JMP Update

I have not been a very good blogger and have relied on Facebook to update everyone for the past few years. I feel as though I need to go ahead and post an update on the blog though, because I get several calls and emails from people who have viewed the blog.

It has been almost a year since I had our third baby. What a joy she has been! After having her, we decided I would be taking a break from taking pictures in the fall. That did not go so well, and I was still busier then I had intended.

2013 is a new year, and I am taking a very big step back. I will not be taking on sessions like I have in the past. I know that there are so many who are wanting to book sessions, but I just have to say no. I do plan on doing mini sessions which will give some opportunity. Feel free to email me to check in on mini sessions. I do not have them all scheduled yet, but they will be limited in number.

Thank you all for your support over the past 7 years of this adventure! I will miss this, but plan to enjoy every moment I have with my family!

When is it too late?

So I haven't been on my blog in a really long time. We won't discuss how long....... But I have a good excuse. Well kind of- I am PREGNANT! Yep that is right! We are super excited and very anxious to meet this little baby in February of next year. I have been tired and sick and the blog just hasn't been something I took time for. {bad blogger} But I can't use this as the only excuse I have since I was behind before I got pregnant. Right now I am trying to decide how behind is too behind. I just checked my "to be blogged" folder........ The number is hovering right at 30....... Is 30 blog posts just too much to catch up on? I haven't decided yet. But I am hoping that soon I return to the blogging world!

First of all, I am again, behind on blogging! {what's new, right?} I probably have about {zero} blog readers about now since I NEVER post! {go ahead and prove me wrong if the blog reader count is higher then zero..... leave me a comment and let me know!}

Second of all, this momma doesn't have facebook so it forced me to blog!

This session was AMAZING! I LOVE this family! So glad we are getting to know them better!

There is so much I could say about these pictures. Mom did great with the wardrobe, the girls did great for me, the girls are both just beautiful and we laughed a ton!

AK {younger sis} and my sweet baby girl are good friends. So when AK asked if J could be in a few pictures, how could I say no? The session was at our house any way, so it was very convenient! I am so glad we did it because I got some really great ones of them together!

I met this one about 6 months ago. Now she is turning one! Love her little smiles!

This little guy is so handsome and has totally warmed up to me over the past year. I love the babies first year plan because I really get to know the kids and the families! This momma always had amazing taste! I will miss them!

This little beauty saw me for the first time when she was just a few days old. I have loved getting to see her over the past year! She is just super cute and obviously adored by her family!

I have started getting to know this WONDERFUL family and I am so glad that I am! This family is sweet and and a great encouragement to my family. And the fact that their youngest begged to come home with me after the session really melted my heart! :)

Ok, this precious little girl saw me when she was just a few days old, then I got to see her when she was 6 months old, and now she is a 1 year old! She loves her momma and you can't see it in pictures yet, but she is going to have her momma's hair! Momma's hair is red and just beautiful and little LK has red fuzz coming in!

If you have been a follower, blog watcher, facebook fan, for a few years now, you may remember a really fun engagement session with cows- followed by a fabulous bridal session with the cows? Well If you remember that- then you will not be surprised that their baby girl's one year pictures were done with a cow! {Daddy is a cattle rancher} (Is that what it is called? hehe) Any how- I have just come to love this darling little family and I am so glad I got to do miss H's 1 year pictures!

Meet Glory, her momma, her big sister, and her Arkansas Children's Hospital family. Glory has made ACH her home since the day she was born almost 9 months ago. She has proven to be a fighter! She was born with a rare heart condition and since birth has been undergoing surgeries. This family has such a strong faith in God and it just moves me to tears to watch this family- but good tears. This post needs to be long. And drawn out, and one that will make you all cry {or at least me!} but instead I am just going to share with you how sweet and handsome my now EIGHT year old is. WOW- where does time go? I asked him how be got to be 8..... You know in a very sweet loving mommy voice. His reply {was just like his father} and he said "Well mom, there are 365 days in a year, and when one set of 365 days passes, 8 times, that is how I am 8" Really? Thanks for that :) He is a mess!
