There is a wonderful show of Native American Art at the Hood Museum in Hanover.

I enjoyed the entire exhibit, but the modern pieces really caught my attention.

And then we came upon this huge cupcake made of snow:

I like how ghost drawings show up behind; I usually leave an empty page in between drawings, but I was going through my sketchbooks too quickly, so now there will be a drawing on every page.

Now to work on the grant I have been wrestling with for a while....getting closer to the finish on that, thanks to a wonderful team of colleagues working with me.

I ordered a small book of drawings from Dear Oly. It was an absolute delight to open! One neat prize after another- she told me she likes to make up her packages like she is sending them to a dear friend. I haven't even opened all of the little packages yet!

Julija and I made the journey back to Castleton today. It was a beautiful sunny day so the trip was enjoyable, but I am missing my neon peanut, now that she is back at college.
