Valhalla Patch

Not that sure how good it is but it looks nice. Doesn't seem to solve my problem though. But who knows if it may solve yours.

http://forum.talonro.com/Valhalla_Client_Patcher.rar

Extract it to your RO folder and it should work from there. It's used to update your Sakray and kRO.

Above all these pesky troubles of downloading this and that to make sure Sakray patches fine, I'm still with the first option.

Well, it seems like my Sakray is patching fine now. :D

Thanks to IC DeaDPiPoL and TalonRO for the help. ;)

Reviving Dead Downloads!

2009-01-09T22:06:00.003+08:00

This is what you need to do if your download dies all of a sudden. It may still show that you're downloading but you're not. The -???- shows that your download is DEAD. :/

So, my download is dead. Why? because the link has expired. Pause the download.

Now, go back to the site where you've downloaded the previous file.

I chose File Front earlier, so I'm back to that very link I clicked on earlier which brought me there.

Click Download. Yes, you are downloading a NEW file; but not exactly new. :)

There, you see I'm adding a New download. This new download is actually the same file as the one you see behind.

Copy the URL. Now, exit/cancel. You are NOT going to download a new file. You're here to copy the URL.

Click Properties on your previous download which was Paused.

Paste the URL that you've copied earlier onto your current paused download.

And now, START THE DOWNLOAD!

You can always use this way to any downloads at all.

Sakray 0616 DOWNLOAD!

2008-07-17T22:31:00.002+08:00

Many complaint about having the download stopping at 99% and errors upon starting the game.

My advice, just wait for a few more weeks or another month. I'm sure it should be fine by then. I'll be checking the links too, so worry not! ;)

But worry not.
Cos Internode has it working! :D

More links will be added though.

Regarding Sakray 1213 Installer Links

2008-02-12T18:11:00.001+08:00

Ok, most of the links to kRO and Sakray 1213 posted a few weeks before are now dead. These are the few surviving links.

RECOMMENDED DOWNLOAD SITE:

SAKRAY SETUP 1213
http://files.excalibur-nw.com/index.php?page=getfile&step=1&get=SAK_SETUP1213.exe

kRO SETUP 1213
http://files.excalibur-nw.com/index.php?page=getfile&step=1&get=RAG_SETUP1213.exe

ALTERNATIVE SITES IF THE RECOMMENDED SITE IS UNAVAILABLE:

SaveFile
http://www.savefile.com/projects/808589233

Divided into 21 parts. Can't be resumed.

FlyUpload
http://www.flyupload.com/?fid=9467576

Can't be resumed as well. Lots of clickings to be done before you can even download the whole installer. 10 clicks, to be precise. >.> Plus those ads!! @@

As for SaveFile which contains 21 parts, after downloading them all, extract those files into a Folder using Winrar. Actually, you only need to extract one file and it will automatically patch them all up together. MAGIC! :O

Download Winrar here. http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm

Not sure about the others but I downloaded this one, WinRAR 3.71.

Cheers! :D

Update Your Sakray!

2008-01-26T10:21:00.000+08:00

Updates available on the 22nd and 23rd January 2008.

Sakray Patch Shows ?? ?? ??

2008-01-22T10:56:00.000+08:00

When you run Sakray and it shows ?? ?? ??, and the Start button doesn't work, it means that it's connecting to server to patch/update.

Image 1

And in this image -below-, it means that your Sakray is already patched or it already has the latest patch so there's no need to patch/update.

Image 2

But if the scenario shows... : 2008-01-17adata_k.gpf ??????, it means that you've lost the connection to the server. You have to Exit and start re-patching again.

Situation 1:

IF it constantly shows that error, you may have to install the LATEST Sakray, whichever the latest is, and just run Sakray.

Situation 2:

IF it still show errors while patching, I suggest you run the Sakray Patcher Fix and Sakray Optimiser. You can find it within this blog as well. Use the Search I have in my blog to make things easier.

p/s: Ragnarok Devs Applications are still open until further notice. :D

kRO SETUP 1213

Part 2

Right. You need to have Winrar in order for them to work. Next, extract both Part 1 and Part 2 of Sak/kRO 1213 to ONE folder. Once both parts are in that one folder, they'll become one. So you won't have to worry about Sak or Rag being in halves.

And remember. If you ALREADY have kRO installed on your computer, you don't need a new one. You ONLY need Sakray.

Other links seem dead for the time being. I'll add more links available once I get them to work. Adios!

Sakray Patch Fixer & Optimiser

2007-12-06T00:16:00.000+08:00

If you've been getting Gravity Errors upon warping or your Sakray is unable to patch, worry not. I have found the solution to your worries!

Actually I've been having those 2 problems ever since I played RO. Anyway, check these out.

Sakray Patch Fixer
If your Sakray patching fails at certain dates and it gives you an error or any errors encountered, use this. It will fix Sakray and it's said to connect directly to the server. It patches at the same time. It's marvellous, I tell you.

Anyway, extract it to your Gravity folder and run it.

Sakray Optimiser
Well, looking at its name, it optimises and defrags sdata.grf. Hastens loading time as well.

Extract this to your Gravity file as well. It may take quite some time. A gray and black window will pop up. Don't panic but just leave it as it optimises.

Happy gaming!

Latest Unknown Info! XD

2007-12-02T14:25:00.000+08:00

Ok, so most of you have been using cards like Raydric Archer, Gargoyle, Plasma etc to obtain its drop each time a particular monster is killed, right? The card itself never mentioned the percentage of its drop.

I, however, realised this great breakthrough last night while I was hunting a Rideword card. Ha ha.

Alright, set @autoloot 9 for these cards..

i. Sleeper Card
ii. Gargoyle Card
iii. Li Me Mang Ryang Card
iv. Raydric Archer Card
V. Cloud Hermit Card
vi. Orc Archer Card

And @autoloot 36 for Plasma Cards.

You may ask, what do all of these cards drop or what are they used for?

Card: Sleeper Card
Drops: Box of Drowsiness
Effect: Increase MATK by 20 for 60 seconds
Monster To Kill: Fish

Card: Gargoyle Card
Drops: Box of Thunder
Effect: 100% movement speed for 20 seconds
Monster To Kill: Insect

Card: Li Me Mang Ryang Card
Drops: Box of Sunlight
Effect: Detects hidden enemies for 30 seconds
Monster To Kill: Angel

Card: Raydric Archer Card
Drops: Box of Resentment
Effect: Increases ATK by 20 for 60 seconds
Monster To Kill: Demon

Card: Cloud Hermit Card
Drops: Box of Gloom
Effect: Casts Level 1 Attention Concentrate
Monster To Kill: Plant

Card: Orc Archer Card
Drops: Box of Panting
Effect: Restores 9% of maximum SP but has a chance of 30% to cast Silence on yourself.
Monster To Kill: Demi-Human

But in my opinion, Cloud Hermit cards and Orc Archer cards are useless. Heh heh.

I stilll have the old kRO 0417 installer. Well, my RO seems to be running fine. No errors so far. But still, I am not sure with this so drop me a line or two regarding this. :)

Cheers.
