Just weeks after Palm's Pre sunk to CAD $149.95 on Bell , the outfit's first-ever webOS phone has now stooped to just CAD $99.95. That still requires a 3-year contract, of course, but man -- a single bill for a smartphone like the Pre? Anyone tossing out guesses on how long it takes Sprint to follow suit (and embarrass the Pixi )? [Thanks, David]

This morning I read about the nPower PEG — a Personal Energy Generator — so I had to look into it online. PEG sounds like a decent fit in my quest to reduce electricity demand where I can. My last attempt using solar power was less than optimal, but this has potential. The PEG device [...]

Update: It looks like the Amazon 9 a.m. deal ran out (not before I managed to grab one, natch), but the same deal will be running again at 12 p.m. PST, 3 p.m.
