You weasel your way in until they feel there is absolutely no other option but to send you! That ladies and gentleman, is how I was able to spend a really magical weekend in New Orleans.

A great thing happened this weekend! 

Spring makeup came out! Yay!

I'm not one that often changes my makeup with the season.  I'll update my nailpolish, perhaps a new lipstick, and occasionally a new blush (however, I found that coral blush works so great on me that I haven't stopped wearing it since last summer.)

As of right now, I feel icky and full.  I've been eating for 4 days straight and not depriving myself one bit.  It's easy to immediately jump on the "workout more" bandwagon, but I find that every year I do that, I just fail.

On this Veterans Day I want to take a chance to say a little bit about a friend who passed away fighting in Afghanistan.  I knew Sargent Daniel J. Patron in high school, back when he was Danny P.  I was devoted to speech and theater, and Danny's mom, Kathy, was our very devoted coach.

Movember is a clever little portmanteau of Moustache and November.  This annual, month-long event involves growing a moustache or facial hair throughout the month to raise awareness for men's health problems.

You guys, it's almost November! Can you believe that?  I mean, I can - I've been seeing Christmas decorations set up next to the Back to School stuff for months at this point!  Surprise, surprise, I love the holidays.
