कर लिया था
कुछ मिला नहीं, मगर
समय सम्पन्न गया
रोज़ एक पथ नया
रोज़ नई पहचाने
कई जगह खटखटाया
और खोला भी गया
मीठा और मधुर मुझसे बोला भी गया
मगर जिसे देखने की आशा थी
वह नहीं दिखा
फिर भी कितना देखा
कैसे - कैसे रूप
कैसी - कैसी रेखा
मुझ अनिकेतन के कितने घर बने
जिस दिन लगता था
सूने में कटेंगी घड़ियाँ
उस दिन त्योंहार मने
यों देखो तो बहुत मिला
खोजने का सिला
उम्र की मगर शाम आ गई है
कह सकता हूँ
ज़िन्दगी खोज रहने के मैदान में
काम आ गयी है
और कोई गिला नहीं है
जुस्तजू में अगर कुछ मिला नहीं है
