John & Courtney's Wedding {Minneapolis, MN - Wedding Photographer}

2011-10-27T21:06:00.000-07:00

John, or Johnny as I always called him, is my cousin who is exactly one week older than me. Growing up, he was always one of my favorite cousins to see every summer and was definitely one of the funniest! And while I had heard a countless number of great things about Courtney from my family, I actually met her for the first time ON her wedding day! Well, I felt like I had known her forever after her beautiful wedding day, and I can say that her and John are 100% perfect together! Fun loving, easy going, and just downright great people!

Oh, and let me introduce you to breathtaking Hastings, MN...

A breathtaking location for a breathtaking bride....

I warned you that he was the funny one in the family...

The weather was perfect so we had a nice time taking photos prior to the wedding ceremony.

The ceremony was held in a gorgeous garden on the property...

The ceremony wore some people out...

But for everyone else, it was just a precursor to an awesome party.

What a perfect day!!! A million thanks to John & Courtney for letting me be apart of your wedding day!

Joshua & Michelle {Houston, TX - Wedding Photographer}

Joshua and Michelle are such a great couple. I had the pleasure of capturing their wedding day last weekend. Not only was the wedding beautiful and completely touching, but the guests and the party were SO fun! Here's a sneak peak at some of the shots from the day...

It was a warm, summer day here in Houston. Michelle's bridesmaids and family tried to make sure Michelle stayed cool and completely ready for her walk down the aisle...

The ceremony and reception were held at Rosemary's Garden in Houston, TX.

After a few photos around the site, this bride, groom, and all of their guests were ready to get the party started...

The guests at this reception LOVED to dance, and I mean LOVED it. Everyone got out for a song or two; from the youngest guests to the guests who were young at heart....

This usher literally danced his shoes off.

Congrats, Joshua & Michelle! You all are a beautiful couple. May God always bless your marriage. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!

Daniel & Melissa's Engagement

2010-10-30T08:56:00.000-07:00

Daniel & Melissa are some of my very good friends. They are one of the kindest and most beautiful couples I've ever met. They are the kind of couple that make you believe that true love still exists. They survived years of long distance dating and Daniel's deployments, and they still look at each other with the eyes of young love. We began our photo shoot in downtown Apex, NC.

After walking around downtown, we headed over to a park in Cary, NC to relax and take a little ride out on the lake. What we didn't think about, was how much work those two were going to have to do in their pretty outfits :); however, we had a blast!

Melissa saved all the letters and many of the memoirs from when her and Daniel first dated. It was pretty special to see how much happiness it brought for them to look through the letters that Daniel scripted to Melissa during his time in Iraq.

I had a great time with you guys...I hope you enjoy your photos!

What a beautiful, Fall afternoon it was for Bradley & Julie's wedding. It was set in a beautiful, waterfront community center in Southport, NC. Each and every detail of the wedding displayed the uniqueness of the couple and the incredible closeness of their bond. To say the least, it was a blessing to even be apart of this day...

Bradley & Julie's Engagement

2010-09-06T11:44:00.000-07:00

I've known Julie since I was a child; we played soccer together when I was about 7 or 8. She is such a bubbly, wonderful woman now, and she has definitely found her perfect match in Bradley. Their playfulness and friendship is evident in all of their encounters. I am so thrilled to be able to photograph them as they begin their lives together.

Picture Session with Sarah

2010-09-06T10:35:00.000-07:00

Sarah and I attended the same graduate school. She was such a fun model. Her session was taken for her husband who is faithfully serving our country overseas. He was supposed to be present for the session, but was deployed before the session took place. Thank you both for your sacrifice!
