Hi everyone! Sorry I have not posted lately I have been busy at work and with Family. I have been working on some things so there will be more soon.

My birthday is only 30 shopping days away!! lol I always count down the days. I love my birthday like a little kid. Last year on my 40th birthday the girls at work through me a child's birthday party theme. I loved it. My boyfriend asked me what I wanted last year and I said a nintendo 3DS so that is what I got. I don't think I will ever grow up totally but who wants too, I am having fun, but I still have all the responsibilities as an adult, my son is almost 21 and has moved out, so now I have more time for me doing what I love, crafting.

Shopping Haul Time

I vow to spend more time crafting and less time shopping, I am running out of things to buy, I think I have everything I need for a long time. That's what I say right now as you watch this shopping haul video, it's sorta like after you go to a buffet and stuff your self sick, you decide to start a diet.

The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?

Ok I did this video in 2 parts, the first one is everything I bought, 4 cartridges included. The second video is just the 4 cartridges and seeing the handbooks. So if you have these carts you don't need to watch this unless you think you might see something new you didn't realize was in there, as I did as I watched the video just after I filmed it.

Exploring Cricut-Movie Night

Challenge for Exploring Cricut- "There's No Business Like Show Business" this can be movie night, play, concert, recital, any type of entertainment. I decided to use my new digital cartridge Movie Night and make a 3D Oscar Statue.

Here is the cut file. You need to download the cut file and then upload it to Cricut craft Room. You can not look at it or open it outside the craftroom, it is a Cricut Craft Room file only. For directions on cutfiles please go here.

This statue was not made to be 3D but I made mine that way. I scored it on a Martha Stewart scoring board down the middle, I did not score the head of statue. I glued 3 flat statues together. Watch my video to see more.

Cricut Cartridge Storage

I have showed you before but did not have as many carts as I do now. I can store 40 carts in each photo box with the books, but I store the overlays separately in a photo box by themselves because I do not use them.
I use velcro dots to stick to lid and a piece of foam board cut to fit in the lid. Watch the video below to see how I do it.

Zombie Cartridge

I call these my Non-Zombies. I took away the weapons and blood. They are not Zombies anymore. I bought this cartridge when they were on sale. I used CCR and made them at 5" They are really easy to make, but I did have to cut off the boy's teeth hanging off his face and the girls knife and blood from her mouth, I also had to use hide countour in CCR. You can download the cut file so you don't have to do that if you want to make the same thing.
I used Sizzix stamps for the faces. Used markers on eyes, I distressed his jeans at the knee and used a pink pen on her dress to add dimension and in her hair to add a part and streaks. I also added laces to his shoes with a pen.
I sent a picture to my friend asking what she thought they were saying, She said she was singing Should have put a ring on it" by Beyonce. I thought that is what was going on too. so I added a word bubble from Craft room Basics.

Cricut Circle Cartridge Haul

I spent 4000 points and received 4 new cartridges. I am now in the Cricut Circle so I was able to get some old circle cartridges. I used the Cricut Everyday circle cartridge and Cricut Craft Room Basics. I used the cricut logo as the negative and put green paper behind it. The prase came from that movie in the 80's I think it was the 80's with Tom Cruise and the girl says to him "You had me at Hello" What was the name of that movie? Well anyway, I also had to use a tag, I don't think I have ever used a tag before, I like my project with out the tag better so I did not glue it down and took some pictures with and with out it. Ok here it is let me know if you like it or not.

Cheer Leader with cricut

My niece has started cheer leading and asked me to make her something to decorate her cheer folder. I used everyday paper dolls for all the images and the cake basics for the word Bears. I made the images but will let her stick them to her folder. I cut the cheer leader at 6.75" . You can make these is any team color.Here is the cut file for CCR

Birthday Crown

We had a birthday at work so I wanted to make a Birthday Girl Crown, I'm not sure if they will wear it, I will wear it, so it won't be a total waste.
I used Life's A Party, I used the Mother-to-be-crown and clicked on Hide Contour to take out the words so I could make my own. I do have the cut file so you don't have to do that, I have done it for you.

New carts are here!
I just ordered the Tag Bags Boxes and More 2 and the scoring tool for it. Cricut has a scoring tool for your cricut machine, you take the blade housing and replace with this new tool. The boxes will be scored for you now with this tool, I will be making a tutorial video when I receive it.
I love the font in Divine Wedding, I may have to get that.

Girls Birthday Party Game

My niece, Madison, I call her Maddie, just turned 6 and my sister came up with an idea for a game for Maddie's sleep over. My sister is smart she only allowed her to have 2 girls. Maddie loves Monster High Dolls, if you have never heard of them, don't feel bad I have not either but my sister was amazed when I did not know what she was talking about. If they don't sell them at Hobby Lobby, Micheals or Joanns, I probably have not seen them. Okay, back to the game, instead of doing the old pin the tail on the donkey, she wanted to do stick the lips on the Monster High girls, so she asked if I could make lips and of course I can with my cricut and the Indie Art cartridge has great lips. but I had to look up the dolls online to see what they looked like, I think my lips look pretty close to theirs, I welded the lips tops and bottoms together because the mouth is open on the lips from India Art, I did this in CCR, surprise, I have the cut file for you. With 3 girls I made 3 sets of 5 in 3 colors so you would know whos lips are whos on the wall. I used a pink pen and put a line to separate the lips, and put glue stick on the back and put them on freezer paper so they could take them off and stick to wall mural.

Cricut.com is having a sale! The Cuttlebug is $49.99 this is a great embossing machine, I love it!
The Mini is on sale for $99 I am so tempted.
But best of all, All the digital cartridges are on sale I bought 6 of the Cricut Craft Room exclusives, I was just going to buy them as I needed them because they will never run out of digital carts, but because I don't know how long the sale will be I had buy them now.

Cupcake Wobble Birthday Card

Kate's ABCs Cards

I made a set of cards I am going to give to some friends of mine that happen to be twins. I used Kate's ABCs, I love that cartridge. I also used the Cuttlebug to emboss it with 3 different embossing folders. I show everything in the video below.

Ghost Hunting Class Folder

My boyfriend and I are attending Ghost Hunting classes, yes, you heard me right ghost hunting classes. They are put on by the Kankakee Valley Park District, the classes are great so far. It has been a lot of fun and we are learning a lot. Great way to spend a Friday night 7- 10 pm.

They hand out lots of info each class so I wanted to decorate the folder I bring to class with me. I used the Happy Haunting Cartridge and I also used the red cricut marker. I welded the letters together in CCR.

Something strange happened in the making of this video. I show how to use the cricut markers in the video.

I am finally announcing a winner! If you are new here, I have had an on going challenge. This was to give me inspiration to use new carts that have not been used on my blog (the cartridge with the * next to them in the list on the left sidebar).
