No more Entrecard!

Yesterday while submiting my new blog "Matris Terra" to Entrecard.com, the management of Entrecard did not only deleted my new submission, as well all other accounts related to blogs i managed within the site. It appears that all the blogging spirit is now highly measured by some quality standards of chauvinism and control of information inside Entrecard. The human qualities of the site are totally turned into a profit market, obssessed with ratios and economic figures, while the true nature of blogging intentions and the beauty of spreading info is tottaly mishaped and disfigured.

So, i will not beg, so i will not follow as a religion the drop and drop limited freedom system, so this site is:

ENTRECARD FREE! NO DROPS!

NO SUBMISSION!

O grupo musical português "Nearfield" foi o primeiro projecto Lusófono a conseguir reunir a soma final de 50000 dollars no site www.sellaband.com . O dinheiro foi obtido através dos fans, que adquiriram parcelas de dez dollars cada e correspondentes a um futuro cd cada. O Valor adquirido pelo grupo musical permitirá que a banda grave um CD com condições profisisonais e de dimensão internacional.

O site Sellaband apresenta um modelo que permite que os fans (believers) comprem partes de 10 dollars de um futuro CD de uma banda. Partilhando assim o sucesso, e ainda podendo retirar dividendos monetários através da venda de partes(cds), percentagem sobre os downloads das bandas em que tenham investido, e ainda um parcial da publicidade mostrada nas páginas dos artistas em que tenham investido.

Já atingiram o objectivo dos 50000 dollars, um total de 26 bandas de várias nacionalidades, mas o projecto "Nearfield" foi o primeiro de origem Lusófona a conseguir tal feito!

Myspace? Forged Plays?

It is not new for a lot of us, that the credibility of a giant can be shaked by the lack of honor and ethics of the people. For quite a while, inumerous services have been arising to provide artists at myspace the possibility to increase dramatically their plays, number of page visits and friends, only for some dollars.

But as it was obvious, this kind of services were, and are, violating the term of service of Myspace, so those who used this abuse policy of promotion, and still are using, for sure will not be as happy, as they were when they thought they were climbing in the charts.

As you can read in this quote of an answer done by Myspace crew member in a topic around this subject in the www.donewating.com blog.

Euro Pop 2008 - Freaky Trigger

Freaky Trigger is a United Kingdom Blog community with a respectful number of users that discuss music and all parallels related.
Europop 2008 is a competitive pop tournament: 16 brave players have each volunteered to ‘manage’ one of the countries involved in the Euro 2008 football tournament. This involves finding MP3 tracks from each country and pitting them in one-on-one matches with tracks from another country, in the same format and order as the ‘real’ competition. This one is designed to end at around the time the real one does, in June.

The Europop manager of the portuguese team, did a great job leading the Portuguese Nationl team of Music reaching the Semi-Finals (much better than the real soccer team, that only reached the quarter-finlas of the Euro 2008).

The selected musics selected by the manager of the Portuguese Team were:
