US lawmakers seek clues to Fort Hood shooting

Frances Townsend, a former Homeland Security advisor to president George W. Bush, said she feared there was a reluctance to proceed against Hasan, despite the red flags, because he was an army officer.

Investigators “should feel confident that they can pursue the facts” even if it leads to a Muslim army officer, she said. “The mechanism certainly does exist” for different US intelligence agencies to share the information, she said.

It is hard to miss the fact that Hasan probably moved along for graduation and promotion  due to Political Correctness.  Mentioning his  radical Islamic ideology as  a factor  would be making waves and anyone in the Military will tell you that you don’t want to make waves.   Admitting that a mistake was by being too politically correct would not just cause waves but would cause a tsunami.  Still, if the Army had taken off the Islamic protective gloves judging his progress like any other Soldier’s , Hasan would have received the boot that he so richly deserved after throwing out too many red flags.

Military Families need to remain vigilant and contact their representatives urging them to keep in mind that poltical correctives had a hand in allowing Hasan to slip therough the cracks.  This may cause a tsunami but  without a tsunami we are going to get weaker and weaker until we are attacked at home once again. You also have to remember that the Military are the ones who have always led in diversity so it would be perfect for the Military to led the way and ignore all boxes to be checked on race, religion, or gender proving perfect equality.

Our soldiers clearly need more care; the last thing they need is to be put into more harm’s way. Even US military officers think so–Matthew Hoh resigned from the Foreign Service in protest of the lack of clear mission and achievable results in Afghanistan, and of course the Ft. Hood shooter was a Major who did not wish to be deployed to Afghanistan.

Yesterday, President Obama flew to Ft. Hood for the memorial service; today we can urge him to prevent future memorials by stopping the surge. Congress really should take a good strong look at any non-profit who strives to hurt our security, support a political party or undermine your freedom by hurting our Military.  Enough is enough!

If you do your homework you will be shocked to note that two people in the video about have a history of working with our Government and teaching school.  Ann Wright the pink Nurse in the video is , a retired U.S. Army colonel. Desiree Anita Ali-Fairooz,  the video witch, is a retired school librarian and teacher from Texas. Now that is a fact that is really scare.

Prayers for the families of our fallen and the wounded at Fort Hood.

The attack on November 5th was beyond close to home this was our home.   As a Mom of two sons at Fort Hood I always sleep better knowing they are home in their safety zone after serving long tours far from home.  I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that changes are needed in policies that are run by political correctness rather than security correctness.  If a person leaves a trail of behavior and statements that sound more like Jihad than security they should be examined and examined hard. Nobody wants heads to roll over mistakes but we do want change in policy to keep this from happening again.

May our wounds heal and may those who were lost never be forgotten. May we make them proud by demanding that the right be done by them and for our nation.
