Monthly Emolument

• ₹18,150 per month (plus allowances)

Contract Duration and Terms

• Engagement is strictly on a daily wages basis.
• The contract may be terminated early by the Government or due to non-performance.
• The position does not guarantee regularization or future employment.
• Selected candidates must sign a Deed Agreement with MBMA.

Eligibility Conditions

• Applicants must be between 18–35 years as on the date of application.
• Candidates must not be on the regular payroll of any Government department.

Selection Process

• Only candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for the interview.
• Failure to appear for the interview will result in immediate rejection.
• Misconduct or misrepresentation during any stage will lead to disqualification.

General Information

• Possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee shortlisting. MBMA may adopt additional criteria.
• Shortlisted candidates will receive notification via SMS/E-mail.
• Lists of shortlisted candidates will also be available at www.mbda.gov.in and office notice boards.
• MBMA may:
  • Conduct additional examinations or skill tests
  • Request additional documentation
  • Relax qualifications in special cases

Eligibility Criteria

1. Medical Officer – Ayurveda

• Must possess a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) from a recognised university.
• Must hold a valid registration from the Meghalaya Council of Indian System of Medicine (MCISM).
• Preferably with 2 years of clinical experience.
• Upper age limit: 32 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per Government norms.

Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month

2. Medical Officer – Homoeopathy

• Must possess a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) from a recognised university.
• Must hold a valid registration from the Meghalaya Council for Homoeopathic System of Medicine.
• Preferably with 2 years of clinical experience.
• Upper age limit: 32 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month

3. Medical Officer – Yoga & Naturopathy

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS) from a recognised university.
• Must have valid registration from a State/Central statutory board.
• Preferably with 2 years of clinical experience.
• Upper age limit: 32 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month

General Instructions for Applicants

1. Application Submission:
   Candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed standard form along with self-attested copies of documents and a recent passport-size photograph.
   Submission must be made at the Office of the DM&HO, East Khasi Hills, Shillong, on 1st December 2025, between 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.
   No application will be accepted after the specified registration time.
2. Shortlisted Candidates:
   The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Office of the DM&HO on 1st December 2025 at 3:00 PM.
3. Written Test / Interview Schedule:
   • Written Test (Homoeopathy & Ayurveda):
     Date: 5th December 2025
     Venue: Directorate of Education and Research Training (DERT) Annexe, Malki Point, Shillong
     Timing:
     • Homoeopathy: 10:00 AM – 10:40 AM
     • Ayurveda: 1:00 PM – 1:40 PM
   • Direct Walk-in Interview (Yoga & Naturopathy):
     Candidates should appear directly for the interview as announced.
4. Results:
   Written test results will be displayed on the Notice Board of the DM&HO on the same day. Candidates must secure 70% marks or above to qualify for the personal interview.
5. Personal Interview:
   Qualified candidates must appear for the interview on 8th December 2025 from 10:00 AM onwards at the Office of the DM&HO, East Khasi Hills.
   Original documents must be produced during the interview.
6. Additional Guidelines:
   • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test or interview.
   • Any dispute arising during the process is subject to the decision of the undersigned, who reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
