I had so much fun last week with this session. It doesn’t hurt that she is GORGEOUS! We found a pretty spot at the arboretum and rocked the awesome light.

Sunday I had a fun session at the park with a bunch of kids who go to school with my boys. They did such a wonderful job, and the oldest told me after that he had fun. Mission complete.

I know I comment on their smiles every time I have a session with these guys, but they truly have the best grins ever. This time I had the pleasure of shooting their older cousin as well! I look forward to doing her senior portraits in a couple of years.

Babies don’t usually give real smiles until they are anywhere between six and eight weeks old. The grins I usually capture when they are newborns are sweet…but usually just a byproduct of gas or reflex. I swear…SWEAR however that my little two week old from last week was giving me the real deal.

Back in the day I spent thirteen years as a girl scout. These three were with me for most of that journey. Now they are all going to CSUS and wanted portraits on campus all decked out in Sac State gear. I forgot what a pretty campus it is!

Man oh man, this little guy was wonderful! The session took place at his home in Roseville over the weekend.

Mom has a thing for vintage baskets. I spied this one in the corner and just had to use it!

This next shot is for dad. “I want to do something really geeky!” Sure why not! And for my safety conscious friends, don’t worry! The volume was off.
