Surprisingly or not, the American population is spending more time and money on beauty than on their education. Thus, regardless of sex, nationality, age or occupation, Americans are extremely attached to indoor tanning salons. The usual surveys reveal the extent of the indoor tanning business in local communities. Americans and Canadians are satisfied with the fact that indoor salons provide a rigurously controlled tanning process, gradual and under supervision. Thanks to these factors, sunburns and health problems are almost out of the question. For instance, 85 percent of those surveyed admit that they really believe in indoor tanning safety. A lot of people also appreciate the privacy and the comfort they get in a tanning salon, which offers them a real break from all the daily tasks they have to attend.

The latest surveys reveal a more balanced male/female profile as compared to a few years ago. Unlike nowadays, in 1996, in most cases women were usual clients. But in the recent years men have become accustomed to indoor tanning facilities and tanning tips.

Many Americans have experienced at least one indoor tanning session in the last ten years. It is said that more than 10 percent of the American population will visit an indoor salon facility. On the other hand, women hold the supremacy of ownership. Surveys point out that more than 50 percent of the indoor salons have female ownership. Neither the age of the tanners nor the nationality is an obstacle for Americans and Canadians. Now, 70 percent of all indoor tanners are over 25 years old. It is no longer a taboo. A lot of people want to cure themselves (from psoriasis, for instance) and to be fit.

Presently there are 25,000 Professional Indoor Tanning Facility Businesses and also 160,000 employees in this industry. The number of clients is encouraging, too: 28 millions. As a matter of fact, a professional indoor tanning salon is operating in almost every town of the USA. There have been reports saying that Hispanic and Afro-American groups share the trend and their number is rising.

Many people consider wine an elitist hobby, but it actually is nothing more than crushed grapes. Wine to many people is a wonderful joy and truly makes life worth living. Many people that want to start drinking wine usually have a few questions.

Here are some answers to some of the most popular questions:

How can I make wine last longer?

Many people buy a bottle of wine and only drink one or two glasses. You can easily make wine last longer by keeping it stored in the refrigerator and by returning the cork to the bottle. You can buy products that create a vacuum and re-cork the bottle of wine, so that it even lasts a longer amount of time. If you have a very expensive bottle of wine, you can purchase a product that removes all the air and replaces the bottle with a special gas and then re-corks it. This type of procedure can have your wine last for years.

What temperature should wine be served?

This question really depends on what kind of wine it is. Most red wines are served at room temperature or a slightly cool temperature of 65 degrees. Some people like it even cooler at around 60 degrees. If you are talking about white wine then the temperature should usually be at or about 45 degrees. If the white wine has extra body, you can usually serve it a little warmer at around 55 degrees. So if you want to get into wine, follow the above tips.

Wine can be used to enhance the gifts in your personalized gift basket. I enjoy giving and receiving gift baskets with wine, cheese, personalized items, Belgian chocolate and gourmet specialty items. Ive given this type gift basket for Christmas and Birthday gifts with great success. Experiment with your wine tasting, ask your friends, add a bottle in your next Gift Basket.

Nancy is an accountant and real estate associate with 'The Dream Team'. Some women have such dilemmas once in a while, some once in a week, and some of them go through this daily. The question bugs Do I look different?, Do I look attractive enough?

Sometimes you often wonder, why do some women become the epitome of fashion whereas some strive for little appreciation even after wearing an expensive diamond necklace.

Well, I believe that beauty is not the cause. For I have noticed some of the most charming ladies being bugged with similar kinds of hassles. The reason is, most women simply follow the stereotyped fashion trends and do not get noticed among the crowd.

The idea is, that you have to dress differently in order to look different. I guess, jewelry happens to be an important part of fashion. Therefore it is necessary that you make some changes in your jewelry box.

To start with, I must say, that simple elegant jewelries are out. Gone are the days of a simple chain with a diamond pendant. Ladies are no longer totems of sophistication. Just try out something much more dashing. Accumulate at least ten to twelve black colored chains of similar look and size. Jumble them together and flaunt it at your slender neck. They would very well complement each other.

When you try to look different, there is no harm in being a little more adventurous. One of the latest trends among fashion freaks is to try out something Bohemian. And when it come to Bohemian fashion, there is nothing like a candlenut necklace. The candlenuts, commonly known as Kukui nuts, are strung together in a string or a ribbon and tied in knot. Black happens to be the most popular color. However other colors like green, brown are also in vogue. The Kukui nut jewelries can be worn as necklace and also as bracelets.

You know what, I have always admired fashion conscious ladies since my early teenage. I still remember how my young English teacher at the high school adorned her ears with long wooden danglers. As she moved her head sideways while explaining the lessons, the danglers simply danced around her beautiful ears and caught our attention for an entire hour. Later on, I came to know that such wooden danglers can be easily made at home. All you have to do is cut out two stripes of reasonable length from a piece of ply and smoothen them with a sandpaper. Make sure you get the edges rounded. Drill small holes in each of them and attach a jump ring at it and attach it again with a hook. And there you are! That would look elegant as well as dandy!

Now while we discuss about fashion jewelries, how can the beads be left behind? You can make simple beaded earrings at home. Just grab a headpin, and put inside some beads of various colors. But the colors should be well synchronized. Get a round-nose plier and bend the extended portion of the earring at an angle of ninety degree. Bend the end of the headpin and complete the loop. Attach it with a French wire. And you are done with it.

If you are quite innovative, you can try this one too. Boil some eggs and peel off the outer hard layer. Make sure that the thin film inside is also removed. Coat them with two parts of epoxy coupled with a chemical hardener. Get a ceramic tile and coat it with petroleum jelly. Rest the egg shells over it and get them dried. After sometime, cut them out in different shapes and paint it with a nail polish. Once again you may implement some of your innovative skills by painting them with different colors. Drill a small hole and attach a jump ring.

I shall be happy if you like my ideas and try them out. But I would be happier if you discard them and try something different that comes to your mind.

After all, fashion is not about following the latest trends of market. Fashion is all about flaunting your own style that would reflect your own personality. Sometimes, the jewelry you wear may not go hand in hand with your personality. But once you are confident about your accessories, you can simply flaunt anything under the sun.

So what are you ladies waiting for? Just get going, full speed ahead!

- Jessica P -

To answer the need of those playing it but finding it difficult to win constantly, I have put down a few practical tips. Read, use and win!

1) Watch out for those high cards! Because your remaining cards will be added up at the end of the round, ditch any high cards. Anything higher than eight or nine is a card that you must send to the trash. It really goes without saying that the really high cards such as the Jack, King and Queen. The Ace is sometimes considered a ten and sometimes a one, so verify this before you start playing.

2) Note next to whom you are sitting. Before you start playing and in fact even before you take your seat, scan the crowd. If you know them, then it is better for you because you know which player is smarter than the others. Now, avoid sitting in the position where you will be playing after him. Do this and you will win only rarely. If he's wise, he will counter your every move and block you from winning. So, just sit somewhere else.

3) As keeping in touch with the previous tip, but now on a positive note: pick the seat that will put you in a playing position where you will play before the smartest person. Once there, you can block him or her from getting the hands they wish. But be careful and do not waste all your time focusing only on their hands. Remember that the objective is to win and not just to block that player.

4) Always opt for the similar number sequences like the five of clubs, the five of hearts and the five of diamonds instead for the running up sequences like eight, nine and ten. Mathematical odds favors this sequence, but this is not all. If you already have two similar items, the likelihood that some other player is trying to get the exact same sequence is lower than the likelihood that another player is trying to get a sequence that clashes with yours if you are trying to build a running-up sequence.

5) Adding jokers to the pack? If you are, glance at the players when they pick up a card. It is very difficult for unprofessional players to hide their delight when they get a joker. Once you know who has such a card, take note of the sequences they are trying to make and block them if you can. In addition, throw down any sequence that you have that could clash with theirs.

Closure:
Fun is not only what you will experience when engaging in one of the different forms of rummy. Other than a pastime that generates laughter, friendly competition and bonding, rummy is also a game that can be played for money. I do not suggest following this course, but if you wish to play head on against pros or even others from all around the world, playing rummy online could be a viable option for you.

- gambling-portal.com -

Stress abounds. Managers often tell me they cant afford the time or cost for my humor workshops; how can they afford not to address workplace stress.

We know clinically that laughter and play have medicinal qualities, offering physical, psychological and physiological benefits as well. In the workplace, humor and fun can increase productivity, encourage creativity, enhance team building, and thus improve esprit de corps.

While we may not be able to control everything that happens to us in our jobs and work environments, we do have control over how we choose to react. I coach others how to create an environment which is safe and friendly, and use humor to help maintain a healthy balance between the pressure and seriousness which comes from high stakes jobs and a competitive marketplace. Remember that humor starts from within. Being able to laugh at your own foibles goes a long way toward creating a healthy work climate in which to flourish.

The following are activities and strategies for you as individuals, workgroups and managers. Be creative and use these ideas to stimulate your own remedies to workplace stress.

- Adorn your work area with cartoons, headlines or funny photos which bring a smile to your face and visiting co-workers'. Whether you're surrounded by your favorite Pez dispensers childhood, or wry cartoons that speak to your tastes, let your work area comfort and humor you while taking some of the edge off the standard office decor.

- Tap a co-worker to be your humor-partner. Bring a daily joke to share. Commiserate about funny workplace events. Keep each other buoyed with good cheer. When the chips are down your humor partner can chip away at your depression, and vice versa.

- Don't think cubicles limit your humor options. I've seen shower curtains, umbrellas and other devices used effectively to set a light or semi-serious tone. For some, creativity flourishes behind their cubicle's shower curtain. People tampering with your work area? Don't get angryprotect it with yellow "Crime Scene" tape!

- Subscribe to a humor website to be e-mailed a free daily or weekly humorous story, joke and anecdote. Sites such as www.netfunny.com/rhf/ or www.oraclehumor.com/ are two examples.

Are You Laughin' At Me? One manager, known for his moodiness, acknowledged it with a "Mood-O-Meter" outside his door. Both he and his employees took turns forecasting his mood: from fire-breathing to variable clouds to periodic eruptionsproceed at your own risk. Don't underestimate the power of self-effacing humor for making yourself more accessible and liked.

Room for Laughter. Some companies designate a room, work area or corner of their office as a romper room, where frolicking and silliness is allowed. Whether yours has a punching bag, games, a dartboard or foosball, it's a room for letting off steam and taking a break from the grind.

Whine Not. Everyone loathes whiners yet we all need to blow off steam periodically. One group of creative trainers and their manager decreed Thursdays to be effective whining days. They self-policed themselves the rest of the week, making sure not to whine. Yet even their Thursday gripes had a departmental sanction and somehow seemed healthier. After all, they belly ached together. A ripple effect actually improved the morale of departments adjacent to theirs!

Meting Out Humor. Many professionals approach meetings with trepidation. A dash of humor can make a difference. For regular meetings earmark one or two minutes each meeting for a humorous interlude. In one workgroup a "humor hand" rotates from meeting to meeting. Employees take turns setting a lighter tone to the meeting, insuring everybody is engaged. An anecdote, verbal or physical activity focuses the group on the task at hand and brings colleagues together in a spirit of fun.

When not to use Humor. Not all humor is good humor. Humor that hurts, ostracizes or is cruel will have a detrimental effect on others and you. Strive for humor that is inclusive, creative and captures our human essence. By now you know that sexist, racist, ageist jokes and crude humor are not only inappropriate, but can lead to sanctions, termination or even lawsuits. Be sensitive when telling jokes involving terminations, reductions in force (RIFs) and personal tragedies. Their hurt can linger long after the fact. . When in doubtleave it out!

Appropriate humor can make hard tasks easier, collaborations fun and certainly make workdays go faster. Laugh, and the work world laughs with you!

- ExpressionsofExcellence.com -

Some like to drink hot steaming coffee, while others dribble over cold coffee shakes. Choices are infinite these days because flavored coffee is in the move. Coffee now comes in different flavors that are mouth-watering. Coffee lovers across the world are experiencing the delight with these flavors, and with new flavors being innovated to blend with coffee every day. The art of flavoring coffee evolved years ago with basic ingredients like cardamom, cinnamon, and pepper. Since then auspicious beginning, flavorings have passed long journey. Flavors these days comprise mango, almond, hazelnut, pumpkin, peanut butter, and numerous to mention. Flavored gourmet coffee is a highly popular drink consumed.

Flavors in liquid form are added after roasting. Flavoring should be done with proper mixture, a pound of coffee flavored with half an ounce of flavor. Coffee can be enhanced with most of the flavors that are conceivable. Technology has helped by adding flavor directly to coffee bean instead of adding after grinding. Butterscotch Toffee, Chocolate Raspberry Cream, Carmel Kiss, Cinnamon Toddy, Chocolate Turtle are the common flavors mixed with coffee. The type of coffee beans used has a huge impact in determining the taste of the coffee flavor. Arabica beans having low acidity level and bitterness are most often used for making the best flavored coffee. These beans are of superior quality and are milder and flavorful than Robusta beans used in commercial and instant coffees. Experienced coffee roasters produce best flavored coffee from a mix of beans from diverse regions, laying in the coffee selection the same care as they do for classic coffees.

Best flavored coffee contains cent percent natural flavors, while commercial coffee uses artificial flavorings. Natural oils in flavored coffees are extracted from a mixture of sources, such as cocoa beans, southern pecan, hazelnut, vanilla beans, various nuts and berries. Synthetic flavors are chemicals manufactured on a commercial base. There are many flavoring substances which can be supplemented to coffee to give an extra ordinary flavor experience. Gourmet flavored coffee is made by applying oil to roasted beans. These oils are produced specifically for flavoring coffee beans. The best oils are primed using natural constituents. These ingredients expensive than synthetic ones conserve the natural flavor and enhance the richness of coffee. Oils manufactured by chemicals are likely to distort the actual taste. The various popular types of gourmet flavored coffee are Black Forest cake, Apricot cream, chocolate raspberry, Caf Napoleon, Jamaican rum, vanilla hazelnut and Southern pecan.

Adding a feathered touch of flavored coffee to regular coffee beans brings an exceptional taste that is unique.

- Adam A -

Whether you have a high profile career or are a stay-at-home mom, the term still gets attached to women who posses these qualities no matter how nice we are. Men who posses the same qualities don't seem to have any negative connotations applied to them, but instead are respected and admired - even when they act like ruthless jerks! In the work place and in relationships, if women show too much femininity we can be seen as weak, but if we are strong and confident we are labeled controlling bitches. I feel we should be allowed to express our femininity while also showing confidence in ourselves and our capabilities without being assaulted by labels.

As single women and moms we all manage to run our lives independent of a man. (See my profile at www.singlemommindy.blogspot.com) Add confidence, career success, and a positive, outgoing personality and that becomes a threat to anyone who is the least bit insecure about themselves men and women alike. Confidence is intimidating to those who don't have it, and they feel they can attain it by taking you down. If someone feels they can't compare, (and being insecure, they do compare) they will try to knock you down to feel better about themselves. This is a key reason why we end up being labeled a bitch.

Being confident further empowers our independence as women and enables us to be successful in many areas of our lives. For many, the higher we rise, the further these people would like to see us fall. Somehow, being called a bitch undermines our success and shakes us up because we CARE! We dont want to be cast negatively, but instead be recognized and appreciated for all of our qualities and capabilities. Sometimes we feel we need to do damage control when weve been labeled a bitch, so we become overly sweet to try to reverse it. If youre someone who can relate to this, then you also know this never works.

How does all this play out in a relationship? Being a confident and independent woman myself, I can tell you what Ive learned. Ive known, dated, and been in relationships with men who say they are very attracted to a woman who is comfortable in her own skin, and I believe they are. But when these men are in a relationship with that kind of woman and arent strong and confident enough themselves, they start trying to knock us down because theyre intimidated by us. They start to feel inadequate and then blame us for making them feel that way, and the relationship fails. This happens no matter how affirming you are of him if he knows hes not measuring up to his own standards regardless of what you think and say otherwise, you are the scapegoat for all that is wrong in the world!

This independent woman/bitch conundrum is not specific to the workplace or relationships, its everywhere; so what can we do about it? Can we change it, or somehow learn to live with it? I believe the reason is that we do not know what love is, which means we can’t identify it when we see it!

We are looking for the dramatic, life altering, breath holding love we read about and see at the theater. That isn’t love...it is just good acting and you paid well to see it!

We can’t find love online because we aren’t honest while online. If we are honest with ourselves and others we will all be in a better position when it comes to love.

I think you should make a personal vow to not try to find love online until you are sure of what you want and not until then. You will save yourself and other singles a lot of time!

Think about this...how can you get to an unfamiliar “place” without a map or without someone giving you directions?

Most of us go online looking for love but we are wearing a blind fold and earplugs. So, with that being said, how are we going to find love?

We can start by removing the blind fold, the earplugs and listing what we want. Be honest, and right it down. You can always go back and change it.

Take your list and use it like a shopping list. Let it help you find what you know you want and need.

We will only be able to find love online if we are brutally honest with ourselves about what we are looking for and what we ideally want!

Do you know how to Find, Catch & Keep the love of your life in 7 days? Traditionally the only solutions available have been painful and expensive cosmetic surgeries, toxin injections, and harsh chemical peels. Each of which has a long list of potentially dangerous side effects. Recent scientific breakthroughs have allowed for the development of more gentle cosmetic products that can reduce saggy skin as well as facial lines and wrinkles without the risks involved with other more traditional procedures.

Probably you are confused with all the different ingredients that we can find in anti aging skin care products, and with so many choices, we don't even know where to start.

Aging is related to accumulation of damage at the cellular level. Offenders include environment, free radicals, and chemicals. The best way to deal with aging skin is to ensure that you take a proactive approach to skin care and follow a few simple steps to help prevent the early onset of aging and keep your skin hydrated and moisturised.

STEP 1. Use A Preservative Free Paraben Free Skin Care System

The major key in reducing aging skin and restoring youthful lustre is to avoid preservatives in your skin care products. Preservatives, methylparaben in particular, have been shown to increase the damage to skin caused by UV light, thus increasing the aging of skin .

If you want to prevent aging of your skin you really need to be aware of what you are putting on your skin. While many companies claim their products are “all natural” and of the “finest quality,” a close look at the ingredients reveals they contain toxic synthetic preservatives, ‘suspected’ carcinogens, drying alcohols, and synthetic fragrances and dyes.

So make an educated decision to use products that contain absolutely no preservatives . A good book to refer to is “The Truth About Cosmetics…And Some Natural Alternatives” by Haru Naito.

Until recently, most skin care products around the world have contained preservatives that promote skin aging. However, new skin care technology has developed and there are now a few unique skin care ranges on the market that have eliminated preservatives with the goal to support the skin’s state of wellness and protect the skin from premature aging. (http://www.revolutionaryskincare.info ).

In fact a world’s first water-based skincare line has been recently released in Japan, Australia and the US which uses a revolutionary patented water filtration system where fungus and bacteria can not grow thus eliminating the need for any preservatives. You can receive a free report and skin care brochure at http://www.preservativefreeskincare.info

STEP 2. Keep Your Skin Clean

Cleanse your skin with a gentle exfoliating cleanser. Make sure you do not leave on make up or allow residue to build up on your skin. This will lead to increased stress on your skin and can cause pores to clog and become infected.

The key here is not to rub, scrape, or be overly abrasive in the process. You will require a gentle cleanser that contains a fine abrasive to get into your skin pores and remove bacteria and soil. New skin care technology uses a fine ground stone which has tiny holes, when you wash our face, the stone goes into the skin pores and removes bacteria and soil from the pores.

STEP 3. Keep Your Skin Properly Hydrated.

Hydrating aging skin and helping it to retain moisture are the keys to reducing and preventing wrinkles. Water provides hydration to our skin. So you require a skin care line that can provide water to your skin cells and plump them up like a grape rather than shrivelled up and dry like a saltanna. Look at the hydration rates of the skin care product you are using and the clinical proven results.

Also many skin care products use carriers to take the moisturising ingredients into the cells. You need to ensure that no carrier chemicals are used which can be absorbed into your circulation and can cause serious health issues. A new water-based skincare line hydrates the skin by 80% after only one use and uses the technology of glyconutrients (plant based nutrients) to carry the water to the skin cell and hold it in. This dramatically reduces wrinkles. Research also shows that glyconutrients in skin care products seal the skin keeping in the water and keeping harmful elements out, meaning skin cells will be regenerated and skin can return to be like a babies bottom.

So use a skin care line that hydrates and uses safe carrier nutrients to fight the visible signs of aging by reducing wrinkles around your eyes, mouth and forehead.

STEP 4. Nourish your skin with healthy ingredients

Nourishing the skin with the proper ingredients is also important.

Use skin care that delivers only healthy nutrients that can protect your skin from premature aging, stress and dryness. Many plants in the world have long been recognized for their therapeutic health benefits. Just make sure the ingredients are natural plant foods or certified organic ingredients. Today many scientific studies demonstrate the numerous benefits of using specific botanicals that provide nourishing properties that assist your body in renewing healthy moisture enhanced skin tissues. This is the foundation of a preservative free skincare product line.

STEP 5. Use A Wrinkle Cream That Is Proven To Work

Wrinkles and spots are normally too deep to be effected by skin care products, but not now with the recent advancement in skin care technology skin cells can be corrected from damage done and create new healthy skin cells.

An anti-wrinkle cream lessens the appearance of your wrinkles, depending on how often you use it, the type and amount of active ingredient in the wrinkle cream and the extent of the wrinkles you want to treat.

Do they work? Consider these points when judging the merits of using a wrinkle cream: Ensure the skin care system you use has been subjected to research and clinical trials to prove their benefit. You’ll likely need to use the wrinkle cream once or twice a day for many weeks before noticing improvements. Remembering that skin cells rejuvenate every 28 days.

STEP 6. Support your skin’s health and prevent premature aging with good quality supplements.

ANTIOXIDANTS

Oxidative stress is the principle cause of aging and premature death. By controlling free radicals, anti-oxidants influence how fast and how well we age. It is virtually impossible to get optimal amount of antioxidants from foods alone. So invest in a good quality antioxidant. After a lifetime of exposure to pollutants, we need antioxidant help. The best antioxidant on the market is provided by the Australian Bush Plum and studies at an Australian University provides the research to prove the effect of this antioxidant which is provided in a capsule food supplement.

PHYTOSTEROLS

Scientists can tell how old you are physiologically based on the amount of DHEA (primary hormone of the body) in your blood. Levels peak at age 25 years and then decline. Most researchers agree to retard aging DHEA levels must be maintained. In our modern diet our daily intake of hormone modulator is severely depleted. A Phyto Hormone supplement provides your body naturally with the building blocks to maintain and enhance normal hormone production. It will support efficient fat burning, help you look younger, feel younger and potentially live longer.

GLYCONUTRIENTS

Science has now established that certain natural plant sugars are vital for maintaining good health. Glyconutrients play a vital role in disease prevention and immune system restoration. Supplementation with a blend of glyconutrients have been shown to improve the immune system and improve the antioxidant level inside cells. In addition research shows that glyconutrients help with reversing 8 of the biological signs of aging. A good reason to start supplementing your diet with these nutrients. There is only one manufacturer of the exclusive source of the complete blend of these nutrients.

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS

Make sure you get a good blend of essential fatty acids in your diet.. Supplementation with essential fatty acids supports your skin to become softer and smoother. They are necessary to make cells membranes and for many of the important hormones and other chemical messengers that tell your body what to do.

In recent years, researchers have been able to determine the reason essential fats are so critical to the formation of soft, smooth skin texture and the management of certain skin conditions. Investigative studies have shown that the link between fabulous skin texture and intake of essential oils is explained by the effect essential fats have on the synthesis of prostaglandin hormones within epidermal cells.

So supplementation with a combination of these nutrients is required for you are wanting to reduce the signs of aging and support your skins health from inside as well as outside.

STEP 7. ADEQUATE REST

Make sure you get enough rest, so that your skin has time to repair itself.

We all know that aging skin can be problematic and sometimes even downright scary. By following the tips listed above and carefully selecting your skin care products, you'll be one step ahead in the battle against aging skin. We all get old but we don't have to look that way!

The bottom line is to know the science and ingredients behind the products you use, look at the clinical trials, ensure the company is ethical and practices good manufacturing practices and then stick to doing business with one that has a solid reputation for delivering results. There are countless products on the market but only a handful that are based on legitimate science. These are the ones to add to your daily skin care regiment.

The one thing you must do is be constant, without getting obsessed, with whatever you choose to rejuvenate your skin. A new era of skin care technology is a huge breakthrough in the battle against our aging skin.

So in summary your Skin Care wish list should include:

1. Preservative Free
2. Anti- Aging
3. Fragrance Free
4. Colorant Free
5. Allergy Tested
6. Suits All Skin Types
7. Non- Comedogenic (not clogging, won’t aggravate acne)
8. No Animal Testing
9. Opthamologist Tested
10. Visible Real Results

- preservativefreeskincare.info -

This will make it less intimidating in going up to a woman and talking to her, if you tell yourself that it is pretty much the same as initiating a conversation with a stranger: scary, but not extremely so.

Men all over the world try endlessly to strike upon the right technique or pick up line, all to secure that first date, and then the subsequent and elusive second date. No technique or pick up line is going to work for you, if you lack self confidence. Women look for a man with value, who can contribute to a relationship. If you lack confidence, however, fret not. Below are 4 powerful steps to gaining confidence with women.

Step 1: Online Dating

Yes, laugh if you want. It is a fallacy that online dating is only for the old or the desperate, but this is not true. It is a great meeting ground for getting to know other people first, before deciding if it is someone you would like to meet in real life. It also gives you the opportunity to let the real you shine through, especially if you tend to seize up upon being in the presence of women. This should give you an indication of what dating is like face to face, it should be about getting to know the other person better, and not about using techniques to secure a second date.

Step 2: Your Personality

No one likes to hear someone spend the entire evening whining about the bitch at work, or how they deserved a promotion more than so-and-so. Similarly, keep the negativity away from your date: it is a sure conversation killer, and you can be assured that your date will never want to see you again. Be positive, and allow your personality to shine through. That is the major determinant on whether you will make it to a second date. Being positive and smiling will also help you to act more confident than you actually are, and confidence is a big draw for women.

Step 3: Location

Suggest a neutral location that your date will feel comfortable in. Pick somewhere central with people, so that she does not feel intimidated or threatened. However, do not go overboard and pick an overly crowded location. This will limit the conversation and the noise levels and crowd will reduce the interaction and opportunities for you to get to know each other. Plan out an activity that you think she will enjoy, such as going to the drive-in movies, or a board game café where you can spend quality time with privacy for conversation, without it being too threatening for her.

Step 4: The Bill

Always pay for the bill. Going Dutch is not an option on the first date, simply because manners dictate that the guy should pay for the dinner, or the movies. Paying for the bill without hesitation will also make your date feel like she is being treated like a princess, and that you value her company. It is also a subtle signal that you are a stable person who is capable of treating a woman right.

Follow these 4 simple steps to gaining confidence with women. Remember, it is not about tricks and techniques, it is about holding your nervousness at bay to allow the real you to establish a connection or rapport with your date.

- ConfidenceBuildingCourses.com -

You can be the prettiest thing in the room, but wrinkled, sun damaged skin can certainly bring your appearance down several notches. Skin care moisturizer cream is just the thing you need to help prevent new wrinkles, reduce the appearance of the wrinkles you have, and help heal sun damaged skin. Whether you struggle with dry skin, combination skin, oily skin, acne, or some other type of skin condition, there is a moisturizer that is made just for you. The only challenge is finding the right moisturizer for you and knowing what to look for. It’s all about getting the details right -- what types of moisturizer are best for you and how often to apply them. Luckily for you, we’ve got the scoop on the best moisturizers for your needs.

Water Based Moisturizers are a No-No

When purchasing moisturizer cream, many women simply do not stop and look at the ingredients. Often women are attracted to a pretty box or a pretty jar with a fancy sounding name without realizing that many of the moisturizers out there contain up to 40% water. Other women make the mistake of going with a water based moisturizer, thinking that water is the most natural moisturizer in the world and that it should do wonders for their skin. Strangely enough, that is not the case. Different all natural ingredients, like Aloe Vera, are better suited for a moisturizer for the face, especially for those looking for anti aging or anti wrinkle benefits. It may not seem like it but water based moisturizers are a recipe for disaster when it comes to dry skin. They dry out your skin even more as opposed to adding much needed moisture.

Consider the Benefits of Natural Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera based creams are different and for those who have only used water based products or for those looking for a change in their present moisturizing routine, this is the best and only alternative. A few of the skin care moisturizer cream products even contain essential fatty acids and other ingredients that actually imitate the natural actions and compositions of your skin. These special ingredients work wonders against drying and breakouts, and makes it easier for the ingredients to be absorbed into the skin. Aloe Vera itself is 100 percent natural, coming straight from the plant of the same name and is known for its healing benefits to damaged skin.

How Often is Too Often?

Depending on your skin and its makeup, you never know how much to moisturize until you figure out what is best for you. If you have normal skin, moisturizing once a day should be sufficient, but if you have dry skin or skin with a condition you may want to consider moisturizing twice daily -- once during the morning hours and once before bed.

Be sure to follow the directions that are specified on the back of moisturizer box or jar for best results and remember that not all moisturizers are created equal. Some of them have specific instructions and are designed to treat different skin conditions so be sure to read the label carefully. Some moisturizers have natural oils, vitamins, lipids, and other ingredients that are designed to smooth and beautify your skin. Be warned that chemicals have been added to other moisturizer creams and these should be strictly avoided.

How do you know which is the best skin care moisturizer cream for you? In all reality, there is no “one size fits all.” Everyone has a different type of skin and unfortunately there is a bit of trial and error that you must go through. You have to find out the hard way sometimes but often you can take shortcuts by getting recommendations from other women with skin similar to yours. Remember though that just because a particular product works for someone else does not necessarily mean that it will work for you. One thing you can be sure of though is that it is pretty hard to go wrong with an aloe vera based moisturizer. Aloe Vera can heal damaged skin, moisturize, and even provide some anti aging benefits as well. Plus it doesn’t dry out the skin like water based moisturizers do...and it should go without saying that dry skin is much more prone to wrinkles than hydrated, moisturized skin.

The benefits of Aloe Vera are endless and no matter what type of skin you have, you should be able to enjoy the benefits of this all natural ingredient that was discovered more than 3,500 years ago and that is still being used today. An Aloe Vera based moisturizer can help give you healthier, more beautiful skin no matter what kind of skin you have and no matter how much sun damage you have.

Be sure to read the label before buying any moisturizer cream and always, always, always demand an Aloe Vera based moisturizer.

Do you hate fine lines?

Do you hate wrinkles?

Do you hate sun spots?

Do you have old acne scars to get rid of?

Do you want to feel beautiful again?

An Aloe Vera based moisturizer cream just may be the way to go and due to its healing properties, Aloe Vera should be something you look for in any skin care moisturizer cream.

- antiwrinklesecretrevealed.com -

A symbol of manhood, strength, dominance and success, the penis and all its workings have prominently figured in the art and imagination of cultures worldwide. Yet all the attention given to penis size, erection capability and lasting power are really pretty much an adjunct to the real moment of truth: the orgasm. After all, isn't that the real goal of all the penis-centered concern, to have bigger and more potent climaxes?

That may explain why the spotlight has focused more recently on ejaculation. Men are considering not only the intensity or strength of orgasms, but how their volume of ejaculate affects many aspects of their sexual identity and enjoyment.

Overview of ejaculation

To get a sense of the vital role of a healthy, abundant volume of ejaculate in male pleasure, let's take a look at how male climax works.

First, semen collects in the ejaculatory ducts during sexual stimulation. Male orgasm happens at the peak of sexual pleasure, when the various muscle groups contract simultaneously: rhythmic contractions of the pubococcygeus muscle (pc muscle) occur along with contractions of the anal sphincter, rectum and perineum, and the ejaculatory ducts and muscles around the penis. The contracting muscles are the key to delivering the load of semen. The first few contractions are intense and close together, occurring at about 0.8-second intervals. As orgasm continues, the contractions diminish in intensity and duration and occur at less frequent intervals.

The exact amount of ejaculate is determined by a number of factors, including heredity, diet, overall health, frequency of sexual activity and age. The content, however, is about the same for all men: the ejaculate contains sperm and a long list of components that read like a vitamin pill label: ascorbic acid (vitamin C), calcium, chlorine, cholesterol, choline, citric acid, creatine, fructose, glutathione, hyaluronidase, inositol, lactic acid, magnesium, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, purine, pyrimidine, pyruvic acid, sodium, sorbitol, vitamin B12, and zinc. Each of these ingredients, though, represents just a tiny amount -- and the total measure of a typical "load" is somewhere between 1.5 ml and 5 ml. The majority of the ejaculate volume is fluid from the prostate and the seminal vesicles.

The taste of semen varies greatly from one man to another, again affected by diet and overall physical health. The range goes from salty to sweet, may be bitter or mellow, and sometimes creates a very mild "numbing" effect to the lips and tongue of the taster. The taste can be deliberately changed, according to a number of online and physician's sources.

Healthy ejaculate will appear either translucently whitish or greyish to opaque white. Men who've had a vasectomy will have lighter, more translucent semen, devoid of the typical 15 to 20 million sperm of a usual ejaculation. Though a variety of textures and appearances are within the healthy range, most people equate very white, dense and more voluminous ejaculate with a healthier and more potent male.

Influences on ejaculation volume

When should a man be concerned about his volume and potency? Sometimes a dramatic decrease in ejaculate volume may indicate blockage of one of the ejaculatory ducts. Duct obstruction is diagnosed by prostate ultrasound. Other possible causes of decreased volume include retrograde ejaculation or a long-term infection of the prostate (chronic prostatitis). Decreased semen volume may simply be a normal part of aging and may not necessarily result in decreased fertility.

If there is concern about the amount, appearance and texture of the ejaculate, it may be advisable to consider semen testing by a qualified physician. The standard semen analysis measures semen volume and pH, microscopically analyses for debris and agglutination, assesses sperm concentration and morphology, counts sperm leukoctyes and identifies immature germ cells. Usually this is carried out after two to seven days of sexual abstinence, on a semen sample collected at the doctor's office. The physician will probably also wish to conduct tests to rule out urinary infection, gonorrhea and chlamydia.

In many cases, the semen analysis yields results that are technically within the "normal" range, yet men may still feel dissatisfied with the contracting power of orgasms, the volume and appearance of their ejaculate, and their fertility. For them, and for men who simply wish to experience the added confidence and pleasure of higher semen volume, there is an excellent natural preparation known as Semenax™ (www.Semenax.com) which holistically addresses the problem.

Semenax™ has been shown to increase the volume of ejaculate by as much as 500 percent, and improves quality of sperm, motility of sperm, overall sperm count, and efficiency of semen and sperm production.

Benefits of increasing volume

The advantages of orgasming with greater volume and power are numerous. By increasing both volume of fluid and quantity/health of sperm, the load is not only bigger, more impressive and more pleasurable, but much more potent, too.

The larger the volume of fluid and sperm that's available for each orgasm, the more contractions it takes to shoot all of it -- and each contraction is stronger and more intense. The male orgasm, typically quite a brief event, can become a much longer-lasting experience.

Potency and fertility are of concern to all men, but particularly those with an immediate desire to impregnate their mate. Infertility is increasingly common, and a product like Semenax™ is a good help in this area.

Finally, there are significant benefits to a man's confidence when he is able to increase ejaculate volume and power. Sexual confidence is tied not only to success in romantic endeavours, but to many other kinds of success as well; studies show confidence in sexual identity carries over into every aspect of a man's life.

How volume-boosting products work

Volume increasers vary a great deal in formulation, cost and manufacture methods. Here we'll look at a very popular and proven choice, Semenax, to demonstrate how it works.

Semenax™ was developed by a group of health professionals to improve every aspect of sexual function and enjoyment for men. The focus is on volume boosting, because of its many related benefits. Formulated of natural ingredients with centuries of anecdotal proof in many cultures worldwide, the Semenax™ product contains botanicals and natural ingredients to tonify and support the ejaculatory ducts, epididymis, testes, prostate gland, seminal vesicles and vas deferens -- that is, every part of the male reproductive system.

Semenax is manufactured in a GMP Certified Pharmaceutical facility (something to look for when shopping for volume products), and its ingredients include the amino acids L-arginine HCL, L-carnitine and L-lysine to increase testosterone and sperm count and motility; herbals epimedium sagittatum, catuaba bark and South American maca to boost libido and potency; and nutritionals to aid testosterone synthesis and prostate health.

When shopping for a volume boosting product, check for manufacture in a GMP Certified Pharmaceutical facility, statements attesting to testing and research, and laboratory-controlled dosing.

- Steven C -

When pressing the deflator button to descend, we seemed to get mysteriously, suddenly recharged by a new energy, the feel of the deep seawater through our wet suits soothing.

Ready to dive!

Welcome to Tulamben: one of the world's best diving sites near this island paradise. This site has attracted diving lovers from home and abroad to check out the underwater life and to treasure its beauty.

On the day we dived there were about 50 divers divided into several groups, mostly crowding the site of the U.S. Liberty shipwreck.

"During peak season, there could hundreds of people diving in this particular site," said Chris, our guide from Bali Scuba.

The U.S. cargo ship was torpedoed by the Japanese during World War II. It is now covered with anemones, gorgonian and coral.

Near the shipwreck, a school of Jackfish passed by, apparently unfazed by the arrival of divers. A school of Surgeonfish even approached Chris, as if worshipping him as a god of fish. It was a rare yet fascinating scene.

Besides the shipwreck, the coral garden and drop-off were must-see sites replete with underwater life, with examples of Napoleon, Stingrays, Clownfish, Barracuda, Butterflyfish and Angelfish.

With 12 to 25-meter visibility and relatively slow currents, Tulamben has a perfect seabed not only for diving but also for getting to know the underwater beauty.

- thejakartapost -

Enough water and energy boosting food is essential, as well as decent boots. With common sense to keep you to the path, you do not need a guide.

A well-maintained track, laid with roughly hewn stones that are reasonably secure, leads right up to the summit. Do not stray off the track as there are many gorges and ravines, covered with vegetation and almost invisible. A crater sometimes spews out toxic gases, so it is wise to check the condition of the mountain with the ranger or the locals at the last village before the trek.

In ancient Javanese mythology, Lawu is called Mahendra and legend has it that the gods who created the first kingdom in Java descended from heaven here. In later history, Lawu was the retreat of the last king of Majapahit, Brawijaya V. On the eve of the Javanese New Year, thousands of adherents of the indigenous Javanese belief - kebatinan - climb to the summit to meditate.

As in other sacred places in Java, names that dot the landscape often echo the ancient Indian epic, Mahabharata. The crater, for instance, is called Candradimuka, believed to be the place where the gods boiled Bhima's son Gatotkaca in molten metal to make him invincible. Bhima is the second of the five Pandawa brothers, who are the main protagonists in the Mahabharata.

A cave called Sigolo-golo recalls the name of the cave that the Pandawa brothers, led by the brave Bhima, escaped through when their palace apartment was burned down by their evil cousins the Kurawa.

Brawijaya V had a fascination with honest Bhima, for in the Karanganyar regency (in Central Java), on the Surakarta side of Lawu, he built two fascinating temples dedicated to him; Candi Sukuh which looks almost Mayan and Candi Cetho.

Candi Cetho was "developed" on the orders of the late president Suharto without any archaeological considerations. Irresponsible and inappropriate development is still irreversibly changing the spiritual sites of Lawu. The current building of a Javanese pendapa pavilion with marble flooring, over a sacred stone in the area near the summit called the keputren - the princesses' quarters- by a wealthy businessman, is but one example.

The shortest route to the summit of Lawu begins in the Cemara Sewu village, between the resorts of Tawangmangu and Sarangan. You can also begin from Cemara Kandang, but the trek is longer and the path is not paved. The distance between Cemara Sewu and the summit called Hargo Dumilah is 7 kilometers. The average time needed to climb to the summit is 7 to 9 hours, but if you are fit, you can do it in 4 to 5 hours. Super fit mountaineers fly up in 3 hours.

For the first two kilometers or so you walk through agricultural land, where the locals plant vegetables amongst charred skeletons of trees that stand as a reminder that this area is prone to forest fires. As you go higher the vegetation changes and if you are climbing in daylight, you will begin to notice that inquisitive, orange beaked, brown birds are following you. These are Jalak Gading (Acridotheres javanicus) and are endemic to Lawu. Unlike other wild birds in Java, these guardians of Lawu are protected by the belief that whoever attempts to harm them will get lost and perish. The birds do not have the fear of humans that animals in Java have (except for city rats).

To reach the summit for sunrise, begin climbing in evening. The advantage of hiking in the night is that the sight of the dauntingly steep hills will not deflate your spirits. It is best to chose a time close to full moon in the dry season. You will enjoy the millions of stars in the sky, twinkling, falling, and shooting. There are five resting places on the way to the summit where you can light a campfire if you need to keep warm while you rest but be sure to extinguish the fire properly before you leave and remember that the best way to stay warm is to keep moving. It is dangerous to wander off the track looking for firewood.

At the fifth resting post, you will find a shack by a shallow well that has a tiny spring at the bottom of it. This is the sacred Sendang Drajat and the freezing cold water from this spring is believed to have the power to make the person who bathes in it attain high achievements in life.

Mr. and Mrs. Parto live in the shack and they sell food and hot drinks at very reasonable prices considering that they have to carry everything up the path that you have just climbed. Next door to their shack is a cave where you can take a nap if you do not have a tent.

Alternatively, you can walk a little further to the site called Hargo Dalem, where Brawijaya V used to meditate. Mbok Yem and her son Muis also have a warung here, and space to rest.

These two places are good places to rest because the worst is over and the summit, Hargo Dumilah is a mere 0.8 kilometers away.

Down the other way from the summit, there is a flat plain called Selo Pundutan with many Edelweiss blooms. The followers of Brawijaya V used to practice martial arts here.

If you arrive at the summit early, take time to explore the sites around it but conserve enough energy for the hike down.

Bring your litter down because the whole track is filthy with energy drink bottles and various items of plastic waste. It is in everyone's interest to make Lawu clean once more.

So now’s the time to learn something about where it came from, which the nuanced, storytelling show called “Rhythms of India: The Art of Nandalal Bose (1882-1966)” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art helps us to do.

Along with detailed information about one artist’s life and times, the show delivers a significant piece of news, or what is still probably news to many people: that modernism wasn’t a purely Western product sent out like so many CARE packages to a hungry and waiting world. It was a phenomenon that unfolded everywhere, in different forms, at different speeds, for different reasons, under different pressures, but always under pressure. As cool and above-it-all as modern may sound, it was a response to emergency.

In India the emergency was a bruising colonialism that had become as intolerable to artists as to everyone else. From the official British perspective, India had no living art. Its indigenous traditions were dead, the stuff of museums, and ethnological ones at that. Western classicism was the only classicism; European oil painting was the only worthy medium. Indian artists had to learn it if they wanted careers, but even then their options were limited.

Naturally some people, British and Indian alike, saw things another way. Ernest Binfield Havell, a British teacher and art historian, did. He recognized Indian art as the grand, ancient, still-vibrant phenomenon it was. And as director of the Government School of Art in Calcutta, he encouraged Indian students to bring their own past, transformed, into the present.

This mission really took fire, however, in a social circle gathered around the Tagore family in Calcutta. One of its members, the artist Abanindranath Tagore, taught at the Government School and developed a type of painting based on Indian rather than Western models. His uncle, the writer Rabindranath Tagore, opened an experimental university at Santiniketan in West Bengal. Devoted to the study, preservation and regeneration of native culture, it would be a modernist seedbed.

Into this venturesome environment came a young painter named Nandalal Bose, first as one of Abanindranath’s prize students, later as a teacher and director of art at Rabindranath’s school. From the start Bose understood the concepts behind the school: the idea that an aesthetic was also an ethos, that art’s role was more than life-enhancing, it was world-shaping.

And he knew that shaping was hard work, the result of accumulating, examining and sorting a wide spectrum of data. He observed and closely emulated Abanindranath’s style, which was based on Mughal and Rajput miniatures, and made a success of it. Bose’s watercolor and tempura “Sati” (1907), an image of a goddess who set herself on fire to prove her devotion to her husband, Shiva, was quickly adopted as an emblem of a resurgent, self-sacrificial Indian nationalism. (The original version of the painting was lost during World War II; a 1943 copy by Bose is in the show.)

In 1909 he spent months copying fifth-century Buddhist murals in the Buddhist caves at Ajanta . Everywhere he traveled he paid close attention to popular forms, urban and rural, Hindu and Muslim, from woodblock prints to palm-leaf manuscripts, to ephemeral patterns drawn in rice powder directly on the ground. He went to China and Japan to study ink-and-brush painting, and he kept an assimilative eye on trends in the West.

Steadily and quietly, from all of this he forged an art that was both cosmopolitan and distinctively Indian. It was also a body of work that conscientiously refused to settle on a recognizable style, which is why Bose continues to be an elusive presence in the history books and in the rare museum surveys of Indian modernism.

The Philadelphia show, organized by Sonya Rhie Quintanilla of the San Diego Museum of Art, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, retains the eclectic texture of Bose’s career while laying it out within something like a time-line format.

The first gallery includes early work influenced by Abanindranath’s moody, spiritualized miniaturism and by the monumental Ajanta figure type. Later Bose would cook up a highly ornamental version of the Ajanta style in murals done for a private mausoleum called the Kirti Mandir in Baroda. These paintings of scenes from “The Mahabharata” now survive primarily in Bose’s full-scale tempera-on-paper studies, which are in the show.

In 1930 he designed a series of linocut illustrations for Rabindranath Tagore’s children’s book teaching Bengali, and he made a print to commemorate Gandhi’s march to the sea that year protesting the British taxation on salt. The print, a portrait of Gandhi, was an instant hit. Cheap to reproduce, it became the most widely circulated image of the leader of the Indian freedom movement.

The two men, who had met at Santiniketan, became friends, political collaborators and spiritual allies, with Bose creating hand-colored posters of Indian village life for three of the Indian National Congress’s annual sessions that led up to independence in 1947.

After Gandhi’s death Bose continued to teach at Santiniketan; Indira Gandhi and the filmmaker Satyajit Ray were two of his many pupils. In 1951 he retired but kept producing art, mostly Japanese-inspired, ink nature studies that moved toward abstraction, and postcard-size sketches — of friends and students, street scenes and coastal fishing communities, farm animals and flowers — of a kind he had been turning out by the thousands throughout his life.

He spoke of the sketches as a form of seeing. His long-nurtured habit of carrying paper and pens wherever he went suggests a form of yoga. With their formal deftness and avidity of detail, the drawings are his most engaging and personal body of work.

While the almost self-effacing scope of Bose’s art can make his career hard to grasp, its effect on 20th-century Indian art has been important, as demonstrated in a small satellite show called “Multiple Modernities: India, 1905-2005,” organized by the art historian Michael W. Meister and the museum’s curator of Indian art, Darielle Mason, to accompany the Bose survey.

It ranges from drawings by Rabindranath Tagore, through work by Bose’s fellow modernists in Calcutta and Bombay, to pieces by contemporary artists like Atul Dodiya. Mr. Dodiya, who has recently set auction records for new Indian art, is represented here by prints of scenes from the epic “Ramayana” inspired by Bose.

If Bose was ahead of his day, he was also very much of it. Some of his work is now dated. His image of the self-immolating Sati as an ideal of Indian womanhood obviously doesn’t work today. Arpita Singh’s politically ambiguous 1993 oil painting of a pistol-wielding goddess Durga, or Bhupen Khakhar ’s watercolor “goddesses” of uncertain gender are more like it.

But as an example of a polymath artist and teacher who through consistent and diligent generosity put his talent to the service of the life of his time, he is worthy of prolonged and intensive notice. The Philadelphia show, which will travel to India, immerses us, wonderfully, in both that life and that time. And it reminds us that every Museum of Modern Art in the United States and Europe should be required, in the spirit of truth in advertising, to change its name to Museum of Western Modernism until it has earned the right to do otherwise.

Sometimes it is a good month. Sometimes it is not a good month. So, many small businesses are very pragmatic and have cost-effective advertising strategies,' Google Southeast Asia marketing manager Derek Callow told Jakarta Post on Thursday.

'Indonesia is an important market for us in Asia and it's important for us to help small businesses understand that AdWords is a great platform to advertise their businesses online,' Callow said.

Callow said that online advertising, and especially search marketing, could be a powerful driver of business growth for nearly 50 million Indonesian SMEs.

'Google AdWords is one of the most cost-effective and highly-targeted online advertising platforms available today.'

The key benefits of Google AdWords is that it can help advertisers target new audiences on the Google advertising network, Callow said. He added that it gives businesses greater control of their budgets, content, time commitment and the geographic target of the advert.

'There's no minimum spending requirement or time commitment. And with the cost-per-click option, you're only charged if people click on your ads. This means every dollar of your budget goes toward bringing new prospects to you."

Internet penetration in the country is relatively low, Callow said, but it is only a matter of time before this changes.

"One thing is for sure, more and more people are coming online. We are lucky because we are not immediately after revenue. This is not about revenue generation. This is about educating the Indonesian market about opportunities.

"With a minimum bid of Rp 90 per click and where impressions are free, Google AdWords helps small and medium businesses with traditionally small advertising budgets to target and find
relevant customers online through our ad network, which reaches 78 percent of Internet users globally."

So far, he said, the most popular Indonesian adverts on Google were adverts from travel companies, import-export companies, professional service companies such as accounting firms, legal firms and health care firms, and financial companies.

Earlier in the day, Callow spoke at a seminar on how Indonesian SMEs can take advantage of targeted online advertising.

The seminar, which was held in cooperation with detik.com news portal and market research firm Synovate at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, is the first time Google has promoted online advertising in the country. It attracted over 280 participants representing industries ranging from travel to export and retail.

Synovate research found that there were over 23 million Internet users in Indonesia in 2007, Synovate Indonesia associate director Eva Yusuf said during the seminar. The firm expects that it will grow by over 16 percent to almost 27 million users by the end of the year.

"We've also found that most Indonesians turn to the Internet to search for information before making a purchasing decision.

"This trend implies more business opportunities for small and medium businesses to advertise online to a growing pool of Internet users in Indonesia and overseas, Yusuf Said"

- JakartaPost -

It’s probably because poker is not a child game, or just funny online game. Online poker is a battle of wits and intellects, and a challenge of your nerve. In short, winning online poker is a big challenge. Play poker to win if you like a challenge, not just for earn money. And the logical mind, will find that player who seek to avoid challenge do not succeed. The winners say that, great explorers explore, and so do great poker players.

Poker skill is the exploitation of advantages in game selection, the venue, bankroll, and hand situations. These are all examples of online poker skill. But unfortunately, many people look at the “skill” in poker strategy in a very limited way. They think of actual hand-playing skills, when these skills are just a subset of a greater number of skills.

Online poker is played for money. The strategy is how we keep score. Remember, that correct play is not judged by who earn the most money. This is a matter of positive expectation on our actions. The best players are the ones who play poker correctly, with the money in hand. A great winning money player is not a great player if he makes losing choices.

The good news is skill is not some mysterious ability. You can learn it from online poker school or other poker strategy sources. These skills exist in actual online poker reality. Some of the most talented poker players are loose because they in fact often play poker terribly. The skill will combine your talent with poker strategy. Poker is more than just a bunch of cards.
Get informed and smart with online poker tips is very important. As most people know, the most successful players were limited. The best skillful players rise from lessons, experience and good strategy.

Why we choose PokerStrategy? Some of the reasons are, they have over 1,000,000 members worldwide, mainly in Germany and Europe. You will support with dozens of poker strategy videos, and live coaching sessions everyday. And the money reward mostly $100,000 will be awarded to top 250 members every month. So get the money with your online poker skills!

Or perhaps just something you enjoy once every now and then? In general, shopping is a pleasurable thing for everyone – especially when the items you're eyeing are on sale!

The Rosary Basilica and the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception One of our neighboring countries, Malaysia, offers a great deal of fun things to do. Other than sightseeing their beautiful buildings and landscapes, and also learning about their history and culture, Malaysia's capital city, Kuala Lumpur, has recently developed into an international shopping destination with a wide variety of grand shopping centers and mega malls that carry well-known global and local brands.

The annual Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Malaysia, and the Shopping Malaysia Secretariat runs from July 5th until September 1st 2008. For 59 glorious days, locals and visitors from around the world, are able to whip up a fabulous shopping spree with mind-blowing promotions and tempting bargains. With over 8 weeks of outrages discounts on a wide range of products and services at all major shopping malls and retail outlets nationwide, Kuala Lumpur is definitely one of the best places to visit this month – particularly for those who love to shop!

This year Jakarta Java Kini decided to check out the 9th Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival by joining other journalists from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Taiwan, and the United States for the mega familiarization programme in conjunction with the launch of Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2008. Taking place in Kuala Lumpur, about 200 participants comprising travel agents, journalists, TV and radio crew members, and corporate executives attended the event that ran for five days early last month.

During the five days in Kuala Lumpur, we did not only visit the shopping centers like many of the journalists expected in the beginning. That activity was saved for the last couple of days of the trip. On the first couple of days we attended the Tourism Seminar at the Legend Hotel where all the journalists from around the world were given a presentation by the Communication Unit of Tourism Malaysia, as well as speeches from the honorary guests for the programme: Ms Lai Shevren from Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia, and Dato' Mirza bin Mohammad Taiyab, Director General of Tourism Malaysia. We were informed that Malaysia's second biggest income came from the tourism industry. The growing tourism figures have been increasing every year due to the growth in hotel accommodation and shopping which accounts for the largest portion of tourist receipts – clearly indicating a healthy growth for the Malaysian tourism industry.

* Tempat parkir seluas 144.000 meter persegi
* Gedung podium setinggi 17 lantai.
* Lift yang mencapai puncak menara
* Restoran berputar
* Mal besar
* Kafe
* Taman hiburan
* Museum sejarah Indonesia
* Hotel
* Ruang serba guna/konferensi yang bisa menampung sepuluh ribu pengunjung
* Ruang-ruang perkantoran seluas 8.000 meter persegi
* Pusat pameran
* Pusat pendidikan dan pelatihan
* Pusat multimedia disertai pemancar siaran radio dan televisi
* Pusat perdagangan dan bisnis
* Pusat olah raga

* Canadian National Tower (553 meter), Toronto, Kanada
* Menara Ostankino (540 meter), Moskwa, Rusia
* Oriental Pearl Tower (468 meter), Shanghai, China, dan
* Menara Kembar Petronas (452 meter), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Tak mengherankan jika teh Long Chin Cha terkenal hingga seluruh dunia. Bahkan, pemimpin kelas dunia seperti Ratu Elizabeth dari Inggris pernah minum teh di desa ini bersama mantan Presiden Cina, Chian Cek Ming.

It was handed to me by Karyn Khoury, the highest-ranked creative director for the Estée Lauder Companies’ scents. While Khoury did not tell me its name, she did say that the perfume, which she and Firmenich perfumer Annie Buzantian were working on, was to be the next feminine launched by the Estée Lauder brand.

I remember finding the unnamed, unfinished scent jaw-droppingly innovative and beautiful. But I am now uncertain both of my memory of that olfactory sketch and, to a degree, of my impression of the
perfume it has become.

Lauder premiered Sensuous earlier this summer with one of the most spectacular launches ever given a fragrance. Gwyneth Paltrow, Elizabeth Hurley, Caroline Murphy and Hilary Rhoda provide no less than four major faces for this one scent. There is a very specific reason for this. Lauder is the queen of American perfume houses, and it was Josephine Esther Mentzer from Corona, Queens, who transformed perfume into an authentic American art and herself into Estée Lauder. Starting with Youth Dew in 1953, Lauder dominated U.S. sales. For four decades American women viewed her perfumes, from Aliage in 1972 to White Linen in 1978 to Beautiful in 1985 as basically mandatory.

Less so now. In 1995, Khoury and Buzantian collaborated on Pleasures, which became a Lauder franchise to rival Warner’s Batman (Pleasures and Beautiful still sit firmly among atop NPD’s U.S. bestseller lists; Beautiful usually at #1), but the last major Lauder perfume, the excellent Beyond Paradise of 2003, was a major disappointment. The brand’s demographics have aged along with its scents, and the buzz — fickle and capricious — has wandered off to grace other, cooler names.
Lauder put everything it has into Sensuous. The risk the company is taking is serious. Sensuous is a wood, and wood scents for women are notoriously perilous since wood is associated with “masculine” (incorrectly; see Feminité du Bois by Shiseido). Lauder scents are historically either florals or aldehydics (i.e. powders like White Linen). But this is a bet on change. If the bet works, Sensuous will lower the all-important age of Lauder’s clientele; if it doesn’t, it may also turn off existing clients. Putting this perfume on the market is a major act of faith at 767 Fifth Avenue.

Is there a way to dissociate this scent from its backstory? Perhaps. Perhaps not. The perfume opens nicely on skin, a wood mixed with such a striking vanillic chewy accord (plus anise and pepper) that it reads like the smell of the firewood waiting to heat the oven of a pastry chef. The wood has bathed in spices and hot creams and kitchen air steamed with bubbling sugar. Buzantian’s construction is solid, the materials mesh expertly, and Khoury has clearly gotten what she wanted. But if Sensuous avoids copying extant perfumes (a serious plus) and states its case clearly — a contemporary oriental — it does so with a somewhat muted voice. I believe, but can’t judge for sure, that the November iteration was reined in. There is no smoke from this wood. That might have been too edgy. In fact, the wood there is has been kept at such a low volume that the perfume morphs into a golden, accessible gourmand rather than anything close to a full-on wood concept (reference: Chanel’s Sycamore). More pretty than striking.

But that’s what Lauder wanted. And despite an inexplicable bottle, Sensuous was NPD-ranked #2 the week of July 20-26. Also what Lauder wanted. We’ll see what happens when the ads stop. I think that my initial reaction to the sketch of the perfume was, in large part, surprise. To dare, even cautiously, is admirable. The final version of Sensuous dares you for a moment, then offers you more conventional charms. There is such good will surrounding the perfume — one gets the sense that even its competitors somehow wish the queen a success — that it was only after wearing it for a while that I placed this smell. Sensuous is the scent of Estée Lauder holding its breath.

For those who take the time to get acquainted, it is ''a city of serendipities,'' an Indonesian said; a city of neighborhoods that lead like stepping stones across hundreds of years of history.

Jakarta, steaming away on the edge of the Java Sea, doesn't regard itself as a tourist attraction, except to people from the Javanese countryside and the Indonesian archipelago beyond who come to get a glimpse of modern living: escalators, skyscrapers and such. Most foreigners bypass it on the way to Bali or other designated vacation spots. Getting to know Jakarta is therefore a do-it-yourself operation, and the discovery can be made in a day or two, if that is all the time there is. Some people who have lived here a decade -not all of them foreigners - say they never stop finding new, always unadvertised corners.
To explore Jakarta in its own footsteps, from trading port to capital of the world's fifth most-populous nation, start at the seafront - Sunda Kelapa, the ''coconut'' town. From the 12th or 13th to the 16th century, a settlement here near the mouth of the Ciliwung River served as an international trading post for the Hindu kingdom of Sunda. It was a humid, pestiferous port - the kingdom's capital was a sensible two-day boat trip upstream at Pakuan-Pajajaran, near the present hill town of Bogor. Ships sailed to Sunda Kelapa from China and India to pick up spices and agricultural products. The port fell into Moslem hands in 1527, when it was conquered by an alliance of Javanese sultans. They renamed it Jayakarta, the Javanese word for victorious. A century later, Europeans came along.

Most historians say there really isn't anything left of Sunda Kepala or Jayakarta that wasn't built over by the Dutch. But there are memories here. Go to the long quay where the wooden sailing boats called prahus from Sulawesi (the Indonesian name for the Celebes) and Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo) dock to unload their cargoes of timber and other products of the sparsely settled outer islands. The sailors are often fierce Bugis, conservative Islamic people who share and carry on the old seafaring skills of Arab traders from the Indian Ocean.

Now and then whole families seem to live aboard the prahus of the Java Sea: you can see them cooking meals on deck, or coming ashore to stock up on provisions before setting sail again.

From this quay the visitor can also look across to the remains of an early Dutch fort, warehouses and a lookout tower with a fine view of the old port. Before setting off to see them, it is useful to pause and take in the setting at a little distance. From here in the early 17th century, the Dutch began to consolidate their rule over what was then known as the Netherlands East Indies.

Across the harbor, visitors can climb the lookout tower for views to the sea or inland, to what is now one of the densest and poorest - as well as noisiest and most malodorous -parts of the city. Jakarta's fish market, the Pasar Ikan, is nearby, and the lanes leading into it can be hard on the faint of stomach. But for those who love Oriental bazaars at their most authentic, this one is a winner. Small shops sell everything from chandlers' goods to cooking pots and underwear.

Off the lane is the entrance to both the lookout tower and the Bahari Museum, a collection of traditional sailing vessels and other maritime paraphernalia housed in an old godown, or warehouse, from the days of the Dutch East India Company. The museum is worth visiting if only to study its construction. It is a 17th- and 18th-century building of solid timber and plaster construction, and a climb to the third-floor galleries reveals the building's solid wood skeleton. The building, a warehouse for copper and other metals that were precious at the time it was built, runs along what was once the old city wall, with a parapet overlooking the bazaar to one side and the museum on the other. Aside from its maritime paraphernalia, the Bihari has maps showing the progression of Jakarta inland over the centuries.

Mereka menganggap bila pemeriksaan
menunjukkan hasil index yang normal berarti semua
OK. Kesalahpahaman macam ini ternyata juga dilakukan
oleh banyak dokter spesialis. Benar-benar
mengejutkan, para dokter yang seharusnya memberikan
pengetahuan yang benar pada masyarakat umum,
ternyata memiliki pengetahuan yang tidak benar.
Pencegahan kanker hati harus dilakukan dengan cara
yang benar.

Tidak ada jalan lain kecuali mendeteksi dan
mengobatinya sedini mungkin, demikian kata dokter
Hsu Chin Chuan. Tetapi ironisnya, ternyata dokter
yang menangani kanker hati juga bisa memiliki
pandangan yang salah, bahkan menyesatkan masyarakat,
inilah penyebab terbesar kenapa kanker hati sulit
untuk disembuhkan.

Penyebab utama kerusakan hati adalah :

1. Tidur terlalu malam dan bangun terlalu siang adalah penyebab paling utama

2. Pola makan yang terlalu berlebihan.

3. Tidak makan pagi.

4. Terlalu banyak mengkonsumsi obat-obatan.

5. Terlalu banyak mengkonsumsi bahan
pengawet, zat tambahan, zat pewarna,
pemanis buatan.

6. Minyak goreng yang tidak sehat! Sedapat
mungkin kurangi penggunaan minyak goreng saat
menggoreng makanan hal ini juga berlaku meski
menggunakan minyak goreng terbaik sekalipun seperti
olive oil. Jangan mengkonsumsi makanan yang digoreng
bila kita dalam kondisi penat, kecuali dalam kondisi
tubuh yang fit.

7. Mengkonsumsi masakan mentah (sangat
matang) juga menambah beban hati. Sayur mayur
dimakan mentah atau dimasak matang 3/5 bagian. Sayur
yang digoreng harus dimakan habis saat itu juga,
jangan disimpan.

Kita harus melakukan pencegahan dengan tanpa
mengeluarkan biaya tambahan. Cukup atur gaya hidup
dan pola makanan sehari-hari. Perawatan dari pola
makan dan kondisi waktu sangat diperlukan agar tubuh
kita dapat melakukan penyerapan dan pembuangan
zat-zat yang tidak berguna sesuai dengan jadwalnya,

Sebab:

@ Malam hari pk 9 - 11: adalah pembuangan
zat- zat tidak berguna/beracun (de-toxin) dibagian
sistem antibodi (kelenjar getah bening). Selama

paru-paru. Sebab itu akan terjadi batuk yang hebat
bagi penderita batuk selama durasi waktu ini. Karena
proses pembersihan (de-toxin) telah mencapai saluran
pernafasan, maka tak perlu minum obat batuk agar
supaya tidak merintangi proses pembuangan kotoran.

@ Pagi pk 5 - 7: de-toxin di bagian usus
besar, harus buang air di kamar kecil.

@ Pagi pk 7 - 9: waktu penyerapan gizi
