Hi ladies!!Now it's time to speak about "the beautiful news"! you have an idea? I've been published in BELLE ARMOIRE JEWELRY.( yesssss me, the little Frenchie.. ) I'm late, it deserve a special post since September 1st, but:

- First i don't have received the magazine yet ( France is very far away) and i'm superstitious, but some of you have read it and tell me about , so i can!( in 10 days it will be too late for speaking about no? )(i also saw my name on stampington's menu of the new issue!! yepeeeee!!)

- 2nd, it's just a little article(so i was ashamed to speak about some of you have made big tutorials) but it's a big one for me!!

I would like to thanks Cynthia Levens (editor) for finding me on etsy and Cindy Wimmer for all she did to help and encourage me for this publication ; I also want to thank you ALL those read and comment my blog, all your kind words give me courage and inspiration ! yes, courage is the word! believe me , if a French magazine contact you one day, you will need courage!!

Hi Les filles!! !
Kids will soon go back to school , here in France it will be next monday! Poor babies! this summer ( as all summers) is passed very quickly!

I've played with resin for a challege called "remember" . I wanted to remember about all those women who have fought for make us , modern womens, free!

In the early autumn, I also decided to get back to paint and decorate and make collages, here's a preview of my small paintings..

A special thought for my friends from Australia and England who have lost a loved one recently, I think of you.

This is one of my favorite painter William Bouguereau .He inspire me this focal. it's a wooden dome , not so easy to apply an image on a domed surface(I mean for me - maybe you do this very easily , what a chance!) that's fold and creases but i found a tactic!!I love domes , because once the resin is applied , it looks like porcelain.

Let me tell you a short story ...(full of mistakes, sorry .. remember , i'm french..)

Once upon a time , a young Marquise was madly in love with her young husband went to fightin Austria, every day she waits. One day, tragedy knocked at her door she learns that her husband was killed in action.
Desperate ,she die of grief, praying for him. Here is the necklace "to remember", that her sister and confidante wore every day of her life, in memory of this loving heart.

Totally invented! of course

The tubes are made following the idea of Robin (here her tutorial ) and my own 2 years old tutorial (lol) ( here)

and the bracelet, very unique, dentelle de calais and those words " je vous aime" "mes égarements" (i love you, my errors) from a old missal ravaged by time and probably a believer mouse...

Do you remember? a long time ago, i wanted to make an experience with copper and lace..(OMG ..it was in 2009!! ) i was disappointed because i thought , once finished, the necklace looks like a " bra"

This time , i'm totally happy!! those longs earring have a perfect bohemian caravan style ..

Hi ladies!! very long time without blogging! this time i would share with you my " retour aux source" (homecoming)

I'm come back with my copper.. my favorite.. as you know!

first a "parure" ( a set) with red topaz , I've added labradorites on the necklace. (not very rosy mannequin... )

*and this piece , etched copper ( a crown stamp) and biwas

and to end this long post , this one, very funny to do, I've wrapped some silk and beads around the focal

As my friend Sharon, from live wire jewelry, this week is pink!! I've played with "cold porcelain", i've made this mixture with ; glue, cornstarch, oil, cream and lemon... It become a pure withe paste , very smooth and soft. I've made some flowers, and painted it with watercolors and some glitter dust. The little bird and the little heart are cold porcelain too. Very interesting to work with.

Monday we were on the sea with kids, sun was here too...

We decided to clean the beach with my daughters,BUT some things don't deserve to be thrown away .. for example these small pieces of bottle, polished by salt and sand... why not on a necklace?

Hi everybody!! i hope all of you are well , with good health and good resolutions for this new year!!
first i have to say i have a new studio!! yippee!! my Dh made it! At first it was a garage... he worked for that ( and for me !!) during one month !!
Soon i will start my classes !! so cool!!

as you can see.. it's now my territory, with all the mess that entails....

My first work for this year on my new studio:

Those earrings , hammered copper and stones. i wanted to make some big rings, in my baroque style. On the top I've wrapped copper to make illusion of ribbon .. It was not easy but i love the results! they are big, 8cm long.. and available on my shop!!

And this one, only brass and 2 beautiful quartz

Hi ladies! This month I have been very busy ( as all of you i suppose!!) , really short time!! i haven't stopped to work .. it's time for me to be with my kids and family , so , a little pause.

Hi ladies!! have you read about this extraordinary adventure on the blogs of Cindy, Sharon and Renate ?

They are better speakers than me and it's hard to be the last one, because most of things have been said!

, I will show you some pics of vero's necklace, she was number five of the robin's girls.. but she have a lot of work, she is lampwork-girl now, and have many many orders before Christmas.

I will try " à ma sauce" as we say in French

I was friend with Sharon, our Sharon! she really make me love handmade jewelry, and made me addicted... then i started to make my little tests. There was a big jewelry exchange in USA, with Loreleil , but deadlines was very shorts and 6 day for a package to cross the ocean was impossible for this turn . Vero and me were quite sad..wheeeeeeeeeeeeen:

Hello Esther, Renate and Veronique

I had an idea that I wanted to share with you.[....Cindy explain to us that Diane Cook can't participate unfortunately, but had this great idea!! ..] Would you be interested in a necklace "round robin" with the 5 of us ( Sharon Borsavage) ....it would be something very casual without a lot of rules or stringent deadlines. I think this would be a great collaborative experience. Each of us could start one necklace and send it off to the next one....and could specify some preferences as far as a theme, colors, or necklace length. I wanted this to be fun so we wouldn't want to impose strict deadlines. What do you think?

Please let me know your thoughts...I'm very open to anything. Just wanted this to be fun, and thought it would be great to have a piece of art jewelry in the end from some of our online jewelry friends from around the world. :-)

****What could i say?? i had opened my jewelry's blog 1 month before, and was a "secret admirer" of Cindy , Sharon, Renate, and Veronique!! ****

So, i started my little portion and ask for a long necklace with all metals we can ( copper, silver and brass.)

here my soldered rings.

one portion, one portion plus one portion... after vero's it was already that!!!!

As you will see Renate offers me 3 ways of wearing this necklace, as it is very long, what a clever friend no?

definition: Romizous: totally invented word , in French , to say "Hugs" , we say "Bisous" ( kisses) , we can say "gros bisous" (big hugs ) in a strange an totally crazy language it can become romizous..used by a bit crazy girls.. first i don't learn nothing about English in 1 year, second, i teach impossible words to my foreign friends....isn't it a shame??

What a joy!! i can't wait to share with you this great news!!! i'm published!! yepeee !! it's the first time for me and a very little article, " 5 minute project" in step by step wire! But it's something BIG for me.. your frenchie friend!!

I propose a small tutorial to make hooks earrings, a modest work .but that gave me trouble, so afraid of doing wrong, poorly written ... and then here I am!.

Hi girls!!

First, this little pendant (experience) . I've crocheted very thin wire around a plastic circle.(the hook tip is not bigger than a needle, the wire as thin as sewing thread Mama Miaaaaa!! my poor eyes!! ) .. I will try to put 4 or five of those in a chain as links... i'm not addicted of simple pendants necklaces..

And this one, soldered glass ( I've made a little angel prisoner of the stone.. ) . Labradorite's drops, aquamarine, mother of pearl and crystal.
More than all, i love how mysterious are Labradorite's stones.. stunning colors and shine!!
