Atlassian is going mobile with the new JIRA Mobile Connect (JMC).

This revolutionary new product makes not only iPhone/iPad application developers' life a lot easier but that of the end users as well.

In-app User feedback: Get feedback from your mobile users and engage in 2-way in-app conversations

We have completed the Hungarian translation of JIRA 4.3.x. The translation process was generously sponsored by Indusol Kft.

The translation covers the JIRA Activity Streams, Gadget Directory and Gadget Dashboard plugins as well.

The JIRA language pack may be freely downloaded from our website, while that of the plugins from Atlassian's JIRA site.

$1M - The ultimate win-win strategy

Artificial Intelligence defines concept of a winning strategy in game theory. We all know that being winners often has the side effect to produce losers as well...

An example of a win-win strategy is what Atlassian follows.

Back in 2009, they have started their Starter Licenc programme. This means that fully functional Atlassian products are available for 10 (ten) USD. These licenses are limited to 10 users. With this programme, Atlassian declares its intention to support startups and small development teams. So far so good.

Atlassian has always tried to respond to the needs in the environment they live in. The starter license programme is a manifestation of this sensitivity, as Atlassian funds Roam to Read with all income they make out of the starter licenses.

Today they crossed the unexpected and unbelievable amount of 1.000.000 (one million) USD. This itself makes Atlassian unique and respectful.

What is not less amazing in this Furthermore is that all participants win:

- startups: they can use the suite of Atlassian products to achive high efficiency forming the basis of being successful

- Roam to Read and children they support: schools and libraries are built, scholarships help children to go to school

- Atlassian: dramatically increased the number of customers. Some of the small teams will grow partially because of the products Atlassian provides. The teams will outgrow the 10-user and will purchase full priced licenses. Ultimately, Atlassian will also win.

Win-win-win. Great.

Visual Workflow Designer for JIRA - free of charge

Many JIRA users have complained about the inconvenient and cumbersome UI for composing complex workflows in JIRA.

This is past now.

Atlassian has recently acquired Sysbliss' Visual Workflow Designer and made available for free. This plugin makes workflow designers' life a lot easier as it is now possible to visually design and deploy JIRA-workflows.

The plugin may be easily installed through the Universal Plugin Manager from within JIRA.
