doing to our little ones. I put together a little color book that might help you to be able to explain

it, and tell them what they can do to help.

It won't last forever.

My cute hubby arranged for the firemen to come and

talk to our youth group at church about fire safety. We made these cute

and simple cards for the kids to fill out as a thank you.

Foster Care Awesomeness!!!

I am SO proud to have been asked to illustrate for this project.

My friend Keri is a Foster Parent here in Utah. When the first little boy came to their home,

she realized that even with all of the training and learning opportunities she and her husband

had, their daughter wasn't prepared. This led her to write some books to help other families.

Foster Care will forever have a special place in my heart.

Keri has made up a whole series of activities and color pages to go along with her books.

She has them all on her blog, and she's giving them away for FREE.

She also has videos of her sweet daughter reading the books. It's so precious.

Something new!!!!

I have just started doing some printable/clip art sets!
I am SUPER excited with a new avenue to create.

Here's a few of the sets I have completed!

Christmas Ornaments #2 instructions :)

Here's what I used to make this ornament:

I printed off an assortment of kidlettes, about 2 1/4" high, and cut out around each one. I left a little bit of white on the edges.

I used chip board ornaments. They're about 3 1/2 inches tall.

I attached the graphics to the chip board with these foam adhesive dots. I wanted the graphics to stand up off the chipboard.

Of course, we had to add some glitter :)

Here's what I did:

I stuck the image on to the chipboard, using about 3 dots.

I added a little glitter glue.

And finished her off with a lace bow!

SUPER easy!

Christmas Ornaments Instructions :)

I'm getting ready to go to a big Christmas gift show in Salt Lake City in a few weeks!

I have to decorate for Christmas, so I have been making ornaments.

Here's how I made them!

I purchased some plastic, clear ornaments like these:

From Hobby Lobby (Michaels has them too)

The package I got had 25 ornaments in it for $19.99

Next I bought some clear acetate pages that you can use in a color printer.

I printed out a sheet of kidlettes, each was about 2 1/4" tall.

I cut each image out in a rectangle, rounding the edges. I cut about 1/8 of an inch from the bottom of the feet, and close to 1/4 of an inc from the top of the head.

I rolled them up lengthwise and stuck them in the top of the ornament.

I used a skinny paint brush handle to manipulate the plastic until it was where I wanted it.

The plastic is bowed toward the outside of the ornament.

I think they would be super cute with the names sideways right next to the image.

They are SUPER easy!
