Meet Truman. He is six and before this day never had an official haircut. Take a look at those locks!

One afternoon, he finally requested to have it cut. I got to be there to document the huge occasion!

At the salon there was quite the gathering: mom, dad, big sis, and his two best buds were there to watch. It was go time!

After we were done at the salon, the gang went back to the studio for some after shots of the new do!

Wednesday morning I had the pleasure of meeting with one of my former brides for her maternity session. Its so cool to be able to photograph all these special moments for them. I CAN NOT WAIT to meet their baby when its born~

2011 Year in Review…and a contest!

I am very excited about this year’s review post. There were so many great sessions these the past twelve months, which made it very hard to choose just one image from each session! You’ll notice a few faces more than once…that’s because they had more than one session. Noticeably missing are the weddings and engagement sessions. Never fear, those will be coming up in another post soon! I also left out head shots and book covers, boudoir sessions, as well as images from workshops and meet-ups. Its nothing personal!

Of course I can’t end the year without a contest! I’m finally all caught up with blog posts from just before the holidays. Yay! Its always fun seeing how big my newborns get. You may recognize those cute little twins and their big brother from their newborn session back in August. This time we got together with their cousins for some shots as well! It was great seeing you again!

I’ve been wanting to photograph this crazy kid for a while now. His daddy is good friends with my cousin and I see them around the birthday parties. Whenever little man runs by I can’t help but note how cute he is!
