Saturn's Whore

Ensnared by Saturn's eye,
she dove into him deep,
he lulled her with a lullaby
into the deepest sleep.

He branded her so easily, a mark she proudly wore,
seered himself into her flesh,
and she became Saturn's whore.

She lived her life for Saturn's whims,
her heart he had ensnared.

She drank his enchanted poison
whilst being cast down into his lair.

Down the rabbit hole she slid
as his venom paralyzed her heart,

No longer bound along a stormy sea,
they slowly drifted apart.

He drained her of her vibrancy
when she exposed many a lie.
He cast her out most viciously,
on the day her heart did die.

A hollow was all he left her with after he consumed her all.
She knew someday it would happen,
the pride before the fall.

The spell once cast so craftily
faded into Saturn's storm.

The universe is a cruel father,
just a thief who leaves us to mourn.

I was speechless, sort of intimidated by his cocky, confident stance. He had sleepy eyes, the color of topaz. They looked like two glowing embers. His eyes were warm and sexy and I wanted him, too. This would just be this evening's entertainment, though. I loved Gavin with my whole heart, but had at long last given up on him. He was done, junk, a limp, lifeless corpse, his only sustenance, the heroin that was preserving him as a living, breathing being.

I was bored I needed something to happen. I was done with being in mourning. They say time heals all wounds, well, kinda, but if I sat long enough and thought about Gavin, I would bawl my eyes out to this very day. Its weird. Its not like I could possibly still love him, because I was just a kid when I thought I did love him, but the mere memory of that pain just stirs something up in my soul I can’t explain, but anyway, I love it when they chase you and you don't want to admit you want it even more than they do. He chases you, says things to you that aren't particularly interesting or clever and it makes your heart melt right in his big retarded hands. He was not my type, but in another way, he was, a tall blonde Irish boy, a bad-ass. Well, at least he thought his dumb ass was.

the way you touched my face

with piano fingers

painted in black

letters struck over your

bare knuckles

your softness always

comforted me

you waited for death

soft and swift to

come and spare you,

drifted off until

the sandman floated

you down the river,

kindness in your eyes

being spared from

the fate you could

never endure

picked up the phone

the other day

but i couldn't

reach you

Over

Scattered pictures brush my heels on the floor.

I don't love you anymore, but when I gaze upon

them I step back in time, into the vortex that

has long since passed.

I tear up, I feel your breath slowly absorbing

into my wet cheek, waves flow down onto the floor

my heart a wet mop, fluttering with August's passions

of a time far gone, ruined, scarred, cut, bled,

cauterized, I close the cover on the box and now

I can sleep!

The thought of him will forever fester in my rotting heart. The thought of him makes me want to die,
and every time I do think about him, I die a little inside. Nobody will ever hold a candle to this f***er, but sometimes I wish they would hold it right under my dress and immerse me in flames so the feeling that is associated with thinking about his smug little fat face will just f**king forever disperse. I've never felt so strongly in either direction for anyone ever! Both my love and hate for him will be locked inside my ailing heart forever.

I dream of him and its as if a piece of my soul has been seared with his stupid brand, like its been ripped out and stomped on by a little band of trolls who have come to scar my soul. Even in my old age, his image will be burned upon my brain forever, rancid, rotting in the sun, and smelling like spoiled milk in a fire ignited by a thousand suns.

The couple of hours of pleasure I was awarded in his company has certainly not been worth the sixteen years of pain I have endured for it. That's certainly not a just reward, and way more than giving me my just deserts for being a moron.
