<a href=

Medical Congresses is delighted to invite you to take part in
the Asia-Pacific Congress on Building Consensus out of
Controversies in Maternal and Fetal Medicine (BCMFM) 2013
held in conjunction with the 9TH Asia Pacific
Congress in Maternal Fetal Medicine (APCMFM) which
will take place in Shanghai, China,
November 21-24,
2013.

In recent years, the filed of maternal fetal medicine has
witnessed tremendous development, in particular on early
screening of fetal chromosomal abnormalities, early diagnosis of
fetal structural abnormalities, non-invasive prenatal diagnostic
methods, fetal therapies as well as the elucidation of genetic
and molecular basis of many obstetric complications. Conferences
are more informative, but there is only limited time for thorough
discussion that provides a platform for international experts to
discuss and compare experiences.

The Asia-Pacific BCMFM Congress will provide a unique
platform for world leaders and participants to conduct a vibrant
discussion aimed at reaching consensus in the in the field of
maternal and fetal medicine. Debates, discussions and plenary
lectures will facilitate this academic dialogue which will raise
the most dynamic and challenging clinical and technological
questions.

The Congress will promote excellence in the field and aim to
bridge gaps between the expansion of information and its
implementation in clinical practice. International and local
experts will share and compare experiences in stimulating and
interactive debates. Allowing ample time for speaker-audience
discussion, the Congress aims at reaching up-to-date and
agreed-upon answers to ongoing debates even when proof is
lacking, through evidence-based medicine and expert opinion.

ComtecMed
Medical Congresses is pleased to announce the Ovarian Club
III, November 15-16,
2013, Paris, France. The
forum will cover the recruitment of the primordial follicle and
the various proteins influencing it.

Conference Theme

Follicle maturation, from recruitment of primordial follicles to
ovulation, is a months-long process, involving at least 3-4
menstrual cycles. Yet, traditional fertility treatments have
concentrated only on the last 2 weeks of this lengthy process,
the gonadotropin-sensitive phase. By that stage, the quality and
quantity of follicles are already mostly determined and,
therefore, are no longer subject to therapeutic improvements. In
contrast, therapeutic interventions in earlier stages of follicle
maturation, especially at the very early stages of small growing
follicles, may have more significant impacts. By attempting
treatment interventions at such early stages of follicle
maturation, we are potentially inverting the current treatment
pyramid and developing a new treatment paradigm in infertility.

This theory will be discussed in relation to stimulation with
formulations of gonadotropins and other proteins. Various
conditions and situations, such as polycystic ovary syndrome
(PCOS), premature ovarian failure, poor ovarian response and
endometriosis, will also be discussed related to this concept.

The Ovarian Club is a comprehensive forum where international
experts share and discuss state-of-the-art management topics in
order to pursue the optimal treatment for patients.

The Ovarian Club enables researchers to present their new studies
and findings in their fields of expertise in an interactive
platform for discussions with the leading expert attendees.

of Surrey is kindly inviting you to participate in a
Conference on "Cytochrome P450: Modelling Toxicity", held
September 12-13,
2013 in <a href=

a pioneer of P450 modelling who died recently. Topics covered
will include modelling P450 structure and function as well as
predicting toxicity and should be of interest to members of the
pharmaceutical industry as well as those in academia. There will
be opportunities for oral and poster presentations. Contributions
from students and postdocs are particularly welcome. The list of
confirmed speakers is shown under the Speakers subfolder on the
