An obese alcoholic man randomly plays Draw Something and met a girl, see what happened.

2014-05-03T07:26:00.000+08:00

Brian Fleming's food menu consists of fast food in the morning and a fifth of vodka mixed with a liter of pop at night.

He was morbidly obese, depressed and an alcoholic when he met Jackie Eastham, who had a healthy lifestyle. He would have eaten his sorrow away and ended his life if it hadn't been for Jackie who would eventually inspired him to lose weight.

in 2012, he weighed 625lbs (that's 283.5 kg!). He was a 30 years-old college dropout who would spend hours everyday playing video games. Soon, she (Jackie) would inspire him to stop drinking. He lost 100lbs in the first month just from that.

Jackie lives an extremely health-concious lifestyle because of her condition, where the experience and wisdom comes in handy to coach Brian along. Almost a year after they met on Draw Something, countless online chats and encouragements, Brian managed to lose 400lbs (181kg!). He even found a new job, was in theraphy and trained for his first marathon.

He even flew to Paris to meet Jackie, his champion, in person. They climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower together.

“Jackie is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I feel that she saved my life, even though she would never take credit,” Brian Flemming wrote in a blog post.

It’s never too late and no one is ever too far gone to make a change. Share Brian and Jackie’s inspiring story with others; maybe it will give people motivation to change their lives.

Like the title said, just watch this kid brushing his teeth with a toothbrush attached to a BB (Airsoft) gun and the ricochet actually moved his toothbrush back and forth. Just like an electric toothbrush, but way, WAY faster.

.... And he did it again with a bigger gun.

Kids, do not try this at home.

The Hurwitz Singularity

2014-04-22T10:00:00.000+08:00

"The technological singularity" is a future time speculated in science fiction. At the singularity moment, a human made machine will design a machine more advanced than itself. This moment will mark the end of mankind's dominance. The singularity is the moment that machines become more intelligent than us. Some analysts expect the singularity to occur some time in the 21st century, although their estimates vary. - Jonty Hurwitz.

Jonty Hurwitz - Know Thyself

Sounds like a mumbo jumbo sci-fi thing. But I urge you guys to learn more about singularity, and be afraid, coz tomorrow there'll be Terminators and Jedis and Cars and Wall-Es and whatnots.

Love y'all.

Don't create robots with the will to learn mkays.

Garden in the middle of the desert of Wadi Rum

2014-04-22T09:00:00.000+08:00

There's something interesting going on in southern Jordan. There's a landscape nearby the border of Saudi Arabia that was nicknamed "Valley of the Moon" due to it's alien landscape featured in the middle of the desert.

I can say this, the whole setting somehow restores my faith in humanitarian works. Local, Jordanian Bedouins living in the region called 'Wadi Rum' have become involved in unique agricultural projects that seems to bear the fruit of success.

Just like what I wanted in life. Success.

Amazing, huh?
