Final result for a college project.
The brief was to create a visualisation of a chapter/city from the book called Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. Each student was given a different city.

Mine was Procopea and was about a traveller who stays in the same room of the same inn every year. His room has a nice village landscape view. One year he notices some movement in the distance and sees a child. Next year its 3, the next 6 and so on year after year until the whole window is full of faces from rim to rim. They all look alike as well. The traveller turns around to leave the window, but its hard for him as there are 26 people in his room.

After some research and thinking I came to the conclusion that we are nothing more than a virus, a plague to the planet. So I decided to create something that showed this contrast between something so natural yet very synthetic.

I decided to create an origami tulip as it resembled a mutated flower that looked pretty aggressive because of its shape.

No matter how many times I watch this video I don’t think it gets any less funny or genius. I dare you to not try and recreate this video.

I hate mondays, but this monday I was in a really good mood and I had no idea why. And I generally don’t question such things. So I thought I I’d share some slightly minimal music I like to listen to depending on my mood, but usually I’m not a huge fan of hardcore minimal. This is not to say that I don’t like to dance to it,  it all circumstantial, if the atmosphere is right and the minimal is good then the guy having fun, doing stupid things and embarrassing himself is most likely me.
