We dealt with the Wickam branch.

We rented a property in March.
they took our money. then wouldn't answer questions.
even had the owner of the company do a runner on me pretending he was going to get something in his car.
He drove away!

They confuse the word TENANT with the word SLAVE.

That rang the alarm bells, and as often with a profession that is unregulated and filled with used car salesmen like people hell was to follow.

We filed a complaint against them with the property ombudsman, as expected, estate agent protect other estate agents.

We then had to leave the UK, and they showed their true, evil, face:

They tried to get us to sign an addon to their lease.

They then said they would refuse to show the property.

They tried to keep our deposit in full Â£2000, this is quite a sum of money, some of us have to actually work beyond
photocopying a lease (document can be found for Â£5 online...)

They even opened PRIVATE correspondence!

The landlady who lives in Soberton went into hiding and refused to provide her legal address to be served court documents, this estate agent tried to help her avoid being served.

We fought them for 4 months and got our money back. We are still fighting and will continue to fight to get back 'fees' paid for non existent work and for being insulted.
