Your metabolism is one of the leading factors that influences your weight loss.  Most people believe that skipping out of breakfast will help them lose weight faster because you’re eating less calories, but in the long run you’ll be slowing down your weight loss because your metabolism will naturally slow down.  Your biggest meal should actually be breakfast because you are most active during the hours that follow your breakfast.  Take control of your weight by eating your breakfast.

Reduce Stress

Stress plays a huge role in your weight loss because it can affect many of your bodily functions negatively.  Try doing something you enjoy for at least 30 minutes a day, whether its taking a walk, reading, or spending time in a hot tub.  By reducing stress you’ll allow you’re body to function better, and in turn lose weight at your optimum peak.

Keep Moving

Not everyone can make it to a gym to work out everyday, but thankfully there are things you can do throughout the day that can still give you a workout.  As long as you try to move more during the day you’ll be burning more calories constantly.  Try bouncing your legs as you sit, or standing up in your office instead of settling in your chair.  You can easily burn hundreds of extra calories every day just by being more active.

Nothing ruins your morning more than having your toaster churn out burnt toast because you can’t see what’s going on in the toaster.  The small knob that comes on the front of toasters doesn’t really offer much help either.  Finally, someone has come up with an awesome new concept of a glass toaster.

I don’t know about you guys, but we are very excited about this new concept toaster.  Not only does it look sweet, it will look great in just about any kitchen.  The only thing we are worried about is the hot glass, which coincidentally is giving the designers a bit of a problem.  They are having a problem apparently, heating up the glass hot enough to toast some bread.

Obviously this raises some eyebrows from us, but we have hope they will be able to solve any problems they are running into and eventually get this onto the market.  It’s pretty cool that they’re taking an old appliance with flaws and trying to find a new way to solve those old problems while giving it a modern look.

Outside Is The Best

Whether you’re stuck in a city, or in the middle of nowhere, throwing a Halloween party outdoors will always be a good move.  If you’re in a city go to the roof, otherwise find a nice backyard where you can start a fire.  It’s probably going to be cold the night you throw the party so building a fire is another great idea.  Most women will be scantily clothed so this will allow them to stay warm by the fire, or to warm up next to you.

Make A Bar

Building a makeshift bar is a great idea for several reasons.  For one you’ll be in charge of the alcohol, which will make it last longer.  Once the alcohol dies out the party will be soon to follow.  Acting as the bartender also gives you and your friends an easy ticket to talking with the hottest girls at the party.  Hit it off with a girl and you can have a couple bros hold down the fort, while you chat it up with her.  And lastly this allows for the tip bucket.

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a bartender and get the money in those tip jars?  Now’s your chance.  You’ll easily be able to make back your investment in alcohol and you’ll likely walk out with some extra cash.  This also takes out the annoying task of asking people to chip in.  Just have a sign for the tip bucket and have a few friends tell people to tip at the bar.

Have Some Live Music

It’s a lot easier to get live music than you think.  Chances are you have friends, or a friend of a friend, whose in a band.  Just ask them if they’d like to play for a bit at your party and they likely will.  They’ll like the exposure and free booze and your party will have a major upgrade from the usual jukebox that most people are used to.  Everyone will be wondering who put this all together, and you’ll look like a rockstar for putting together an awesome party.

Too Much Freedom

Generally in a relationship the more freedom your girlfriend gives you the happier your relationship is.  What you need to watch out for is when she seems to be pushing you away.  If she wants to do separate things more than usual then chances are something is wrong.  When you aren’t having fun together she’ll be looking for other things to do without you, and she’s more than likely looking for someone to replace you.

She Starts Creating Fights

This is a blinding sign that she’s looking to break up or she’s thinking of cheating on you.  If your girlfriend is happy being with you then she’ll let the little things go and won’t blow up small things.  When she starts getting on your case about things that never were a problem before it’s time to take a look at your relationship.  If a girl is thinking about cheating on you, all she needs is an excuse.  Naturally she will create her own by starting small fights with you and breaking apart your relationship.

Less Affection From Her

Cut Out Coffee And Soda

You may not believe it, but this is the easiest and best way to save extra money.  If you get a morning coffee that costs $3, you’ll save $90 every month just by skipping out.  The same goes for soda.  How many times do you grab a quick soda out of the vending machine or order one in a restaurant?  Just by cutting out these extra things you’ll be cutting out tons of empty calories and saving a lot of money each month.

Take Your Own Lunch To Work

Eating out every day for your lunch break is awful for your health and your wallet too.  Eating out for lunch usually costs between $6-$10.  Depending on how much you spend you could save $100 a month just by bringing your own lunch for two weeks.  You’ll probably be cutting out thousands of calories each month as well by not eating out as much.

Have Less Drinks

This one will take some real will-power for most of us.  The next time you go out to a bar try to order one or two less drinks than you normally do.  Depending on what you order this could easily save you $20-$30 every weekend.  Do this for a month and you easily save about $100.  Just cutting back a little can go a long way so try it out.

Luckily running is one exercise that’s very catchy and makes you feel refreshed after you’re done.  You’ll have more energy constantly and a feeling of confidence that can’t be put into words.  If you’re just starting to run then here are some tips you should try.  Following these tips will help to keep you motivated and help you to avoid injury at the same time.

Get The Equipment

Running doesn’t require much to do, but you’ll be doing yourself a big favor by picking up  a couple items.  Fist you’ll need a good pair of running shoes that offer you support and are made just for running.  Your legs and muscles will be going through a lot of pressure as you’re running so you want a good pair of shoes that won’t tear up your feet.  You may want to go into a sporting store and get advice on the best running shoe for you.  While you’re there, pick up a pedometer if you’re going to be running outside.

Keep a Running Journal

Keeping a journal about your running progress will help you to stay on track with your goals.  You’ll also get a motivation kick when you read past entries and see the progress you’re making.  You don’t have to write long posts, and it will significantly help you to stay motivated.

Early Mindset

When you’re just starting out it’s important to keep your focus on the time you’re running instead of the distance.  If you only think about the distance you’ve run it can seem like you aren’t accomplishing much.  Instead keep track of how long you’re running, and naturally you’ll start running faster and have more distance is your runs.

Find A Partner

There’s nothing sissy about getting a buddy to go running with you.  You’ll be getting in great shape, and it will help you with your dating and confidence levels.  It will also help you stay motivated when you don’t feel like the only person on the planet trying to get in shape.  The time will go faster by talking with someone else and in general it will make your running time more enjoyable.

No Socks With Sandals

This is the oldest rule in the book when it comes to sandals and yet you’ll still see people walking around with this horrible combo.  The whole point of wearing sandals is to give your feet air and be free.  Don’t walk around with a contradicting look.  Just don’t.

No Hiking Sandals

Listen…NO HIKING SANDALS!   These sandals are practically shoes, but with strategic slots cut out to allow “breathability”.  Sure with its waterproof materials it may be handy to have.  These were definitely not made to be fashionable.  Just because it may be able to handle some rugged activity doesn’t mean it should be worn however.  If you’re going to be doing serious hiking then pick up some boots that offer the protection you should have when hiking.  Sadly, we usually see these worn by dads in their 30’s in various public places no where near hiking trails or mountains.

No Athletic Slip-ons

Athletic slip-ons are easy to wear and usually pretty comfortable.  We get it, but fashion does not always mean you can wear comfortable clothes.  Face it, you don’t see people walking around in moo-moos or nighties.  It just isn’t fashionable.  The only time it’s acceptable to wear slip-ons are if you are going to or coming from soccer practice.  They just don’t fit in with any other type of clothing.  Leave them on the field.

A bright spot about the eRinGo is it’s two steering wheel design.  The passenger can become the driver if  your partner gets tired of driving.  When one steering wheel is activated the other is deactivated as well to ensure safety.  That is something we would really like to see in future designs of other cars.  The futuristic design of the eRinGo will most likely deter manufacturers from producing this concept car.  I’m not sure anyone would be rushing out to get this car, but only the future will tell.

Still we can’t help but think this looks exactly like Mr. Macky’s Car design from South Park. No?

Cocktails used to be something only ordered by 1960’s housewives and businessmen.  Thankfully that is no longer the case today.  A nice cocktail can not only have an amazing taste, but also give you a suave, cool look.  Of course you should never order a drink that you don’t enjoy to purposefully try to look refined.  That will most likely have the opposite effect when others see you aren’t enjoying it.

If you’re new to drinking, or you don’t have any knowledge of good liquor then its time to take a trip to the liquor store.  There’s no way a bartender will be able to make you a cocktail you’ll really enjoy if you don’t know what liquors you like the best.  Head out to a liquor store and pick up a small variety of bourbons, tequila, and scotch depending on what you enjoy the most.  You can easily do this with a bunch of friends during a poker night.

Always Trust Your Tastes

It’s all well and great to know what you like, but if you don’t know how to order your cocktail then you may look a little foolish, or over pay for a cocktail you may not enjoy very much.  When it comes to ordering a cocktail with style, always trust your tastes.  If you know what you like then order with confidence.  You may like your drinks to be more sour than sweet make sure you order it that way.  When you order confidently, they’ll have no problem making it sweeter or more sour for you, but that doesn’t mean you should add any ridiculous ingredients.  Adding orange soda to a classic cocktail will not be seen as cool.  Any quality bartender will be able to add in extra syrups or change up the amount of liquor to get the taste you want.

Ask The Bartender

You may know what types of liquors you like, but that doesn’t mean you may know every type of cocktail that contains them. If you’re at a nice bar or lounge you may have the opportunity to speak with the bartender.  Most bartenders will be more than happy to offer you some recommendations if you tell them some of the liquors you like.  This is an excellent opportunity to try out new cocktails, and it won’t look bad if you get a cocktail you aren’t crazy for.  Don’t always settle for the usual drink you always get.  A lot of bars will have signature cocktails that are great.  There’s nothing wrong with trying out new things that others recommend.

Know What You’re Getting

Depending on what you get it may come in different glasses, so don’t expect a certain glass with your order.  Only martinis will come in a martini glass.  On another note know the amount of alcohol in your drinks.  You may get more alcohol at certain places so its easy to go past your limit rather quickly.  The best way to avoid this is to order water in between each of your drinks.  You’ll stay hydrated this way and you’ll keep a good pace on your drinks.

Drinks to Avoid

If you’re in a bar or lounge don’t order a drink frozen.  The only time this is acceptable is at a pool, or a mexican restaurant.  A lot of cocktails do come on the rocks, which is fine though.  Make sure you don’t order any drinks with suggestive names.  You won’t be taken seriously as a drinker by the bartender or your friends.  A good cocktail doesn’t need a suggestive name.
