I would like to start off this post by stating the fact that...I. hate. running. Okay, so now that you all know my feelings toward this dreadful activity I will go on to tell you that I've also gone a little bit crazy lately. Why is that? Well, I have decided that one of my NY's resolutions is to run a half marathon this summer. WHAAAA?? Wait a second...did I just say that?! Oh boy...I believe I did. Woops. Now it's fo realz. Officially, official. Set in stone. Holy moley.

(Because obviously stating it on your blog all of a sudden makes it real...haha).

So as I try to calm myself from this I will tell you all another random thing about me. I'm an avid list-maker. I love the feeling of crossing something off a list. Sometimes, I even write things I've already done on the list just so I can cross them out. Or I add insignificant activities to my list (that I know I'm going to get done) just so I can cross those out, too. Typical list...

~~Shower~~

Write bajillion page paper for class.

Work on resume & portfolio website.

~~Email so-n-so.~~

~~Make dinner.~~

~~Go to gym.~~

~~Open door to leave apartment.~~

Okay, the last one might be a bit of a stretch...but you get the idea. Notice how even though I essentially accomplished nothing for the day, I feel like I did.

Self-trickery at its finest.

And that is how I roll, folks.

Moral of the story: I just like crossing things off...mkay?!
