The Punishment of Sin & Wrath of God!

A lot of people FEAR God because of His "wrath"... because they somehow think he is some old man up in the sky who is watching every move we make and is going to get revenge for all the "naughty" or bad things we've done.

The following message was a lesson I was actually taught in college while studying Theology at the University of San Diego. I would say it is the clearest and perhaps the only thing I consciously remember from my degree studies (meaning... I learned many things, but I can probably only verbalize one thing immediately without having to dig deep into my memory banks.) When working with certain people lately, this message keeps coming to mind and I was told to share it with you today...

"The Punishment of Sin is Inherent to the Sin Itself"

Meaning... Whatever or however you choose to "Sin" it isn't GOD that is punishing you, it is in the action itself that has the consequence is embedded within it. YOU choose the punishment!

I don't really want or need to explain this... Think about it for yourself.

A little bit about Sin... the word means "To Miss the Mark" like an archer pointing towards a target... Sin is when you miss the target. In the Old Testament, the most common message of all the Prophets whose writings we have, is to "SHUV" (in Hebrew) which means to:

"Turn Around And Face God, You're Looking In The WRONG DIRECTION!!!"

When we Sin, We are not facing God who should be our ultimate target... Our Ultimate Goal.

One of my favorite Prophets is Hosea. There is a song that is sung at church which paraphrases the message of Hosea. The book of Hosea is about the Love story between God and His people (us). The song goes like this...

"Come Back to Me, With All Your Heart...
Don't Let FEAR, Keep Us Apart...
Long Have I Waited For Your Coming HOME...
So That We Can LIVE DEEPLY Our NEW LIFE!!!"

(The punctuation is my own and I don't know off-hand who the song was written by, but THANK YOU for such a beautiful rendition of such a beautiful message!)

That is EXACTLY God's invitation... He wants us to come home to Him... to feel His embrace... to Rejoice in LIFE and LIVE the Life that He designed for us.

SIN is our own choosing... SIN is our way of dying... SIN is turning away from GOD!

Today, Right Now... LISTEN for His Invitation... "Come Home, So We Can LIVE DEEPLY In Our NEW LIFE!!!"

The Silence is Broken, Or Is It???

If you look at the date of my last posting, a LONG TIME has passed since I was told to write here on my website. You see, we are in a new era... a time where Silence is the key to the answers that so many of you seek. For a long time, it was important for us to learn from our "Wise Ones", but many became dependent on their wisdom and teachings and forgot how to connect to their own inner wisdom or TRUTH. No one person is more important or more wise than anyone else. We ALL have the same connection to TRUTH that everyone else has. The difference is our willingness to interpret or connect to that inner wisdom.

So... today... the "Silence is Broken" in-so-far-as I have been told to write to you today, but as you will see in the message, that the "Silence" is EVERYTHING. The Silence is the TOTALITY. The Silence COMPLETES THE PUZZLE. The "Wise Ones" already know this... in fact, EVERYONE knows this! So... no more playing around everyone... Listen, Listen to the Silence!!!

The following message was given to me November 17, 2008...

"Perspectives

Layers, upon layers, upon layers, upon layers like an onion - Silence, Observing Silence, Observing Silence, Observing Silence, Transcends to the Core of Truth which is Silence.

While Silence appears empty, it is in fact Fullness. Silence allows the experience of totality to exist without interference. Silence integrates into the totality, thereby becoming ONE - the "space between the space." The glue which binds everything together. There is nothing - "no-thing" but ONE.

Imagine a complex 3 dimensional puzzle, or even a complex molecule... like a key which fits in a lock, the Silence or "Chi" - the energy that binds - is like a lock that fits ever so perfectly. Let's use the example of the Stereogram again. Within the scrambled picture it looks like there isn't much room to transcend with all of that static that is presented in the image. But, with the slightest of effort, actually by letting go of "control" - seeing with new eyes, in a new manner - you begin to see new dimensions. A new reality protrudes - a reality within a reality - dimensions within dimensions exist - and the experience is far more satisfying than just looking at static on a page.

Our investment in experiencing life is what we make of it. Are we experiencing just the surface of the 3D or are we transcending the dimensions and fully embracing the experiences around us? This process is actually a physical process. Many people approach it from a mental or spiritual perspective, but those are only two of the dimensions. There certainly is a physical dimension to it as well. We are talking about protons, electrons, neutrons - energy, force fields, magnetism, polarity - all the laws of physics are intertwined in this process. It sounds complex - it is, only when one attempts to understand it with the human brain. Deep within the human experience is the in-bred code - the actual experience and reality which "KNOWS" ALL that is. When one dissects and compartmentalizes these experiences, it becomes complex. There are many parts, but only ONE reality. We are ALL Connected. There is only ONE. Your experience of these words is a separation of the ONE and Only. But, it is possible to continue to live and practice and as a human AND as ONE - these you call "Enlightened Beings - Saints".

[Paul's explanation - As an example... if I mention the word "Aquarium" to you, the first image in your mind is the tank WITH THE FISH AND WATER, NOT just the tank... right??? We tend to think of the material world and separate out all of the empty space in between. This is incorrect thinking. Everything, including the EMPTY SPACE, is "ONE"... ONE complete Package. All of the laws of the physical realm co-exist and actually interact in direct relation to this nothingness. The emptiness is not empty unless we think of it as a human. It is just as solid as a molecule is - electrons separated in space (emptiness) in between protons and neutrons etc. ONE is as solid, as complete as "Aquarium".]

It is all a foundation of Connectedness. Harm to one brings Harm to ONE. Love to one brings Love to ONE.

The process of experiencing is not less than being enlightened. The process is actually important to experience because it brings material substance into the equation. The material brings a certain sensory satisfaction to the process that will aide you later, but ultimately it is the awareness of ONE that is the goal. "Goal" implies time, which is not real. "Process" implies time which is not real either. ONE does not exist in time but it encompasses time. Everything can be measured, but the measurement takes away from the enlightenment. In the Unitive process there are waves of awareness of (global) consciousness - in and out of Dimensions which serves to teach and enrich your experiences.

You know everything I am telling you - there is nothing you don't know. People doubt everything. They doubt their intuition. An ignorance and cloak of fear blinds people from the Truth which is part of every fiber of their being.

Allow the experiences to happen - don't fight the challenges that are being presented to you. They are all part of the experiences - the process to widen your knowledge and deepen your experience. What you experience as pain, you will soon experience as Joy because you will begin to remember how it is all connected to ONE. Your data banks of experiences are loading - the more you experience the more you get closer to fullness which is equal to SILENCE - to ONE.

If a diamond isn't cut properly, most of the light which enters from the top facet escapes from the bottom of the diamond.

A properly cut diamond allows the light to "swirl" around the inside of the diamond from facet to facet and it eventually returns out the top facet of the diamond, creating the brilliant "FIRE" that makes a diamond sparkle.

I owe many, many thanks to you Paul Gordon! Two Months ago I stumbled across your website at meetyourangels.com. Call it fate, destiny, Luck or whatever you will, but I gathered up the courage, and made the leap, and called your number. I have not been the same since. Paul, you and I formed an instant bond, and I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts, feelings, and emotions with you. I knew at that moment I had finally found the right teacher. I never worried about being judged, or being laughed at. You are a very gentle, caring soul.

Two months ago I had no purpose, I was a numb, zombie stuck on autopilot. I felt trapped by circumstance, and I was part of an unhealthy relationship. It has been a rough 4 months since me and my fiance are no longer together. We were living together for 9 years and have a beautiful 3yr old son. It was lack of communication and the age difference that ultimately brought this decision. He asked that I move out and I have to admit that I didn't look or try to work things out with him since I figured he would come back. I was so wrong. I moved out with our son and bounced to 4 different relatives before finally knocking on my mom's door. Something that I thought I would never have to do as I felt defeated.

The holidays were very emotional. It was the first time we didn't spend Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years or our son's bday together (he's a new years eve baby). I took it extremely hard and so has our son. It was during all this that I discovered and opened my spiritual side. I turned to God for answers. I sometimes feel that he has forgotten about me but I know he hasn't. It has to be God's will and not mine that will bring us back together as a family.

Single life isn't easy. I only knew how to do things together. But for some reason God is testing me. I know this is something that was overdue from the beginning. I put my life on hold since I met my son's father. But I can't blame everything on him.

I found this site while browsing and am glad I did. I had an angel reading with Paul and was told so many things that have encouraged me to live and be stronger each day. Not only for myself but for my son as well. Just this month I was able to get my own place. It's such a wonderful feeling to hear my little one say "we're going home".

Angel Card Reading

This message was given to me directly after the "Stargaze" message on 3/21/07, but I was not to publish it until today, 5/20/07.

Before I get into the actual message, I was told to convey an encounter I had last September or so. I was at a weekend Renaissance Fair and I was told by the Angels to bring my Angel oracle cards to give readings. I was there all day Saturday and Sunday... walking, walking, walking. The first day when I just arrived, I remember seeing a guy who was about 22 or so and my "thought" was, "I need to give him an Angel reading" but I knew the timing wasn't right, so I strolled around and it seems like he would cross my path at least once an hour for 2 days straight.

It was Sunday evening (the last day of the fair)... the sun was setting and I hadn't even given one Angel reading yet! Again, I had been WALKING everywhere and literally had never sat down during the event so my "thought" again was, "Well... if you're going to give Angel readings you need to sit down!" (These "thoughts" are actually the Angels guiding me. We all have these thoughts and we need to learn to pay attention to them.)

So.. I need to sit down... that makes sense. I was in the middle of probably a hundred people in the food area... I bet there would be plenty of people who would want an Angel reading here. So what did I do??? I LEFT the area, NOT because I didn't want to give readings, but because I was "guided" to where I was supposed to sit. The Angels told me to go way over to the other side of the park where there were NO PEOPLE. They had me sit down with my back to the crowd so it just looked like someone was sitting way off in the distance all alone minding his own business.

What happened next???

Literally within 30 seconds, the guy who I kept running into all weekend walks from behind me and says, "Ah... Angel Cards... would you give me a reading?" LOL... I found the whole thing HILARIOUS!!! When we are obedient and listen to our intuition, we immediately get what we want. Sometimes the Angels ask us to do "silly" things in our eyes (like leave the crowd where all the people are), but they know better than we do what we should do.

So, I gave the reading and the person asked me, "Do you not have your memory?" I replied, "I have an amnesia of sorts in this lifetime." He said that I was his teacher/mentor in a former lifetime and he was my apprentice. I was a healer and together we would open hospitals and teach others in the art of healing (in the Egyptian era). I told him that all of that made sense, but my "memory issue" was important for me (and him) in this lifetime. "I am to re-learn the secrets of Life again and to teach others its SIMPLICITY."

Many people believe we agree to a "contract" before we come this life and I signed up for this "amnesia" to help teach others that you don't have to be a genius to figure things out. I have shared in earlier articles and in my podcasts that there is an underlying mathematical order to how things work, but in the message I am to share with you today, you will see how simple the "equation" is. I am NOT mathematical... I am the least mathematical person of all, but this all makes sense to me!

Q&A: A Question about the movie "The Secret"

I don't know your religious background... it doesn't really matter. All religions tend to believe that God is a "Good God." In the Judeo-Christian tradition, God created the "Garden of Eden"... PARADISE for Adam & Eve to live in. God wanted GOODNESS and LOVE and ABUNDANCE for His creation. He gave them EVERYTHING they ever needed.... all He asked was obdeience... He gave them one rule... to not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Of course, we had to screw things up and be selfish.

I believe that God STILL wants us to have lives of GOODNESS, LOVE and ABUNDANCE, but He still calls us to a life of selfless giving. So... I truly believe that "The Secret" is correct... it does work, but only when you use it for what God wants, not for selfishness. (It actually works for selfishness too... that is why everyone is so miserable in their lives... they have attracted the misery into their lives!!!)

The movie does use a lot of material things to kinda get people to take the "bait." Meaning... because our society is so materialistic, they use these examples to show people how to attract these things to themselves. But, the movie does teach that materialism is NOT WEALTH... it is not happiness or healthy relationships etc. So... the "higher" message in the movie is that Love, Happiness and Joy are what we all want and it is our job to align ourselves to the process to "Receive" the Love, Happiness and Joy.

Do yourself a favor... don't listen to the snipets any more on the web... go out and watch the real movie and make up your own mind on what The Secret is trying to teach. It WILL work for you and DOES work for you whether you know it or not. If you are a good person and live for God, you will have the life that God has chosen for you. The problem is that in our selfishness, we become out of alignment with the life that God wants for us. We choose sadness, we choose depression, we choose isolation etc.

A client emailed me today (3/21/07) saying that she was feeling, "full of this horrific toxic energy that scares me and I feel very alone, as though I have done something horrible aganst God or my fellow man. Can the angels tell you anything about why I am feeling this way? I feel very sad and very, very alone."

I am sharing the reply I gave her from the Angels because I think it pertains to all of us. It is a message we all need to read...

"Here's What the Angels Say To You Today...

"There is nothing to worry about... You are a GIFT FROM GOD TO THE WORLD! You have been chosen for a special task of LOVE and INSPIRATION that no one else can do. Listen to your heart... Feel your feelings, and DO NOT BE AFRAID. We are teaching you Patience... We are teaching you Love. Isolation is part of growth. In the Silence you will hear the voice of God and know that you are not alone. Only you have the ability to unlock the special gift of LIFE that God has for you!

Forgive, Forgive, Forgive is the Theme for 2007

--> Forgive, do not enable or be taken advantage of.

--> Draw the line.

--> It will be hard to watch.

--> New feelings of isolation will develop BUT there is a new dimension of LOVE that will be unveiled. Your Human and Divine dimensions are being merged. The people who hurt you are there to teach you - to show you the very fabric you are made of. Be Strong for these are trying times.

Love, Love, Love - Always keep these friends close to your heart - They need you - You need them! But your relationships are changing from the Physical dimension into the Spiritual dimension. Neither of you need the physical dimension to show your Love. The physical actually gets in the way. Give yourself the Freedom to expand your Love to its greatest dimensions - Forgive and Love.

That is all that is needed.
